Hi, me just came back from shopping at OG, Taka and Robinsons. Did not get anything at Taka, the sales did not seem very attractive, and the Children's wear fair does not have baby clothes, mainly for older kids.
Bet OG, Taka and Robinsons, I thik Robinsons still have a better selection, and for OCBC cardmembers, got additional 5% rebate in the statement. But i bought a Bfree bottle at OG cos got 20% off. Robinsons does not have the Bfree bottles. Robinsons is still the most crowded among the 3 places although all of them having sale.
At Robinsons, I bought a Pigeon steriliser for $149, packaged with 3 other items, one box has twin pack of wide neck bottles, another box is a newborn starter kit (with 3 bottles, 1 pacifier, 1 bottle brush and 1 milk power container, cost abt $40 if purchased separately), and 3rd box is the bottle and babyfood warmer, which cos abt $60 if purchased separately. Not sure if this was a good buy, but the items which come with it are pretty useful. The funny thing was Robinsons had put this special offer package out by mistake, me and hubby saw it before we hopped over to OG, but when we went back to Robinsons to get it, the staff were quickly removing it off the shelf, and I heard them say that it should actually not be displayed out yet, cos the special offer for this package will only start in a few days when they advertise it. But me and hubby told the guy that we saw it earlier and wanted to buy it, so they let us buy it. Another couple also saw it on the shelves when the staff were removing it and wanted to get it, but the staff said they can only get when the item is advertised.
Oh yeah, i also went to check out the Avent steriliser which was on special offer at Taka for $149, but the item it came with which was the gourmet storage set did not seem very useful.
BTW, realized that when buying baby things, some things come with the certain sets on promotion so no need to buy separately, e.g. tongs come with the sterilizer, bottle brush may come with bottles.
