i didnt squeeze into the plane's lavatory with hubby lah, it's just me and Rylee cos the space is really really tight! The changing table is simply a fold-down board right atop the toilet. Hubby gotta stand outside to wait for me. But i rem back then i told Rylee to be guai-guai cos space very tight and she was very cooperative, even helped me hold onto the wet wipes and very obedient. Was quite surprised cos she is usually quite squirmy back then, she was just 8-9months old.

Actually for me, if i'm not getting an extra seat for Rylee, i wouldnt get the bassinet as well. For one, our toddlers are almost beyond the weight limit of the bassinet. And they wont sleep in the bassinet anyway. So i'd take the seats behind cos that way Rylee will be more or less "constraint" by the it, PLUS she can play with the pull down tray, and other knick knacks behind the seat. If i'm to take the bassinet seat, got extra space in front, sure climb up and down and want to run past u. For entertainment, i'd bring things for her to draw on, crayons or those "pen filled with water to colour" kind. I also brought a portable DVD player so she could watch her fav disc like Elmo/Barney cos the plane's entertainment sometimes not suitable for our toddlers or cannot keep her occupied. Also some of her fav snacks. That shud about tide u over for a 4hour Sg-HK flight

I was TTC for almost 4yrs for #1 so me & hb didn't think will strike #2 so soon (which is still within the 6 mths time frame after #1 delivery & pple said mummy is most fertile during this period). I guess rule of thumb is to relax & enjoy BD provided yr cycle is normal (regular)...if cycle is haywire also abit diff to track when u r most fertile/ovulation.

I have signed up for sat morning slots in Jan 2010. However still in their waiting list & they can only confirm in nov. I have also called to enquire weekday class & only slots is on thurs 2.30pm or 4.30pm at HDB hub only. I may switch to weekday class if my "plan" confirm next week.
So will you be joining the jan term or april term as understand that your EDD is Jan 2010. They dun allow us to join in after the term starts. Better for you to call them early & secure a seat in Apr with the timing that you prefer.

i am now actively looking for weekend enrichment classes/holiday programmes for weekends, JWT have. i dunno mygym have sat/sun classes or not? must ask grumpus. JG is too ex and long waiting list...wah dunno what to sign up for man. but definitely need to enroll my boy in something coz i can see he very bored nothing to do at home

I am still looking for a muscial enrichment trial class for my girl leh. Called up GK and they only have 2.30pm slot for 18 to 24 mths Rhythm in Me. Well, it sort of clashed with her PM nap. Then checked with Kindermusik, they have morning slots but all full liao. On waiting list... Sian... don't know when I can start my girl on classes.

u aware of Carpe Diem Playskool near yr mum's place? i just called them & spoke to one of the teacher in charge of tods group. The background was very noisy during our tele-con. For full day care is $295 after subsidy (non air-con enviroment). Ratio: 1 teacher to 6 tods. One thing i don't like, they don't have separate classroom for tods/N1/N2...all together but at one corner each...very messy le...tods cannot concentrate.

haha.. he woke up at 1230 crying lei. so bo bian. he keep pointing at the door want to go out. he had no choice but to switch on barney .... hahahaa..
sometimes he will slp halfway then wake up crying badly but looks like he still slping. then after crying for awhile he will wake up then cant get back to slp. does anyone of u face such problems?

i have the prob. some elders said he play too hiong in the daytime will have this prob. or played too hiong just before bedtime. so must always wind down before putting him to sleep.
at most nightmares lah. my boy very weird, he will cry and cry 1 hour before he wakes up in the morning...so once he started crying i will know he's gonna wake up soon. but seems like he cannot remembered he cried before juz now leh hahahaha

I dunno about sg but I went for a trial class in HK's JWT and I'm not impressed. I heard more good things about mygym in HK though. Programmes are better tailored for active kids. For jwt, they're like not very organized and every section is very short, hardly enuff time for the kids to warm up and get familiar of what they need to do and the section is over liao. Bt I cd be wrong and sg one maybe nicer? Actually tis is one of the reason I seldom post cos a lot of topics very local lah, I'm not in sg so sometimes feel like nothng to contribute.

I have attended many trials with my boy during weekend since he is 6 mths old. Wonder am i a hardworking or kiasu mum, haha??
Here's my feedback:
1) Baby Jumper Gym @ Bt Batok (Only branch) - I signed a full term when J is 9mths+. (Include flashcards & gym)
2) GraceKids @ GreatWorld
(J enjoyed this session. The activities are quite interesting, like playgroup) - Check out my blog.
3) LNT (Many branches all over s'pore)
(3 diff languages class, flashes cards & many activities but in very fast pace)
4) JG @ Evans Rd
(Similar to GraceKids except the teachers are very "DRAMATIC". Also more like playgroup.)
5) Kindermusik
(This was long ago when our babies were only 6mths) - Too young to determine whether they like it or not.
6) Aqua Duck - Swimming
Very fun but long waiting list. Some mummies commented that never hear from them until now.
7) S&S (The one that we went recently)
The cheapest paid trial but not professional enuff. Totally NO NO.

Actually take-off is still ok, my boy usually have problems with the descend. For take-off, I will let him suck on pacifier or drink water. He will point to his ears to tell me it's blocked and I'll ask him to swallow his saliva to pop his ears
. But for descend, somehow it hurts their ears more and he'll start crying when the pain gets unbearable. Must bluff him to munch on some snacks and drink water. If all else fails, he will cry for a while lor...
