coz my mil makes not so spicy curry, X is ok with it leh. we just gave him some of the curry "zhap" plus the chicken meat and the cabbage.
fyi, it wasnt a meal for him lah, my maid cook seperate. curry for him to try nia

oh btw, my boy likes strawberries very very much

Krystle, my son was born 3.33kg. maybe he is big, so the doc vacuumed him out cuz he said I pushed not hard enuff

Grumpus, so far I gave him outside food which is cooked naturally without msg, but with sea salt or olive/better oil. To me the food is very tasty, and my son also enjoys it a lot. But I hope he will continue to eat his home cooked meal as long as possible la. My brother doesn?t like my mum?s cooking at all and always buy fast food his own. Very fussy. Because my dad exposed him to fast food then he started to reject my mum?s cooking liao :p

tongtong,
just curious, before you pregnant with your boy, were u very slim to start with? cos i saw pix of u from Kam's FB & can see u very slim.

oh.. so it's normal ya ? I tot only mine is lidat cos my #1 not like tat one... my #1 gal very gentle eater de kekeke

aiyo.. so envy leh.. all your kids can eat so much liao ! Mine can only try try cos not enuf teeth to chew ! HAHA

Steph, yea I?m slim but not as slim :p I slimmed down a lot due to breastfeeding, and very tired taking care of my naughty boy. Used to be about 45kg, think the slimmest period was about 41 kg nia.. preggie time I?m also slim wor, maybe I petite ba

tongtong,
That's what I thought, I saw your hubby's DSLR that day. So he wants to buy another one??

Pixie,
You no longer ixus's fan already? Which brand you are looking at?

Tongtong, you were saying yesterday that Shaun is eating a lot recently, right. My boy is opposite, he didn't like to eat recently, luckily still drinks quite a lot of milk. He didn't reject food totally, but usually only eat a little bit, esp come to meal time. Still ok with fruits. To me, it's so much easier if my boy is willing to eat than not to eat. Luckily Hao Re still has a lot of fat (on his very big tummy) to be burnt off :p When they want to eat, just let them eat, and they will change when they have enough. Much more headache when they don't want to eat.

Steph,
Looks like a great trip you have at Sentosa. But you brought Zander along, so got chance to "make" #3 or not :p
My little 2+ week old princess already drinking 120ml milk :)

My boy is really tired these days running around in the house. Already slept for 3 hours, and still sleeping. Go and wake him up now.

chaye,
actually dun need a lot of teeth then can eat mah....as long as it's not too hard or chewy lah..
my girl started eating rice at 8 mths lei, got few teeth only but eat rice liao

cheryl,
hehe my girl loves noodles! noodles only she eat super fast...

Kam, yea he wanted to get another one. He might get a second hand one too, he wanna upgrade la. He likes photography and he took so many photos yet no ntime to dl for me to put on my blog!! Ok I admit that I?m lazy to do the dl also la hehe

Kam, my friend told me not to give so much food to kid cuz they do not how to control and scared later for digestion problem. So I also dunno how leh? To give or not to give?

Grumpus, my son likes noodle too. Actually he likes all la.

kam
canon lor. i canon fan

chaye
my boy oredi took rice at 8mths too coz he took porridge at 5mth+

tongtong
my boy dont like noodles/bee hoon we cooked at home. he likes economic bee hoon outside tho

icy, Fern,

Not too sure what's the age limit but I think there's a weight and height limit. That time my daughter's legs already out of the bassinet but we just let her sleep inside la. Looks quite comfortable. And of course, a rest for our poor legs! :p

re:Food
I still try to bring home cooked food out but of course, my daughter wants to try EVERYTHING we eat so we let her eat some. She loves Fries! everytime will say, "More More". Hehe

Pixie, wah 5 months eat porridge so early? I only give cereal at 6 months. Porridge is later ..as I have said, outside meehoon got msg. Kids know the difference and they know how to choose lor.

they are very smart now. i feel that once we expose them to outside food... they dun really want their own food anymore. haha.. so since i have exposed Javier to outside food, when we go out, i seldom bring porridge. Only bring cereal for back up. he will just eat wat we eat
happy.gif

chaye,
my girl only ate porridge from 6mths+ to 8mths. After that she reject porridge so give rice and potato lor.
Even until now she refuse to eat porridge, even when she's sick or wat i try to make porridge for her she die die won't eat.
i guess she hates mushy food bah

Jess,
Yeah I agree with you. That's why I sort of restrict what my girl eats outside. Outside food taste so much better, with all the additional salt and sugar or msg! Luckily she still eats the food that has been prepared for her.

Mc Fluffy,

Thanks! That would be good for ELias.. I think his legs maybe daggling out too.. And for 45 min trip. NOt sure if he is going nap a not in the first place hahaha

Food.
Elias only trued two things KFC pototos without gravey, CHicken rice the rice and glutiniuous rice. And nothing else.. Pathetic hor? hahah and also this one dollar waffle that sells at bakery shop that he loves!

Fern,

u can check the latest jetstar price online. I think for adults, I paid for about $80 per person. infant more exp...$100+ if i am not wrong.

Re: food
I gave Javier white rice cereal at 4 mths and start porridge at 5-6 mths. Javier will reject his own home cooked food once he sees other food stuff on the dinning table when we are outside. so we got to feed him his porridge b4 leaving the house and let him eat abit of the outside food. he is a greedy boy...he will cry out loud if he cant eat the food he sees outside.

Actually, every kid's eating habits is so different. For me, as long she eats, it is ok for me. There was a period of time my girl totally refused to eat home cooked food. Later we found out that actually she hated being seated in the high chair. So we had no choice but to put her on adult chair and now she started eating all food again (home cooked or outside). But since our kids are going to turn 2 soon, outside food is inevitable bah...

morning mummies!

It's both good and bad news for me- nanny asked whether my mum can take care of my son in oct till middle of november because her daughter wants to study for O level. My son is very noisy and playful at home so she couldn?t concentrate on her studies. Good news is that the nanny gets a break and I get a break too. Bad is I have to send him to KL. So will be weekend parent again.

Pixie, haha you very cute la. It?s just for 1.5 months and I will still travel back to KL either every weekend (if can), or if not once every 2 weekends. Mum asked me whether my boy is ok since he is so clingy. I told her bobian lor, if he keeps crying try to pacify or distract him. Think should be alright.

steph, yaya pls add me. I forgot what my fb name is - either angie or guazi. as for travelling back to KL hor, last time i took night train from JB on friday night, reach KL saturday 630am, then sunday night took 10pm train back to SG, reach SG 730 am and go to office straight. Kinda used to it liao hehe. i think still ok leh not very tiring. seems to be more tiring to take care of him in SG LOL. Oh yea you are right, think my hubby will be happy since can have more couplehood time, you know what i mean LOL. but at the same time he bu4 she3 de2 the son lor.

Hi moms,
Sorry I kaypoh ah. The age limit for bassinet use is 2 years and weight limit 18 kg. It may vary from airline to airline so do check before you travel. I'm from the Feb 08 thread and just travelled with my 18 mth old. Her legs were long but she seemed to enjoy curling up in the bassinet. Also during mealtimes, we were able to sit her there to draw and colour while we ate.
