babybliss, i am oso interested in Pikkolo carrier, missed the last bp too. my ger dun like the MIM sling, so.. my hubby had to carry her all the time. (I hv no strength la)

btw, does ur baby cries when ppl try to carry/talk to them? mine seems to recognise ppl liao and will cry when relatives/strangers try to carry her. we had a hard time trying to pacify her... faintz.

Mummies, now that our bb have arrived, i think it would be good to update our biodata as what Geryl has been faithfully doing for us on excel sheet. I realised i still cannt register the mummies' faces w their smh nicks, bb names etc. If we need to contact one another it is also easier.

I ordered a custom babyhawk directly from their website with reversible print, for about USD$88 with US domestic shipping. Original price is about $90+ but I have used a 10% discount coupon. If you're ordering, pm me for the code but I don't know whether it's still valid now.

I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on how good it is. But I read a lot of reviews that the weight distribution is good and there's shoulder padding which isn't too bulky. Can withhold up to maybe 15-20kg or as long as you're comfortable carrying your baby. You can check their FAQs. It's basically like a Pikkolo except that you have to tie the straps yourself, but for a fraction of the Pikkolo's price.

I saw someone is getting a 2nd one. Is that Lynn??? Think the padded waist gd to get. It is cheaper to get at 180 with the padded waist hor compared to the otehr time we paid like 176 plus for the carrier only. Thinking whether i shd get the padded waist?

Mummies who BF, i remember seeing some alcohol test strips at mums and babes. They sell them at the cashier counter. Its for testing alcohol content in the milk. For those of you who want to drink occasionally might 1 2 get that test so dun have to throw away more milk than what is needed.

i agree on the synergy not being compact. with it i don suffer the back pains that i use to suffer with the mim sling during the first month that i use it.
now with the synergy its my shoulders that ache coz my son is 7kg plus.

what i don like is when remove him half way, really lost what to do with the carrier. cannot fit into my bag and hv to ask hubby or maid to carry. make it v messy with the stoller, bag and shopping.

re carrier, I'm using bbbjorn air and it seems to be ok for bb and daddy (the one who use it hee).... But then again, I've never tried other than this one.

Im sort of new here but the April mommies club thingies is kinda cool. I have supplier for children books. So perhaps one of these days when there is demand I can organize a BP
