im e one tat didnt like to have maid, n was very resistant to e idea.. kept trying to see if there is anyway i can avoid having a maid or not. my mum is looking after my son at tat time, n no way she can cope with an active 1yr old and a newborn + housework at her age lor.. so in e end, unwillingly i hired a maid. altho e maid is a good help most of e time, i will miss the privacy... plus sometimes have to "see" one more person's "face colour"... reli sianz... n eagerly waiting for e day tat i can send her away!!!
who's taking care of ur girl now?? n hv u planned ur childcare after #2 arrives??? (hehehe.. paiseh, its a "mummy hazard" of mine to ask so many qns...)
hehehe.. my girl also "shaking butt" like urs... she will hold onto e rails on e playpen/cot n move "up n down"... BUT she will only "dance" to "wheels on the bus" songs, or POP music.. no to other kids songs leh.. hehehe...

Kittybride: I heard fr my friends telling me dun send no1 to school when no1 is still below 1 yr of age wor. if not, no2 will fall sick easier wor. So my intention is to send no1 and no2 to nanny's house and maid goes along. For me, I think it's ok as no1 goes to Shichida class once a week.

think ur asking abt traveling with baby. I brought Leroy to LA when he was 10mths+. He adjusted well to the time difference n had no jet lag. was well-behaved on flt, i brought alot of stuff onboard to entertain him. we had fun n it was really enjoyable. BUT that was b4 he started walking steadily, if u ask me now if i would want to travel with him, my answer is NO! i cant keep him still n cant imagine how i would be able to survive the flt with him. But every baby is different. it really depends on how Ethan behaves.

I bought it from KP but L will sit inside for a while then will climb out of it. He can climb in n out himself!

My 2nd boy taking Gain IQ. Yes, this formula tends to have quite a lot of bubbles but I think it is one of the tasty ones
So, it is normal

I think some mommies every call Abbot and they say the bubbles help to break down some of the nutrients for easy absorbtion. I don't know if I agree with that or not tho.

weishy, i gave A 2 teething tablets juz now and then put her to bed, she fell asleep almost immed. The tablets like an mien yao.

A also flip ard when sleeping, last Sat she slept bet us &amp; in the middle of the night fell off the other end of the bed &amp; cry buckets

Just went for check up and blood test. Wow, at 38weeks+, baby is already 3.5kg. couldnt imagine if i carry till 40weeks and natural. chop chop go c-sect and dont think twice anymore though John Tee asked me again if i wanna try natural birth!!

Not going for pedi liao. Had pedi before kiros turned 1 yr. Now the colour still so fresh and neat looking. had to clean it up before this friday's c-sect.

yr maid really problem lei. get her changed once you are fit to do so la. If not by time your second baby arrives and then she start to chut pattern then you will hve further headache. imagine having to coo a baby, then there still hve to hve maid issues.. Ya, some maid agencies are like that. Esp if you dont owe them $ liao. They will chin chye entertain you and dont get back when they promised to do so. Any chance of you changing agency when you changing maid?

me also looking forward to the day when we dont require maids anymore. In fact i got so angry with my mum and husband over some maid issues just last sunday. I wish and wish that someday i can do w/o maid and have PT helper for housework will do. But i guess can only wait till when the elder one is at least 3-4yr old? But my husband says my pattern is that it will never happen. bu ke neng one... cos if once i am used to having maids around, i will find it hard to do w/o one. chances is perhaps will keep 1 out of 2. impossible to hve none in my case...hope will be able to prove him wrong.

try ntuc fairprice for pampers promotion. I got mine from Rivervale Mall, Thomson Plaza. Lots of stock when i went say few weeks ago. stocked up not less than 30packs..hehehe.. or maybe can call them before going down to make sure there's stock.

The promotion is for 2 packs (without box). couldnt remember exactly how much.. but certainly cheaper than the 2 packs in a box one from Giant. cheapest so far that i hve came across.

my gal also flipping/turn&amp;toss when she sleeps between us at nite. usually i'm the beneficiary of her sudden kungfu kicks &amp; slamming arms... and always the ONE to wake up to look for her pacifier (she definitely will CRY for it if she wakes up). so far hasn't gone to the stage of falling off the bed though. (cross-finger!)

Naps::

monster T has just changed his sleeping habits. he used to get up at 7am, nap 10am and 2pm, then zzz at 9pm. NOW he gets up at 8plus to 9am, nap 130 to 2pm and zzz at 10pm!! oh my. i prefer his previous timing!!

gloomybear:: HOW NICE. I'm sure you'll love time with your princessA. now school holidays, i facing the monster 24.7, frankly speaking i really wish to go back to work!!! ahaha. BUAY tahan!!

May I know any multi vitamins to recommend for our hb? He used to take the vitamins prescribed by the KKH to improve the quality of his 'junior soldiers' and I have threw the bottles away long time ago. So now I am thinking of getting for him again for planning no.2.. any recommendations?

Thanks to all mummies for all your advice on travelling with little one. Hubby may not be able to go with me as he is starting his new business then. So it will just be me, Ethan, my parents and brother. Think we can manage but hubby prefers that I leave Ethan behind in Singapore.

hai...dilemmas dilemmas. If I leave him behind, I probably can go somewhere further like Italy but if we bring Ethan, can only move within the UK. Anyone travelled there with baby before? Any nice places to recommend?

Ueno: Oh, yes! I remember your trip, L was sleeping so soundly next to you! Can imagining Ethan walking up and down the isle poking everyone as he goes. hahaha.

pig07: dun gan cheong about yr c-section. The other time mine was also c-section with epi, I felt nothing. Only thing I felt was like gynae cutting me how like a piece of hard tofu.. no much feeling one. Next moment, heard bb crying also... chop chop... one... dun worry har.

re: maid
U know everytime I want a maid to come quickly and the agency delay time, I have to pay another agency to look for one. So this time I was thinking I dun want to waste such money. This maid just with me for 1 month only, moreover agency is non-refunable... sigh...anyway I will take one day as it comes, no point worrying too much. Thank u for the listening ears.

And also for referring me to the maid website, very informative.

Good weight lah.... 3.5kg bb easier to look after not too soft hor.

Not sure if playdays need membership fees. Also I'm trying to get a slot in Shichida for A in Jan else hv to wait for April's term. This Shichida, I hv to call and call and push and push, sian &amp; getting quite impatient with them. My work quite siong but I hv errands to run today so took lv lor.

Poissons, cindy: Matt can't walk too, although he started walking with a walker a few wks ago. This week he is quite siao siao. keep walking with walker non stop. And then keep trying to stand from a sitting position on his own non stop. My mum thinks he will walk soon. it's getting harder, as he is more and more bundled up these days. I feel so bad for him...

Ya.. gan cheong a bit she bu de leaving kiros at home while we are at hospital. I think i am going to miss his kungfu kicks.. Like your experience with Chloe, Kiros will kick and turn and flip and drop his pacifier and have his legs all over me when sleeping. He has his own mattress but still likes to sleep so near to me that we both hve to squeeze into one mattress. Imagine my big tummy and him.. I couldnt quite move also. But hor, i enjoy the closeness.. Like being 'wanted' by him.. kekeke..

too bad mine is the non-foldable type so a bit lay chay to carry. On second thots, it might hv been a gd idea to not put in the batts! ZY been pressing/poking but no sound, haha. Actually, that's what she did initially, to keep standing up, and trying to reach the pedals. But after a few times of scolding, now she guai guai sits in it for at least 10min as i move her at the area below my place. But once we reach the playground she will yak yak and attempt to climb out. She can climb in n out quite skifully so i guess its all down to enuf practising? Since its a gift so i din hv to worry abt to buy anot. She has another FP bus that she will just sit in and move by herself. Let's see how long she will play with those!

langlao: Nope, don't think that there are membership fees for Playdays. Only 1 time registration of $40 and $100 refundable deposit. Shichida is very popular but rather expensive I feel leh...hope you will be able to get Ashlee in soon. Wah! Photoshoot ah...post your photo once ready ok? =)

lazykat: Oh, issit? Thought all first trials are FOC. Where you stay? JG are forum should be easier to get to than Evans Rd. But I can't make it cos its on weekdays too. Have to work mah...
