Gar, not sure when I can collect from you also cos will be going to HK soon and this weekend very busy. By the way, I donated my bb stuff plus some household items to a colleague's aunty who was collecting for her church. She came to my house to collect. Sorry, couldn't wait to drop off at your side. Had 6 big bagfuls of stuff in the end, needed to clear space urgently. Guess I'll only have cash donation then.

bkkgal/nicole and qingling.. thanks.. at first when i saw the rashes i checked on the ent and it seems to be roseola... so i called my colleague who has told mne abt this b4.. and she said it might be measles.. i was so worried.. quickly rushed her down to c doc.. i think gwen was quite perplexed y mummy suddenly carried her, so worried and run down.
i was really very scared that it will be measles.. seen the doc and like what nicole said he also said that normally when rashes appear.. it represent the break of the fever.. so should be roseola.. At least her fever is gone.. so happy although it pains to see her body covered with spots..
i also asked from the doc some med to take for the hk trip.. scary.. hope she doesnt go thru all these again..

Talking about trips, can parents share their experience in bringing their babies abroad ? Was the flight very traumatic? We will be bringing baby to KL in January by air, heard turbulance for short haul is worst than long haul..Also did you guys bring Stroller/Sterilizer on trip? * headache just thinking about the bags we have to bring*

hehe, Gar, only 2 bags of baby stuff, the rest of the 4 bags are household items and clothes etc. lar. I clear stock at the same time. Going to retire my 2 sterilizers in 1-2 months and CNY coming soon, need to spring clean also. Better quickly clear space.

Was on course for that past few days. Wanted to tell you that roseola only have rash at the end of the fever. You didn't read the article I provided? Danica's PD was quite sure that she had roseola the other time so I read it up on the internet and was prepared for it when the rash appeared. If not, sure panic like you.
In fact Danica worse cause she doesn't like to drink water then got sore throat. Her voice was hoarse for 4 weeks. My HB said so husky and sexy. Xiao right?

When I travelled withbb she was 5mths. I latch her on take off n touch down. She was ok. Just that she cannot stand being in 1 place for more than 45 mins. I got the bassinet for her. I think she may not fit anymore.
didn't bring sterilizer just use hot water to rinse after pump. Also left stroller at home cos the city is not stroller friendly. In hotel they provided a cot.
I'm travelling again so this time will prob hv to bring solids, milk powder. Diapers will buy there. Hope bb can start to eat our food or else hv to bring so many tgs.

abt ruth...
she turned 9 months last week - same as ashlynn n kate! one day after that, she started crawling abit and twisting all over. she also FINALLY got up to sitting position on her own which is well, an exciting thing despite being quite a difficult diaper changing situation.
(bkk, she also keep doing downward dog....haha.)
Oh, and she has 2 incisors now. look like baby dracula cuz no front teeth. when she smiles widely can see. very funny.
she's kinda 'slim down' from her 5-6 months period. taking only about 3-4 milk feeds a day now (max. per feed only about 90-120ml). most other stuff all solids. eats everything like a garbage can. good but abit overwhelming cuz very hard to go out for dinner wif her unless we order something that's suitable for her.
end up either we all take turns walking her AWAY from the table so she doesn't keep lunging to the food/plates/bowls etc OR we feed her all the rubbish we eat.
but she's a good girl. sleeps about 9pm everyday. just coax awhile, give her milk and she sleeps all the way till 5/6am. wakes up for a feed and goes back to sleep till 7/8am. sometimes until 9am if i'm lucky.

Hi mummies,
my baby got infected with HFMD from his cousins !!
the incubation period was 6 days, last sunday they played together, then yesterday, the spots appeared.
All of us didn't know beforehand as my niece and nephew only showed symptoms on monday and tuesday.
We brought him to a gp on sat but gp diagnosed as not HFMD as there weren't fever only a few spots on hands and feet. But on sat night, he woke up crying pitifully and had spot on his buttocks and thighs. This morning, went to see PD and saw ulcers in his mouth.

the live view for 1000D is the same as that of compact digicam. i tried before. but once the live view is on, can't use the view finder to shoot vice versa. 450D should also have the same live view function right?

sounds like my boy, he also hardly wants to drink any milk, sigh! PD just told me that he should be taking about 600mls a day (up until they're about 2 years old), if less then should supplement with cheese or yoghurt... her teeth development is so fast! how many in total does she have now, 6?

yah same, can't use both view finder and live view at the same time. but mine also can't auto focus when using live view, but still more convenient than not having live view

Mummies, thanks for your conerns. Hope he recovers soon. He only drank 100ml of milk this morning at 4 am. (since 230pm yesterday, didn't want to eat or drink). Brought him to bb sitter and he was drinking milk at 730am and I secretly left, hopefully he finishes the milk ...

thread moving very slow last week...was super busy last week. over the weekend also cayleb seem to have diarrhoea, keep having loose stools from fri and sat night he had wattery stool during dinner time until it leaks out of his diaper and dirties his clothings...but he seems still quite active and no vomiting/fever so i'm just monitoring now. brought him to gp sat night, doc gave medicine to harden stool but i haven't give him coz want to see how things are first. yest he didn't poo at all but this morning again having loose stools. only thing is that he seems to be loosing his appetite, refuse to eat his porridge/fruits and taking less milk, think hardly taking 400ml. so just hoping that it will get better today. will still give him diluted milk and more water to replace the loss fluid. do you think i should bring him to see pd? only plan to bring him tom if he still having loose/watery stools..
