Are you using Pigeon teats?
We're in KL now, don't quite know where to go to get a hole puncher. Heard many people say they just use a sharp razor blade to expand the hole.

Do other mummies have any experience with feeding their baby cereal from a bottle? What teats do you use? And what size?

i'm using avent teats. my elder girl is using teat 4 which is already abit small, so i bought the puncher to enlarge the hole. i dont know how to use the scissor or razor blade to expand so i rather get the puncher, easier to use. it comes with 3 different size for different stage.
currently i hv not feed my boy cereal thru the bottle yet.

I love Carter's sleeveless romper aka sunsuits ya. Dom looks so boyish &amp; handsome in it. I'm sure u will enjoy yours too. &amp; cheap! I'm tempted to get another but I wonder how long is he going to wear one-pieces as opposed to t shirt &amp; shorts. maybe if the price is right.....

I used to go to Beauty World for "cheap" baby clothes but now i realise they are really not that cheap. in the early days i wanted plain white bodysuits &amp; separates so i would get from the household shops at the top floor / food center, or other children's clothes shops in the bldg. 1 bodysuit (sleeve or w/o) costs abt $10. now compared to walmart, or even the neighbourhood market stalls whr i can get $2 t shirt n $2 shorts (&amp; decent quality, colorful &amp; bright, good enough for home), it is exorbitant! but no issue with quality, they are lasting n boy is still wearing them.

Confession, I am overloaded with bodysuits *embarrassed* I bought from babymallonline, carters, n child o mine just to compare quality. n now hv 3 packs excess that i want to sell off cos 1. too damn many and 2. too small even at 12M size (wth i thought angmo babies were huge??) so off to the WTS forum they go (shh don't tell the hubster!) the conclusion is that carter's from babycenter is still the best quality &amp; biggest cutting. next best is child o mine. ah, the price of knowledge!

RE: current splurges. i have succumbed to the jumperoo and i think it is about time for a bumper playmat. clothes wise i am toying with shirt n pants so i am over the bodysuit phase

i think u can tell that i m one of those women with a closetful of clothes - &amp; nothing to wear

you were asking about enlarging teat hole. just use a small scissors. u know those metal ones with sharp tips, for cutting eyebrows / nails? poke 1 blade tip into the hole, stretch it a bit and snip. do bit by bit so u don't make too big a hole!

my boy drinks 5 oz ebm + 1 tsp brown rice powder. teat is Nuk either L size, or an enlarged M (hole size between M and L). HT barley flakes should be no problem, IMO it is not as dense as brown rice powder. I think u can do 5 oz ebm + 2 tsp barley even, but good to go slow when experimenting.

I LOVE CLOTHES. I SHAMELESSLY LOVE CLOTHES.
Haha before baby, I'd obviously shop shop shop for myself. Now I keep the evidence tucked away so I don't feel so bad.. out of sight, ALMOST out of mind!

I ordered the Heroes Sunsuit from Walmart, got a few tank+shorts set too.. all from Carter's COM. Very cheap so I dared to get hubby's opinion, and even he added a few items to the shopping list! Haha do I buy for Ethan or me, I wonder..

I agree about the Beauty World type children's clothes shops, you'd think they're cheap but so not the case! I go to Bukit Timah Plaza very frequently and the children's shop there has yet to wrangle a cent from me! I don't quite like the trimming that they tend to have along the seams, it seems scratchy..

Need more home wear for Ethan soon though as the boy is growing fast! He's currently wearing plain white button down tees from JL, 3 for $10. Don't think they've got bigger sizes though, gotta start looking for alternatives.

Ethan can't sit up yet but we got him a jumperoo quite awhile ago, we put him in it occasionally to let him 'play' with the toys. A bumper playmat is also on our WTB list. I assume you refer to the LG one? Designs are so cute, I've got my heart set on the Alphabet Pooh already but $266 is a heck of a lotta money!! I haven't even bought a high chair and shoes and pants and shorts yet! :'(

Gotta hand it to hubby for being extremely understanding and super cool about me going a little crazy and buying 24mth clothes when Ethan just turned 5 mths!

Just the other day, I was giving myself a shelling out loud for my impulsive buys, asking why why why do i buy buy buy now?? There'll be tons more nice clothes later on and what am I going to do then? Buy buy buy again?! Sweet hubby actually said it's ok, buy now AND buy later.. it's for our prince after all!

I think boys look very cute in rompers/playsuits and can probably still wear them even when they've started walking, at least that's what I plan to do for my son

I've also bought some tshirt+shorts and tank+shorts sets for him, all in larger sizes as I feel that it's cuter to wear them when he can walk. Walmart has got a cute selection at a cheap price, I bought 4 sets I think!

I've tried dressing my son up in a tshirt and jeans/khakis but I end up taking it off due to our ridiculous weather

For now, my son mostly wears bodysuits as it's comfy and very easy to change diapers. And sometimes paired with regular cotton pants for trips to the mall or supermarket, keeps him warm and also dresses up the outfit and makes baby look smarter

yes weather these days are a killer, just when i thought it was getting cool for year-end :S for budget sleeveless bodysuits, babymallonline is the way to go. material is thinner (but good for our weather) &amp; the cutting is small.

we beat the weather by dressing him in singlets. only $2 from the market!

boy in singlet and shorts - also $2. usually he just wears singlet with cloth nappies @ home.

another set. probably too airy for air con though.

gotta love painless shopping!

(btw their size is for 1 yr old LOL so very airy &amp; cool)

Ur bbb quite serious hahaha. I also luv to buy clothes and nvr really throw/give away them. Think we need to give away b4 we can stack /crowd our wardrobe. However i must say i usually wear the same old things, the rest of the clothes, i think it' just to satisfy my need to bbb or visual admiration. Maybe i shd start selling them on the WTS thread hahaha.

Many of the mummies here also buy clothes, shoes till 24m even though bb havn got the chance to use them. BB r so simple, they nvr ask for nice yummy food, clothes, toys but it is the parents who always make things so complicated like for xmas, wat shd we dress our ds/dd, what kind of shoes match wat kind of dressing etc etc. So jialat i must say. Then our wallet' holes r so many and big and we cry bbb (broke broke broke) as well hahahah. so ironical.

I m thankful that bb hasn learn to ask for things such as toys that i cannt afford but soon i must say

I get the singlets &amp; cotton shorts at my market here - Jurong West Street 91! Neighbourhood market. on weekends there are makeshift table stalls selling children clothes. my MIL discovered them!

i know the budget clothes design can be quite obiang. haven't really paid attention to girls clothes but i suspect they are quite cheena :S i think if u checkout these same type of stalls near ur street they'd have similar clothes.
