i would prefer hb not ard coz i can do whatever i want with x. suddenly wanna go mall and walk, just GO. else my hb will say "why go out?", or "got haze" etc all sorts of rubbish excuses.
but you different hor? got 2 kids so cannot compare like that.
when i think about my mom i think about mummies like you. my mom takes care of my sis's newborn, she cooks, do housework, look after my old lovely dog, and do housework for the tenants oso leh!

Been so busy until I only have 5 hours of sleep everyday. Really have panda eyes now. All planning for hols..I'm also looking forward to mine in Bali but alas, no shopping paradise there..

Fully toilet trained my Zachy. Now, night time also no pampers. The first week without diapers was disaster..His "poo poo" can mean pass motion and pass urine. There was a couple of times when he pooed on his pants and floor..

I bought the same Osborne books from my little bookshop. Bought 1 first. Like the illustrations so much, went to get another to form the whole collection. It is heavy because the cover is soft padded hardcover, not the paperback.

Kekeke, just done my long-overdue retail therapy @ JP. Shiok shiok, spent money like nobody's business. Bought a new black dress for my colleague's wedding next mth (coz too fat to fit into my old dresses), a sweet pink hairband, 4 sets of clothes for my girl, 1 set of romper & 6 pairs of socks for my boy and 1 Jap drama DVD for myself. Hahaha.. Feeling so satisfied.

Blackbatz, good for you, I gave up the first day when I tried when she first peed then pooed within 15 mins (after I put her on potty and nothing came out) onto her training pants (I had only 2 pairs).
After that, decided if I want to train, I should either get more training pants or wait until after her first poo job of the day then take out her diapers. If not, very messy.
Oh, so does Zach like the Usborne books? I'm waiting for delivery, hope RaeAnne likes it. I got 2 kumon workbooks recently too. The colouring one and the stick and paste one, like it that it's interactive but find the 'sample completed picture' a bit small.
After that, decided if I want to train, I should either get more training pants or wait until after her first poo job of the day then take out her diapers. If not, very messy.

My mum told me initial stage must try every half an hour and let them get used to the idea of peeing into potty or what. Usually first one to two weeks, the place will be very messy.
After 3 or 4 days of continuous trying, Zach got used to the idea of going to the toilet. He will run to my dad and tell him when he needs to go to the toilet. By the end of the first week, he refused to wear diaper even at night.

Hao Re knows how to pee in the toilet when I ask him to. But I haven't been working hard enough to bring him to toilet frequently. And now he is going back to cc, hope his teachers will continue this with him. And he tells us AFTER he poos, not before The only reason that I hope he can be toilet trained asap is so I can save $$ on his XXL diapers
BTW, saw a newspaper article at Dr Keoy's clinic. A study conducted on a few hundreds of US family showed that there is no clear "benefits" to start toilet training for toddlers earlier than 27 months old.

i tried that leh, every half hr let him use potty. diaper-less
but he die die oso dont want to sit on the potty, he will struggle and cry. in the end put diapers back on him for nap times liao he will pee/poo into it. he literally LUN his urine or poo leh

i also dunno hw to potty trained her... she onli tell us she pee and poo after she is DONE!. if i bring her to her potty before she pee, she actualli canhold n refuse to pee. once i put bac her diaper, she immediately pee on it! sighs.. make myself v frustrated and mad!

Blackbatz, that's what my MIL said too. So, we let her go toilet first thing she wake up (nothing), then put on training pants, 30mins go toilet (nothing) again, then 5 mins later, she wee wee. Change training pants, 10 mins later, she poo poo. After that, I gave up cos no more training pants liao.

Sorry, chaye, poor memory lar and too lazy to search the archives. The set is uually cheaper so worth it lar.
I'm still comtemplating whether to buy the divided plates but Tangs too far away for me.

yah, all jiu ji (small seeds kind) and some are NO SEEDS kind. the uncle very good give us free pomelo. maybe clear stock since mooncake fest over liao haha. mummies stay east side can go there eat. after that we so full liao but we pop by opp eatery and drink the fish maw soup. very famous one leh and its the bar chor mee + fish maw soup. the boss come out n tok to us, say his soup no msg, use scallop and all kinds of fish + fish maw + beef tendon to make this collagen rich soup.

should take more of this when i ever have #2 so that my stretchmarks can settle back faster

i forgot where liao but my fren says near still road and the stall is called wonderful aka wang de fu

btw, even i drank plain soup right, its very very rich. you can taste the dried fish, the scallop.

I started the toilet training because his diaper was dry most of the time, so I felt that he could restart toilet training.
Initially, he resisted sitting on the potty. So I gave him all the children's books/board books/toys to keep him occupied. Then it became a norm for him to read and poo.. He has a "toilet" book by Karen Katz which he liked. Then I also sat together with him till he is done with his business.
