How come doc said c-sec? I thought normally they would recommend c-sec only because of health reasons or if baby is too big for mother? At 36 weeks, thought there is still time for baby's head to be engaged?

i tot usually if bb is in breech position, cant go for normal delivery rite? i guess tats y my gynae say be prepared to go for c section.
my main concern is recovery &amp; breastfeeding after the op... tik its goin to be tough.
hopefully bb will turn in this 1 or 2 weeks time

ladies, how do u all choose a PD for the baby?

my friend has recommended one, Olive tree baby &amp; kids clinic. the doc is experienced, does not use anti-biotic unnecessary and is not pro-vaccination* (a + point for me).

*i read an article that vaccination in US has been linked to causing autism in boys... so i am a bit wary and want to find out more first.

i used the PD recommended by my gynae for my #1. so far so good, i only visit her for all the jabs needed by my ger.
for normal colds &amp; cough, i visit normal GP.

pet, i read in a health mag. it cld be using of inferior vacc ingredients. some studies have linked the mercury content to the causation of autism.
havent come across any article online so far.

if your child never go childcare, take the jab after 1 year. 2 jabs only. But kim took at 8 mths. She completed 3 jabs. quite painful one leh the jab.

are u refering to MMR? MMR jab have chances of causing autism i think. i heard it somewhere also.

I quite lucky that i've a good PD beneath my block. Very near my hse just 5 mins walk. She very good at distracting babies and detail at her checkup most impt, she's patient. She will be my baby doc this time round. hehee..
Those who stay SK or would like to know this PD, can ask me for contact. Her patients quite alot.

my PD is Dr Yeo Kim Lian fr Kidz Clinic in Gleneagles Medical Centre. as i deliver in gleneagles so its easier &amp; more convenient for her to drop by. but i think its abit far for u.

chicken cannot eat cause scared infection on wound. Dun eat things like lady fingers etc also. My relative tell me cause have the sag or dunno what white color liquid liquid sticky substance.. in hokkien is "ni".. will have bad effect on ur skin.

jamie, thanks for the contact. it's further for me than the olive tree bb clinic (which is at forum). maybe other mummies can try.

aly, u can choose to have yr own PD too. yr preference. if u find one that u prefer or that's near yr place, the PD will have yr bb's health history from day 1. otherwise it can be a hassle if u go back to the PD assigned by the hospital or worse u dun like the PD.

My PD is Dr CHiang from CHiang Babies at Mt E! He is my hb's family PD..i.e. my hb and all bros were under him last time.. hahaha.. imagine how old he is now..but experience old guy and very nice too..

Aly.. try to arrange for a PD before u pop.. once u pop, the nurse will inform the PD and he will be there to see her and make sure she is steady pun pee pee..

I saw my bills.. my PD's fee for baby's bill is approx 600+...but my gynae's fee is 2k +! Hmm.. sob sob, burnt a hole liao..
