Yes! My bro is younger by 10 yrs old and my sil is younger than my hb by 17 yrs old. Honestly watching these 90s teenagers behavior and their way they think, I can't stand it. Also have generation gap with them already.

all my coll who tried KOI said very nice, die die must try wor...made me so tempting. I can't really drink cold drinks or tea else menses will have cramp or come alot le.
 
icy, my bro is 11 yr younger than me, but we r quite close coz i used to look after him when he was baby.

but my sisters younger than me 5 yrs, i wasnt close at all... so sad

Anyone knows if it takes a long time to walk from the main road (ie Holland Rd) to GoGoBambini? Can't really tell from the map leh.

I'm still undecided about joining Play Dates trial. It seems interesting but my boy starting daily playgroup next year and I might be starting my yoga classes on sat mornings again so clash in timing. But do give some feedback after you've attended the trial ok.

I just finished baking 2 batches of muffins for a gathering tomorrow. But I overfilled the muffin cups and all of them "erupted" like volcanoes...look so ugly

yea will "reconcile". When she was ranting her comments, she was actually talking in loud voice, not shouting to anyone but facing me cos i was in the kitchen with her at that time but i assume everyone (incl my hb & my FIL) can hear her from the living room. She was sort of complaining rather than against me. That day i wasn't feeling too well to think about her crude comments until this morning (pms). I will still respect her cos afterall she has done alot for her grandson.

Steph, kam, I was on the MRT when I logged into the forum la. Yea shopping finished liao, fast hor, haha. Cuz wanna go back to cook and rest ma. Steph, the ginger biscuit ok la, got ginger flavour. KOI quite popular and nice!

Talking about trial, i went to Mygym last Sunday. Guess what, I ended up signing shaun up for the gym!!

ok, got to go entertain my boy liao...

Went to see Thomson LC today. They spent 2 hours on me. Good news is my baby is latching well and my supply is good. She drank 75ml when latched on (they actually weigh bb before and after latching each side), I'm impressed. After that, she helped me massage and ask me to pump, and I pumped out about 25ml.

Bad news is I have breast 'congestion' due to leftover lumps from no. 1 so she said that I'll need to visit them once every few months to clear. Sigh. At least she helped to clear as much as possible and she also taught hubby how to massage for me.

Only paid $50+, very cheap considering the amount of time she spent on me.

Did gynae check and Raelynn went for PD check today. Luckily jaundice under control though still need to sun for 3 more days. We did her birth cert today too. Her name is 张旗庭 Raelynn Teo Kay Tin.

Kam, I saw Chen Li Qin and she was good, better than another LC I saw in the ward. That one just dismisses my complaints, only gave general advice. :p

Blackbatz, no lor. Today because we were out for so long. End up bb feeding schedule haywire and she drank milk later than usual and clash with RaeAnne's bedtime. End up RaeAnne refuse to sleep after her milk cos I was BF mei mei. Hubby also cannot put her to bed. Only managed to put RaeAnne to bed at midnight after she pooed at 11+pm and drink another bottle of milk. Hubby said she's refusing to go to school in the morning. :p

Children under stress

Came across this article in Young Parents magazine, about how stressful the kids are nowadays. There was this boy who didn't do well in his Chinese, so his parents signed him up for extra tuition classes. He was so burnt out, but his parents didn't realise it. This is part of what he wrote in his English essay - "a burglar broke in to our house. He killed my mum and dumped her body in the closet". It shocked the teacher and only then the parents realised how stressful the child was.

Very sad hor. It's almost doubled the figure for children seeking mental consultation/treatment at the IMH comparing year 2007 and year 2009, all thanks to the "kiasuness" of today's parent.

he say he will be more committed so let him be lar.
 
hahaha my hubby make me angry today ... yesterday I took out 1st batch of clothes being washed out and i put it in the laundry bag usually my hubby will hang it. then i washed the 2nd batch. Today woke up I asked why u didn't keep baby's clothing down since u are hanging up the washed clothing he say he did, he throw into the laundry bag which contain the 1st batch of washed clothing =_="

btw, yest, my sil (my hb's sis) scold me:
i was oredi out, but my boy wanted to follow me. so i let him wear shoes, while my another sil helped to carry him and say byebye to me in the corridor...but i smell him full of poo, so i went to the kitchen windows and ask my mil who was in the kitchen to help him change his diapers later when she's free.
my that crazy sil, who was also in the kitchen eating, shouted at me "why dont you change him yourself?? hes your son you know"....
what to do? i LL open the door again, ask my boy to take off shoes, rushed into the room to change him. super late liao lor. appt is 6.30pm but it was oredi 6.15pm...and i got to travel from je to sbwng...sianzzzz
then my mil quickly came in. she (typically being kiasi) kept saying her hands dirty cant come over immediately. i told her very sweetly that i didnt say to change his diapers now, but only when you are free. furthermore, i oredi went off liao but realised x poo-ed just before i walked off. she then say "oh you mean you went off liao?"...lame.....
siao one leh...kena scolded for nothing. my another sil told her hb, her hb asked my hb what happened. but i told my hb abt it liao, he just act blur lor. coz i told him dont confront his sis. he very angry with her oso
