Hey any of your babies got bad diaper rash before? Matt just came down with bad diaper rash. Now his butt area is red and patchy. Even got a bit of open flesh. It's been a few days already. Really worried. Applied the Desitin Creamy. But not sure if cos we dun air his butt cos he is wearing too much clothes. Last night, i just let him wear his diaper (ie no pants) and tuck him in my blankets...

Thanks for all the suggestion. Sigh. Matt still poos 2-3 times a day. So u can imagine the poor butt have to be cleaned up so many times a day. That's also why we cant really let him wear cloth diapers. And it's still quite cold, even though the temperature is going up. But around 5-10 deg, I cant let him run with just diapers. even with heater on at home, it's still a bit chilly.

Cindy: Yes, changing diaper for him is a painful moment. Always cries the moment I put him down, cos he realise it. Then when cleaning him, he keeps kicking. I also hope it will get better. So this morning, after he poo, we just let him run a bit with no diaper and just a loose pants. Hope it will get better too. Else I booked an appt with my PD for tomorrow morning

I still think this is better than shave, it does make a difference. They will use the white chocolate kind of wax that is less painful and you just have to top up a few extra bucks.... as for first timer, i think they have some pain relief cream
Call Strip to check it out, most importantly they have good hygiene, i.e. clean!

Cindy: Prob within a few months. I did it at Strip at Wheelock Place. The lady that did for me was very experienced. Kept chatting with me to keep me distracted. I went to her cos she was recommended on the forum. So i will prob go back to her again. Forgot her name though. Hope they kept my card at Strip haha...

My hubby attended the class with her most of the time. She's actually ok for the initial part, towards the end, she abit sian, then will run round the class. Her papa can control her better. We think can continue for another term and see how it goes. Are you doing any home practise with her? I'm attending the home practise session on the 11th Feb at Springleaf. weishy - the reason why we say to start in May'09 is because our todds turn 18 months that month and the Bilingual Play Club is for 18months to 3.5 years old chiildren. I am going down this weekend to check out the place and also to ask when is the next term starting, if they can form a class just for us

poor Matt - broken skin must be really painful! ZY was prescribed this Zaricort when she had some redness around her anus area (but PD says its not diaper rash yet) due to diarrhoea. (cos poo acidic mah) Not sure if it can be used on broken skin, better to consult a doc. Her poos were so messy and frequent that we resort to traditional method of changing her in the washroom, using only water and hand! (but for girl, has to watch out for the vaginal area which we will still use wipe to clean)

Ueno, dun tink Matt's teething. he only has 8 teeth (4 top and 4 bottom) and doesnt appear that the rest are coming out. Ya been changing his diaper more often. But he's been poo pooing 2-3 times a day since birth, so dun tink there is anything particular.
