Cheesycake
And now it's time for crackers...... hehe hungry alrdy.
In this day and age, any working MTB who manages to stay calm & happy everyday for full term has got to be a saint! My goodness irritants attack from every angle, there is no respite. My big fear is that son turns out to be grouchy and crabby -- just like me! :p lol

Geryl
I look forward to the weekend too. I like to nuah in bed.

joelle: must happy & smile more. so when ur son is born he will be a cutie bb... like me i also stress at work at times. but when my bb kicks me, i forgot abt everything liao. i will smile happily when she kicks me... remind me there's a little life in my womb... how wonderful...

my NT measure 3mm was the one taken at 19/20 weeks. the one taken at 10/11 weeks should be 1mm

doris: my mum will be doing C for me but I need to find a maid to help her with the household chores. I am still thinking if i should get cater for confinement food so that I can stay at my own home instead of my parents' because it will be too cramped like that.

geryl: ya so I did not really buy alot of 0-3mths one because some relatives will be passing 2nd hands one to me.

cheesycake: Ya my boy kicks and punches me everyday and sometimes I found myself smiling silly whenever it happens. so nice feeling got something inside me!

I wanna ask a very silly question. Our EDD are all based on wk40 is it? or wk 38?

gervynne: sometimes when my hubby see my smiling to myself he know bb is kicking me... i really cant help but keep smiling. coz the feeling is really great~

Hi ,
I am from the Nov thread Mummies. I have a brand new Ameda Lactaline bought from Mothercare to let go at $300.

Seal was opened to check items. Warranty left another 20 months from now.
This is longer than the usual 1-year warranty period if u get from other places.
I didn't manage to use it cos family is not supportive of BF-ing.

I also have a pair of Mumsfairy Supershield to go along with it, at $320 together.
Self collect from Jln Jurong Kecil.
Interested, please PM me.

that's what my gynae advise also, its cleaner & wont get any infection when older. although its kinda of poor thing to do it at such young age, but it will be more painful when they are older.

doris: dun worry U will feel the kicks soon as you progress in the 2nd trimester.

I was very scared last nite as I was lying in bed watching TV then my bb kicked me so hard many times near my cervix! I was so afraid he will move lower instead and I kept surfing the internet after that for incompetent cervix topics. Gosh. Anyone gets very low kickings? Is that something to be worried about?

Jamie:
No, i did not.

Gervynne, sometime me feel my bb kicking low, near my cervix, doc do advise me tat my placenta a bit low, hope it ll move up.

anyone plan to give birth at Glen E? have you all ask the charges etc??

cloudluv: I had low placenta during the 1st tri but was told my gynae that it has shifted up. I hope that is not the case otherwise I will freak out.

koori: my boy's kickings are very low, usually at the sides. My belly button has not pop out yet, so funny! hee

Kea: I heard there's a place that sells alot of baby stuff at kaki bukit. Don't have the exact address with me though. I am using GlenE but am clueless on the admission charges etc. hmm maybe next appt i ask my nurse.

jamie: where to bring our son to circumcise? I wonder how young then he can get it done.

gervynne

HI Ladies,

Good evening .. just now went baby hyperstore after my antenatal class at kkh .. there's a promo at the class which can buy the infant car seat at $49.90 usual price suppose to be $89.90 ...

very satisfied with it .. hahha the brand is safety 1st .. anybody heard of it?

Was advised by the sales ppl there tat not encouraged to buy those convertible type as the car seats tend to be too big for the bb .. and the seat is too deep ... therefore decided to buy the infant car seat at the offer price ....

I heard can take dong chong cao after 20 weeks.

Went for my 1st antenatal class today. I thik it is better to go earlier in your pregnancy rather than later cos you learn quite a lot of things which are quite useful, like the correct posture when getting out of bed, whether you can go for prenatal massage, etc. Also learned the correct way to apply the stretchmark cream, and how to rub the tummy correctly, cos if rub too often the wrong way can induce contractions.

And if you letting baby listen to music, dun put headphones to the tummy, cos may be too loud for baby. Just play normally on speakers will do. The trainer say there have been quite a few cases where the parents put headphones on tummy so baby was born deaf cos too loud. Lucky I learn this early, cos someone (who gave birth last year) told me to put headphones on the tummy to let baby listen to music.

Sputnik - thanks for sharing some really tips with us.
Btw wats the proper way to rub the tummy when applying stretchmark cream?

hee sputnik you went for the Mrs wong prenatal class too? hi hi seems like a long time didnt access this site. mine is a boy and will be going for detailed scan next week.

Hi jenny,

it's not necessary to buy maternity seatbelt. You just use a hair clip and clip at the retracting part, then very comfy liao...
