Maro - the ABC mat is my friend's one, actually very thin, thinner than the Yellow Bear 12cm thick mat. Quality wise, similar to those I have, which is hand me down

Hi hi..

I'm thinking to buy some waterproof bibs from babymall online, anyone has any experience? My friend just got me one and I love it. Easy to clean. Or if not, any recommendation where to buy/ BP/ etc?

Veggie Tales:
It's actually a cartoon series that I like. It's more biblical, but its funny and instill good values. I'm thinking to build up collection on good old cartoons.

Oh ya BBliss,

Are you calling FM for samples? If so, can you help me to call as well? I'm thinking to try her on Nan2 or Friso Cream.

Thanks ya

really glad i bought the boxset, my mum can play the DVDs for my girl, at least that's better than watching regular tv right?

re: booster seats
all the booster seats posted here look good. i've got a FP space saver high chair, same concept as a booster seat but the seat is FP highchair quality kind of seat. more expensive than booster seats leh, think it was more than $100 even on sale

Angel,

Can you bring Dana's JR headband this Fri, I want to see if Maddy likes it. The last time I tried Kayla's on her, she was on a bad mood, thus crying non stop. Also must remind myself to bring your pillow cover
happy.gif

Maddy's Mum,

What kinda waterproof bibs do you mean?
I use Dex Dura bibs, awesome stuff. http://www.amazon.com/Dex-Dura-Bib-Stage-2/dp/B000TZCQVC
The crumb/liquid catcher opens wide and the whole bib opens up flat for super easy cleaning.

Try Kidzcottage, they might still have some. Otherwise there's another local webstore that sells them cheap but I'm not sure about the name so grab a lazy afternoon and do a bit of internet googling

Gervynne,

I only just saw your question about the Leapfrog Learn and Groove Activity Station.
Don't remember the exact price but I think it's about $200+

Winter, thanks..
want to put that ABC mat at my MIL's place. Think I'll open up and see the material first..

goodbb,
I shaved my boy during his full mth, kind of regret cos till now no hair.. like wat jamie mention, really depend on individual.

but lots of friends adviced me to have at least shave a few more times to get the nicer hair texture. But i really do not wish to see him botak again so nv shaved, just trim during his 4th mth :p

<font color="aa00aa">babyliss,
can get for me SIMILAC stage 2 from this link
http://www.abbott.com.sg/contactus.asp

thanks..

strawberries,
any reasons why u dilute the FM, i know for similac 1 scoop == 60ml (2oz) so 2 scoops is for 4oz right?
my pd did advice me to dilute a little when my boy urine is yellowish when i no longer bf.

maddy's mum,
i just got the Dex dura bibs from this BP, slightly cheaper than Kidzcottage

Lynn,
Yes, definitely watching this DVD meant for baby is better than TV. But i limit to 1 per day or 2 (morning and evening) cos too much also not good.

My boy loved it but of course he loved the TV more.. my MIL likes to watch TV and the maid follow, already told them many times but I am working so cant see wat's going on at home.. haiz..

Anyway, for the Einstein DVD, start with 'Baby Bethoven', 'Baby Mozart', 'Baby Bach', more mascots inside these few DVDs and think baby will likes more.. :p

Maddy's Mum...i bought mine from mothercare...cost abt $5 each i thk coz nw got sale....n its veli nice too...u shld chk it out....n also places like moo moo cow (in Amara/Raffles Plc) have such bibs at not too ex. px...

Maddy's Mum,
The BP where Maro got the Dex Dura bibs has got a good price. The other local webstore sells it even cheaper but $9 isn't shabby
happy.gif

Thanks for the scoop on Veggie Tales, I'll check it out. I was at United Square on Sunday and I think there was a book/DVD sale on Level 1, worth checking out if you're looking for stuff.

Maro,
We've got Baby Einstein's Baby Mozart and Baby's First Moves. It's cute but annoying that the break between scenes is a little too long. That one second is enough for my son to start looking bored! He loves the puppets though
happy.gif

I also let him watch Wordworld, Tigger &amp; Pooh and Dibo the Gift Dragon on Playhouse Disney. They seem to be his favorites at the moment, hubby and I have a great time watching him laugh and gurgle
happy.gif

He turns away from some shows but is thoroughly captivated by the aforementioned.

I personally see nothing wrong with TV per se, there are some great programs on Playhouse Disney for instance. We don't let him watch Tom &amp; Jerry and Looney Tunes as it gets a little crazy and violent, even if it's in the name of fun and comedy.

I guess I'll have to start looking for good DVD collections soon, does anyone have any recommendations?

mummies:
u all carry ur bb when they having injections?

me must be a bad mummy, didn't know must carry bb...carry bb bcos bb will not be afraid?
sad.gif

cloudme,
yeah, at polyclinic, the nurse WANTs the mum to carry, no one else. strange right?

so who carry for you? think carrying baby during injection is for soothing them when they cry after the injection.. as long as the person carrying can do that should not be a prob.. so u not a bad mummy..

Diva, can try barney. My niece picked up good habits, like wash your hands before eating, etc from the Show. And there are a lots of singing.

Cloudme - the nuuses will encourage us to carry, and there is no place to put them down. Carry to hold them still for the injection too. Normally my husband carry, cause I scare I will cry with bb :p

diva,
but my mil likes to watch those ch8 series think not good for baby la.. baby program ok, but i prefer those educational type.. :p

my boy also same, when dont like for example those scenes that do not hv puppets or mascots, or only scenery or humans he will turn away or cry for attention.

i am looking at Brainy baby series.. heard it's good..
happy.gif

Geryl,
Voted for your sweetie pie.. beautiful she is, with lovely eyes too!
happy.gif

Cloudme,
You're not a bad mummy, you can carry baby but you don't have to. They're likely to cry from the jab whether or not they're carried
happy.gif

We've seen 2 PDs for my son's jabs and one asked us to put him down on the bed while the other said we could carry him, so it all depends. Next time, you carry your baby
