honestly i never tot of this solution. makes me re-think how to cope with menses. i actually have a ball of cloth undies in my bag whenever im out just in case i kena menses.
reason being i wear tongs all the time, cannot stick pad so must switch to granny undies so must have 1 on standby

wear tampon at night lor. don't need to be afraid of "wetting" bed. last time i also like you all, will put something plastic beneath when sleeping coz I always "wet" the bed. Every night sleep in one position only, waking up with a stiff body. Really hate it. Then i found out the wonders of tampon! love it man. no sticky, wet feeling, even at night. can rolll all i want.

If face turn pale, quite serious. Must consult gynae. Last time when I delivered #1, one of the patient also had a similar problem until blood loss became too serious and she went into shock. Doc had to perform emergency op on her.

Saw u r talking abt sleeping thr for ur #2. Just wanna share that my #2 can sleep thr from 2 mths old onwards. She sleep from 12 to 5 am and gradually it became 12 to 6pm and now she can sleep from 9pm to 7am at 4.5mths old. The 5-10mins sucking that u mentioned is more like comfort sucking. I m already feeding my #2 150ml Ebm at 3hr interval When she is 2mths old & abt 7-8 feeds per day. Then her weight starts to increase. Mayb u can increase your #2 qty & c if he does finish it?
Saw u r talking abt sleeping thr for ur #2. Just wanna share that my #2 can sleep thr from 2 mths old onwards. She sleep from 12 to 5 am and gradually it became 12 to 6pm and now she can sleep from 9pm to 7am at 4.5mths old. The 5-10mins sucking that u mentioned is more like comfort sucking. Wah, your baby so good! But if you don't do midnight feed, you have to wake up to pump? Or your boobs have already adjusted to not produce milk at night? I also give her pacifier, but she doesn't like pacifier that much. Sometimes so wants, sometimes she doesn't.
Ok. Maybe I shall try not to offer her my breast when she wakes up in the midnight. Actually my hubby offered to sleep with baby in another room, so I can sleep better. Maybe I should consider this.
150ml at 2 months is a lot leh! That day I went to consult the Lactation specialist, Wong BB said baby at 2 months should drink at least 120ml but she didn't say max how much. But this is for BM though, don't know if it's true for FM.
