i stayed at Sengkang - practically far fr everywhere! I just thot the 9am timing too early, cos sometimes ZY woke up at 8am, then its gonna be a mad rush! I may consider trying the JG Evans next term, cos it was really fun!

Jovan can take up to 6 steps unaided but he still prefers to crawl if he wans to get to a place fast. nowadays if he wans to walk & he sees 2 adults ard, both adults must hold each of his hand & walk with him. if one dun wan to walk with him, he will throw tantrum. sit on the floor, kick his legs & eee eee aaah aaah! so spoilt!

dun forget my gal too... she's learning very hard to walk - been daring enuf venture on her own. i encourage her too and sometimes when she managed to move from one place to another (about 5 steps unassited), she will also gave herself encouragement by making loud noises! ahaha... very funny.

but my gal still dun know how to crawl leh. so i hope she can walk soon! ahaha...
yup, make that MY Xmas wish too!!

Gloomybear, I saw Carrefore got the pampers in a box for $35. It is cheaper than 1 packet of 60 L size pampers. U can take a look at it...

langlao: Multivits is mango flavour, cod liver oil is strawberry flavour. These are not a must la. But I chose to give, since we are in Shanghai, where it was more polluted.

kat: Prob not coming back, since we just came back during Oct holidays.

My son finally started to walk by himself on Monday but I only know it on tuesday. I have been holding his hand to walk around cos he always wanna hold my hand till my MIL told me he can walk by himself already. I tried to let go and he keep chasing by walking forward and hug my legs and laugh. Everytime, I let go his hand...he will make noise and fake cry. What a mischievous boy! *Faint*

Most of our todds into cruising/walking ah.. just last nite i witness ZY doing a sidewalk.. attempting to jump up as well, dunno what she is up to! Isnt it amazing how fast they learn things?

I dunno got standard or not cos i dun even have extras to try. Now packed in the fridge, i will try to resist eating them till Sat!

*P/S:Some of you must be thinking why i bake 2 days in advance..dun worry, its safe to consume within 4-5 days. And the main reason is becos MACS taste the best aft 48hrs!

Isaac can only walk 3 steps. Sometimes stable, sometimes walk like drunkard wor.... wonder when can he really walk. And he doesn't like to wear shoe, even though I bought those soft kind for him. Any advise har?

langlao3: Isaac already with shichida since last month and he seems to be enjoying it. So far no homework yet which I am very glad e.g. go there and play and come back...

re: drinking with straw

Any mummies can share how to teach our toddler to drink with straw?

k@ye: Is it cheap those pampers in the box? I see the box very cute and nice. And lots of mummies buying them. Hmm... I just calculated... it's more expensive than mammypoko wor... mammypoko selling at $0.50 per piece.

Rachel, Pampers is the most EXPENSIVE disposable diapers among other brands (excluding those organic ones lah)... I wont say the Pampers in the box is cheap lah but got promotion will be cheaper lah! Due to Claire's sensitive skin, she cant wear those cheaper ones, we tried b4 but still kena rashes... Only pampers dun hv lah!

The Duxton at Pinnacle, my colleague bought an unit from there. She was quite lucky to get it lah... From my office, can see that its going to be finished building soon.....

DRinking from straw:maybe u can show him and he can try out..starting may hv like choking(slight) bt afterwards u'll be used to it kekekkek ( cos no choking if its juice etc)
 
I juz passed the pigeon straw cup to my boy, initially he will lick and attempt to bite the straw and mug..but after a while, he started to drink from the straw liao..i was quite impressed

I went to Robinsons sale yesterday, there's 20% off all Pigeon products. I bought 2 more water bottles for E. He very pattern one, doesnt like to drink plain water, so i have to keep changing new bottle/cup in order to entice him. Now he has 4 water bottles. Ngak ngak...

me same as u...got tons of water bottle...i like to buy bottles. next one i m moving on to cups. Mischa can drink from cups now, but need to assist her. and she doesnt like to drink from milk bottles at all...

yday i mixed BM with FM for her...she REJECTED! Cham liao!

Rachel, really no need to teach them drinking from straw. its an instinct and they can take to it almost immediately when they are READY....Mischa started drinking from straw at 8mths (as recommended by the COmbi cup) so i jus give to her and she could suck readily. Jus remember not to get them those very difficult to suck ones. For e,g spill proof cups are really hard to suck, so it might turn them off. FYI i m using the Combi (Hello kitty) cup. it is not totally spill proof.

Mischa can finally walk unassisted jus now! we brought her to a park and surprising she was wiling to walk on the sandy path. she made 5-6 steps all alone..so happy for her

it's not easy to bring our prince/princess out, but once u've done it, its really not that tough afterall. My house is walking distance to the Anchorvale pool, but we hv yet swim there, cos its either raining or closed! on the days that we wanna go.. very suay! Izzit packed on a Sat morning? cos so far we only swim in the evening time.

mine will somehow merlion the water when drinking fr straw but wont when drink fr spout.. *scratch head also*

ACtually if u purchase in bulk when there is a promo, its even cheaper than mamypoko. I have > 10 boxes so far, and i was lucky cos my gal still wears M, per pc even cheaper.

Can try fresh milk, should be ok. L rejects the FM too but takes the fresh milk.

eventually when they learn to cycle u will also need to buy a tricycle rite? the one that i bought has a basket below which can be removed when they start to pedal on their own.

Ueno, ya i did give her a few sips of FResh milk jus now.she quite like it, but not sure if its jus out of curiosity. but how do u store fresh milk?unopened tetra pack hv to keep in fridge right? so u bring it to room temp then feed or need to heat? cos Mischa drinks very little, i dun think she can even finish those small packs
