I m so tired man... Been thinking of taking no pay leave for 1 mth and travel to UK with Claire to London to visit my younger sis. But, not possible in my co and also if i resign... Also might not be able to find a job when i m back.

Yes I still sterlize all his bottles and cutleries. When should we stop doing this? Any idea mummies?
 
ASHM, my co dun allow no pay leave unless the reason is very valid... especially for my boss, its even tougher.

I stopped sterilising the bottles when Claire is 6 mths old... But i will sterilise it when i think the bottles are too dirty.

i thk my co is HOPING some folks will 'go' on their own accord... now they start to implement NPL on mthly basis. heard fr my colig ystdy next mth will be 4-day work week! wah piangz, that means outright 20% pay cut leh...*sob* *sob*

i still sterilize my gal's bottles - coz lazy wana keep the sterilizer and in 2.5 mths' time, i'll pop again. so no point keeping it away for now. hehe...

re:croc
i got a fake red croc for C but is one size too big. and lately C hates wearing shoes. GAH!! she prefers to go bare-footed. maybe will bring her to the sandbox or beach, let her feel sand on her feet then she'll probably prefers to wear socks/shoes! ahaha...

K@ye - Not very reasonable.... why dont you come up with a good reason then. They should be glad you are taking no pay since the economy is not good now = cut costs.

Kuddles - I think i will stop doing it when Ash is 3 years old. At least all the injections / boosters would be completed by then and their resistance is stronger. I know its good to introduce some "dirt" to them at times, cannot be too clean..

Kitty, my co already freezed headcount. So, i m not worried that my workstation will disappear after the NPL.

I been wanting to leave the co but i stayed on coz of the bonus... Now, wanted to leave but cannot coz tougher to find a job. I m thankful that i still hv a job... but i find that i hv lesser and lesser time for Claire.

weishy - its the nanny who does all the sterlising...keekeekee... Ok i think i am quite a clean freak, so thats why I want the nanny to even sterlise the steamer every month just to make sure it is clean

Weishy - U stopped sterilising so early.

Luckily now she is now on solid food, so not so much bottles to sterilize as before. Actually intend to stop after Chinese New Year. Will see about it. Hee..Hee..
 
Kuddles, yup... Working later and later these days.. My co major screw up and now the head office wants a lot of adhoc reporting that is killing the whole dept.

Me also dilemma lah... Mabbe shd just quit my job and be a sales girl....

thk if u serious, just take a break then find another less stressful environment lor.

but u in a/c rite? hard not to feel the 'stress' every mth end/beginning leh...
actually hor, my co got opening leh... but must warn u, not easy one lor, equally stressful type plus the FC super fierce type. :D
 
K@ye: Understand where u coming from as I was in this kind of enviroment before. Everyday work till very late about 8-9pm. When u go back early, they thought u so free and give u more work. Feedback also no use as they will say everyone is now in the same situation. Still remember that time so stress out as I was preparing for my wedding...
If u are sure getting your bonus soon, then wait for it then go.

Weishy: My bb also using straw bottles for drinking water. U mean u use milk bottles for milk?

Kuddles, heng my co culture not so bad. Everyone goes home on time, just that with the recent economy situation. The head office dunno up to what stunts, gave us alot of extra reporting... Not to mention, my boss in order to justify her existence will implement unnecessary extra work on the whope dept!
 
K@ye, think pressure is everywhere now due this downturn. At least yours is not tat bad compare to my previous job. Find a job first than go if u can tahan. Make weekend your precious time with Claire.

I also love to buy crocs for my kiddos..cos its so easy to take care and clean when its dirty. as for the danger at the escalator..really got to be careful though. hope i dun get caught in this situation.

recently jus gotten another pair of Alica crocs for Lil M. the small sizes are jus too cute...

GRace, i think i was the one who told u abt the shipping charges...i paid $11+ for my crocs..cos they came in boxes...the previous spree i joined, shipping only a few bucks..so thats a lot of diff lor. but still..cheaper than buying here. i would say the recent expo sale was the best buy..regret didnt buy more.

Cindy, actually when crocs jus started to launch locally, only the basic design i also felt that it was the worst looking shoes around.i also swore that i wont buy CROCS! hahaha. until i bought the fake one to try cos its cheap, it wasnt that bad. then the more feminine design came out i bought the real crocs and nvr looked bk. so ya...there is a possibility u all will eat bk ur words! hahahaa

u must take care too woh! you still carry your gal? did u have a caesarean cut too? i'm just afraid it will split or have infection cos when was at the hosp, there was this lady who was bac there cos her cut split/had infection. *shiver* but rest well too, pray yr back will get better!

i don't sterilize her bottles anymore though. her food bowls and all that is washed the same as our stuff so didn't think we need to sterilize. sometimes i do rinse with hot water though.

Strollers - Mummies, need your feedback which stroller can be lie flat when sleeping and long / big enough. Ash seems to outgrow his current one and the way he sleeps is kindda of not comfortable. Something light? Thanks!

weishy - white hair - you can col it even though you are pregnant now. Ask for ammonia free col and some salons have it. I did it when i was pregnant with Ash.....

ASHM, ooh paris, I love the freshly baked crossonts and duck confit- u cant find that in spore!!! Enjoy urself. As for stroller the only one so far that can lie quite flat and big is Maclaren XT which I'm using but its not exactly lightwt. I find most lightwt don't have the lie flat function.

MM, ya... I think when Crocs first launched, they only have the basic design which is YUCKS YUCKS YUCKS!!! Now, they hv more design and even proper leather shoes (that i might buy)... So now, going to rephrase my words, "Wont wear the Basic Crocs!!!" :p

MissA, the top a bit short leh... Can see A's little tummy!! A looks like a Big girl!!! She is so pretty but not pretty with the pacifier leh... Think, u shd try to wean her off leh...

That day at Taka, saw this boy (3 yrs old) still sucking on the pacifier!
