update:-
morning went for gynae appt.
now 38 weeks, bb est 3.5kg

within 2 weeks i've put on slighlty >1kg but most of the weight went to bb
2 weeks ago, bb's est only 2.7kg
gynae also done VE chk for me too but nt dilated

halo everyone, i'm just back from shopping... today friday, already one week start my MTL.. so bored at home and tired for shooping

well, yestrday went for check up again.. gynae was worry for me cos suddenly within one week i lost 2 kg nia~ drag me for some test worry will effect bb growing. gosh~ but then, lucky my princess growing well and now 39weeks plus already 3kg! hee hee

super excited now. i only left 4days to my EDD...!

Don worry.. sometime its normal to lost some weight when approaching EDD or even to labour.

Oh, my gynae's instructions were written on my admission letter. CTG, enema, epidural if <4cm, epidural doc to be XXX, no shave....
I dunno if that's the norm for the hospital or it is just my gynae...

My gynae didnt say no shave.. so i guess i will get the shave.

I dunno but my spotting seems to cease now.. then also no contractions for today too, so i am not sure. Maybe its not going to be today afterall.

I just came back from gynae's , did CTG, no contractions detected, bb heartbeat ok, scan after that show water level ok, placenta ok, next visit @ 38wk5days will do VE to check cervic, and need to do another CTG, dont understand if economy no good, thats why need to earn some extra money from me

But sometimes slight cramp a bit then no more.

how abt cutting the hair really short before going in? maybe the nurse will not shave you then? Actually, i dun think hair there will interfere with birthing since hair is normally concentrated at the top and not at vagina opening leh....

No more contractions? What to do? just keep monitoring bah... Must also keep track of babys movements. Guess like you, me also have to really sure the contractions are increasing in intensity before going to hospital. but gynae told me second labour (in my case) will faster and shorter, so false alarm better than too late then cannot epidural. he scaring me lor.

Hmm me not sure. scarry i cut short they also shave. Nevermind let them shave, at most itchy + wound below let it be itchy...

Ya lor now siao siao, i dunno how. But today bb is moving lesser than normal, but still got 10 movements. I dunno is this consider any reason for alarm but my mum tink i shd go hosp regardless got contractions or not, cos she say keep bleeding/spotting dunno good or not.

But gynae say wait for contractions.. me so confused.

babycupid: yea, my gynae also dr wong...she's good! made me v. comfy during delivery and stitching...still can talk n laugh...maybe coz also am on epidural la..haha...

all: yea, jake is quite alert...think like his daddy...after he was born, his eyes remained wide open for a good 1 hour! kept rolling his eyes to look around...dunno wat he's looking at also...as if he can really focus like tat..hahha...

About baby growing weight when the mother rest, i second this! Coz initial stage, I was stressed and lost weight, but over weekend, I slept like pig, my gal gains the weight, and even though I look skinnier, she is the one who absorbed from me. Now I am more active, her weight also maintains coz she exercise mah.

Fennie, tell you wat, you have your meal, rest then go sleep, sure you will feel good and your baby as well, so dun worry, just try out and rest as much. Best if you can get your hubby let you off sometimes to rest at home.

hi everyone...

i am back home. it was a great experience...

i was at the hospital yesterday 7am. went to the delivery ward near 8am, and gynae check that it's still around 3cm, and started breaking my water bag...

it was quite uncomfortable....after a while, think the contraction started...but wasn't painful, only got to know thru the machine reading there was contractions.

around 9am, doctor came and do the epi...so legs slowly started to numb...and whole body feel itchy

i felt so sleepy as didnt have much sleep the previous nite...maybe too excited n nervous

so got some sleep since the gynae told me usually first one will take quite while, and will come back around 12+ to see how's the dilation.

around 10+am, gynae drop by and check it's 4cm...

so went back to sleep again

around noon, midwife told be it's 7cm...n shortly,by 1+pm, she say can start pushing...

i was quite shocked, as there wasn't any pain or much feeling...due to epi, so i just did as what the midwife say

shortly gynae came, and at 2:03pm, my little prince rex arrived!

it was a fast and painless experience...haha

Can't sleep..wake up by pain.
having severe back pain for some hours but didn't know until i try to walk then realise i can't walk much cos of backache.
Monitoring now..
now bottom feel like swelling and whole back and front all pain.
