Kam: am not in OZ, in HCMC now. ;-) Count down to go back to sg to clear my stuff as much as possible then head off to OZ within a week. I dont know why I have so much energy to travel this time and now am getting fed up with traveling.
My #2 is a girl. But so funny, nobody believes that am carrying another girl- all my family members are saying they are waiting for the day my #2 arrives, coz they all guess it's a boy. So funny when they look at my tummy and all other symptoms and concludes like they are my dr. Even I met strangers in the street, they will tell me the same. Hahha. But for me and hubby, we know we are having another baby girl. ;-)

Hahha, Johanna is the same as HR, she will know where to throw what. ;-) Looks at them doing all these, I can't help but smile happily inside. ;-)
My girl also tries to wear shocks/shoes for my hubby and myself whenever we go out. Sometimes when she is bored at home, she will "initiate" to bring shoes for us and says" open door"- means to go out. ;-) LOL

My #1 primary school sent us a later stating the orientation is on 21 Nov and her class is already pre-determined ! and apparently she is in the last class wor 1/6

I called the school to ask how do they determine the class for each child she says it's decided by the principal de. I'm suprpise there is no assessment given to the children to determine where do they stand and group them into the same category like what other primary schools did leh.

And I was told there is no exam for P1 & P2 too. Streaming and exam will only be done on P3 wor. Some pri schools r still giving exam for P1 & 2 leh cos my coll took leave ytday to coach her P1 for exam today leh.... so puzzled in our education system.

Chaye, if the teacher manages the kids well, should be ok. There is a little Indian boy in her class who just turned 3 years old (my neighbour in fact). He's very expressive and friendly but very rough in his actions. He tends to pull his classmate towards him if he wants to to hug or kiss them. If he wants to sayang them, he will end up hitting them. The teacher said he's like that cos his mummy/maid also treats him very roughly so she has to keep reminding him to be gentle towards other kids. My gal doesn't like him although we stay at the same floor.

Blessedbaby, RaeAnne loves to throw things, take tissue, wipe floor, wipe table for us too. She can identify our shoes and will point and take our shoes for us when we are going out. Once I washed my Crocs Audrey but the ribbon is not dry so I wore another pair of shoes. She keeps pointing at my Crocs and said Mummy Mummy asking me to wear that pair of shoes. So, now I've a little maid and a real maid at home. haha.

Jess, I'll let my gal in with me if she's fussing. Never mind since gal gal mah. Only problem is she'll pull the toilet paper and try to wipe for me. Duh...

By the way, do you happen to have 1 pregnancy test strip to sell to me? My maid complain that her menses never come for 2 months liao. She started work on 5 Aug, according to her, her menses came on 15 Aug but never come for 15 sept or 15 Oct. I scared that by any chance she might be pregnant cos don't know when she ovulate and whether she did anything with her hubby before coming over to Sg. So, just want to buy 1 cheap test strip and ask her to test.

krystle: am also trying to sell my furniture coz we are now moving to OZ for long term. Anyone here interested to buy my 4 doors wardrobe from IKEA? I am selling cheaply and it's in VERY good condition like brand new. ;-)
I also want to send all bb stuffs over but hubby told me to sell it off coz he also wants my #2 to use new toys/ etc too. But the trouble is i already packed into the box and sent with him last trip. Hahaha
So now he only see me keeping some bulky items and asked me to sell them off thats why I need to head back to singapore and clear it off asap.

Anyone here knows anyone who buys used furniture can pass me the contact pls? Thanks in advance.

Pauline: my girl do that to me too. When I sit on toilet bowl, she will pull of the toilet paper from the door and give to me. This morning, she even went into toilet and point to me where to wipe.

wearing shoes,
my girl could wear her own shoes for quite some time already but always wear wrong side. recently i got her some pins for her shoes, pooh for one side and piglet for the other side. then i keep repeating to her pooh is for right foot, piglet is for left foot.
now she doesn't get them mixed up anymore =)

nowadays i even have my shower with her in the toilet with me.

Steph, is $51 for Friso3 1.8kg considered cheap? Aiyoh, last time only $30+ for 1.8kg leh. Still feel very heart pain to pay this kind of price for FM.

By the way, did you submit any entries for the friso photo contest? You got high chance leh since Zander and Rayden both loyal Friso supporters.

$51 not considered very cheap but bo bian need to replenish stock as current stock will last till end of year, me KS la
Last promo of old formula Friso3 was abt $46+ for 3x900g very cheap but now you will not find such prices anymore. The Friso staff was there at clementi checking stock so we happened to ask her if there will be promo for Friso 2 or 3 coming month/s...she said NO cos new P2 formula already on promo now (Friso2 - $28/900g, Friso3-$46/1.8kg) Their current stock for bundle set Friso3 [1.8kg (exp2011)+ 20pkts sachets (exp May2010)] is while stock last! She also mentioned that Friso did not increased price for the past 2 years so now it's reasonable for the steep price increase. She asked us to compare the prices of others like (similac, dumex, Enfa etc) much more ex than Friso even after they've adjusted their price increase.

Friso got photo contest? Are u referring to PICME contest? I did sent in one entry only for PICME but purchase must be made in guardian pharmacy for any friso products. So far, no news from them le...cos i only sent in one entry...unless very heng

It's called "Sanp up great Family Nutrition and Wind!" 10 prizes in total - either $3k travel voucher/book voucher/home electronics/groceries voucher. I am considering to switch from Friso 3 after I deplete my stocks. Coz I totally hate new Friso 3 packaging. It is not air-tight at all after you open it! Once I got ants crawling into the tin and I got to throw away a good 1/2 tin! So wasted. Felt like feedback to Friso and asked them to give me back the old traditional tin. Then don't you find the scope is 1/2 the size smaller? I got to scope more times if using that. I had no choice but to recycle the old scope.

krystle, i agree. the new scoop so small n the new container is nt tight. mine also got ants, but i onli buy one tin to see wat the diff.
one u opened the tin, u trf the milk poweder to locknlock or tupperware, more fresh n can keep longer

i still prf the old friso formula n packaging. more value for $$$....haha

I don't think they will compensate me with a BN old tin since already EOL (end of life)... I don't like big tins (1.8kg type) coz don't want to keep the powder open for so long. Especially now my girl is drinking lesser milk...

I think Friso will cos some mummies in forum feedback that their new formula got alot of bubbles after adding warm water to it. They exchange with a BN tin w/o question! If many mummies were to feedback abt the air-tight issue, i think sooner or later they might do something to improve the design(cap) bah. For the 1.8kg hor, my FIL will divide the FM into the 900g tin (one for PIL hse usage while another tin for my own hse) In this case, wont scare the big tin open for so long
