Aqua, ya lor, but my hubby was happy with the initial plan which is to be weekend parents and only bring my gal back on Fri night cos his parents offered to look after when RaeAnne was a baby. I was the one who cannot bear the idea of my gal sleeping in another house without me plus I was BF. So, I told him let's bring her back for 2 weeks and try it out. If really cannot cope, then we go back to plan A. Luckily, my hubby is supportive (despite his severe lack of sleep) so we never looked back since.
SAHM also luckily my hubby supportive lar. We talked about it b4 getting married but he can also object cos he'll be sole breadwinner mah. Recently, I met another friend who is preggie and also delivering in Dec. She's married for almost 8 years liao and didn't want any kids initially. When her hubby found out that I'm no longer working, he said to my husband, "wa, you made it already lar." Then my hubby replied, "no lar, I haven't made it yet but she's already not working." Her hubby was an insurance agent, then jumped to Citibank, now working at another bank. I'm very sure his pay is higher than my hubby's but it's a matter of whether you will feel comfortable in terms of lesser savings, luxuries and nest egg lor. ;P
