Thus, easier for me to persevere in TBF. If I like you, I think really give up long ago liao. Really admire those mummies who can persevere through all the pain.

You and Andrea left with the Heart Jumper Set in 18 months. Some of my items also OOS. End up my damage this time is ~S$75. But my HB said that is no reason to buy more stuff.

Thanks to all for all your kind response...i will try to talk my mil around. the problem is, it's always a ding-dong action (ok to my instructions for 2 days and she'll revert to her old ways 2 days later), so all these while bb will keep getting to eat 'salty food' from time to time.

Gar, I can't go gate crash your playdate liao cos hubby is sick.
Actually he's been sick since Wed but after finishing all his antibiotics, still sick so he went back to see GP. Already making him go to visit my friend who just delivered cos need to deliver present so must give chance and let him rest.
Jeannie, your resignation letter so cute. Me holding onto my breastfeeding career for now. Was thinking of quitting cos push factor was busy workload and kenna blocked duct (I counted, total of 7th times including this time!?!) but after seeing LC today at KKH, she reminded me the pull factors to keep my BF job (nutrients and antibodies which will not be destroyed even if most times she only gets heated EBM). She even brainwash my hubby and ask hubby to talk to ILs which hubby did. Told his parents BM is better, other people can BF until 2 years old, not true that BM is not nutritious after 6 mths. So my replacement (FM) has been laid off for now though position is still open should I retire. And, Baby RaeAnne is safe from my resignation. Hee.

bkkgal, the foot prints thing was my first big purchase for RaeAnne when she was 1 week old. Cost us $400+ bucks hor to do it professionally, my hubby nearly fainted. But as I just went through a difficult delivery and was still having pain, my hubby didn't dare to argue with me. Hee. That time, consoled hubby that at least I never do taimaobi that would have cost as much. Then end up we still did taomaobi but when she was 4 months plus plus a recent photo studio shoot. My hubby got conned, all these frivolous things cost us close to $1k liao. But I comfort myself, capturing such memories when she is young are priceless lor.
Jeannie, if we don't manage to meet then I go by post too lar. Just let me know how much to transfer.

i have 2 methods, one is boil the peas/carrots and then puree and freeze into cubes, when wanna eat, then throw the cube into porridge. another is to throw everything into porridge to boil inside the slow cooker. boil until very soft, no puree.

I din noe that the nutrients level will still stay .. i just have the feeling that i am not giving her enuff.. evident from her growth.. so thought might as well. Frankly speaking.. if i am latching.. i may last a bit longer.. but just pump alone.. and have to heat up milk.. sigh.. a bit tired liao.. I do feel a bit guilty but i think i have done fairly well ( i hope) at least the 1st 6 months (which is more important for her)i have fed her BM.. now.. time for me to have some ME and her time..

Jeannie, it's hard to miss a blocked duct cos will have hard painful lump, when it's bad, the breast is painful to touch. Even lifting your arm, it will be painful.
Yup, I also didn't know the nutrients level stay. I was also telling the LC, my gal has not been putting on weight lor and she doesn't drink a lot only 125-140 ml of EBM. Then she told me her own daughter bf her baby until 21 months. And each time she pump 4 times a day, each time at least 500ml, and her baby son was only drinking 70ml at 6 months. She said it's ok, as long as healthy and happy lor.

I definitely recommended PIS advanced if you want speed, best for people with low SS, 2 LCs recommended so far. Manual is good as back up but my arms will ache and fingers cramped lor cos must press very long unless you are the gushing supply type.
