Evans one too as Forum seems quite packed for the trial. Both of us got our hands in blue painting too, luckily DH not around to witness at that point cos he will thinks its such a mess, ha! I am very tempted, but as i attended the 11am one, so hv to rush off for her lunch feed and intend to call up to enquire more. Some got their mum/in law to help bring their kid, else the rest shld be SAHM i feel.

thanks. i go & find. aiyor u not cheapo lah. yday i spent $9.70 on some paper, color pencils, crayons & markers. i already feel heartache! hahaha. but now i think back, i (or rather Jovan) can still use those stuff after the party ends & it's so much cheaper compared to hiring magicians or entertainer.

My son also walk like a drunkard. He like to hold hand to walk but can't balance well. And at times, he rather crawl. Wonder when will he start to walk...

I have recently started Kiros on Yoplait yoghurt. Not the baby one as it's pretty hard to buy and plus he reaching 1yr liao so i try tis out. but i dont tink its the adult one as well. it's 6 cups in a pack. mixed flavour with no fruit bits. Wow, each time kiros had a cup, he will pass motion the same day. He has tis habit of passing motion say like once in every 3-4 days. For mummies with babies experiencing constipation, maybe can try this out.

Another yoghurt brand to consider is fernleaf one. also no fruit bits.

how much do you feed kiros with the yogurt? i feed my boy only half a cup with some cut fruits like strawberries, blue berries or kiwis. And yes, agree that it's good for passing motion..my boy usually poo once everyday, if he takes yogurt, he will poo twice. Now that they are eating solids, their poo damn smelly...hehe..
 
pig: i want my girl to take the yogurt, but after she had her first taste, she rejected totally becoz of the sour taste o_O".. tried to give her papaya, she also dont want. Gave her banana also dont want. Me gave up on that liao. Always crake my head to help her to make her poo everyday.

she always have her off day over the weekend and poo on weekdays. Maybe she wants to save her mummy on the trouble of clearing her poo.. haha..

wow.. it seem like most of the BBs here able to walk steadily liao.. my girl still crawling leh.. dont know by the time i fly back, she able to walk liao anot..

dreamer - i try to feed hazel bb yoghurt if not plain adult yorghurt cos I find the ones for adults wif flavour(fruits) is sweet but once in a while I'll indulge her wif ice cream ha ha so ironic rt!? :p I'm afriad of giving sugar cos she may get hyper

Pig07: Ya, so difficult to find Baby Yoplait. I searched high & low last weekend, in the end i bght the organic baby yogurt, pack of 6 for $15, so expensive! But no choice coz Eagan recently having constipation, got blood in his stool if he passes motion on alternate day. Think his anus tearing...So heartache. Bringing him to see doc tonight, hope nothing serious. We even printed the pic of his blood poo poo to show to the PD tonight:p Like poissons, i usually give him half.

Party Favor: Mummies, i just came back from "The Verge" (The old Tekka Mall). There's this shop that used to be in Concourse selling all the party stuff, u may wanna buy yr party items there if u're still planning for the party.

Mambobb: My boy also nua nua cant walk. Can only stand unassisted for at most 10secs nia. His daddy started walking only at 18months!(coz my MIL always carried him in her arms). Hopefully Eagan wont take that long.

i was at tekka mall last sun, wanted to check out the party supplies stores but was shocked to find that they are renovating the place and it's a dead town so I left...alamak..so it's on the 5th flr!! urgghh...any idea if they are open on wkends?
 
cactusnah, u may wan to try applying bb oil and cream ard his anus. Cos my gal had a hard time pooing the other day when we reached perth and the shit was stuck halfway so painful for her that she cried buckets and scared to push. So hubby use some oil and cream and apply ard her anus. After dat she pooed out easily.

I find giving barley helps too!
 
yogurt

Hi mummies,

for start i gave him half a cup.. i tink its a bit sour but he didnt reject it. Then second time i gave him one full cup cos i thot its very small nia (yoplait petit..) without fruits..

on days i give half an apple or papaya or banana, i will not give yoghurt.

in tat pack of 6 cups hor, i tink there'a cup or 2 tat's vanilla flavour only. Maybe those arent sour vs with fruits type.

organic one very ex hor.. i saw at fairprice..

With blood in stools.. the stools very hard type? better go see doc early and if got cream to apply boh.. i am wondering if it will help if we apply cream like drapolene when we see them wanting to 'gek'.. maybe easier/smoother to poo out?

Thanks for all the compliments on my cuppies. Actually my trial batch before the actual party was much better!

Plim, I used half buttercream and half fondant because after trying I realised that fondant was near impossible so I gave up, didn't need the stress. Therefore I really have to take my hat off to S@L who made some amazing creations with her fondant.

Ooh and congrats S@L for your feature in the mag. WEll DONE!

bound to get some idiot who are not tolerant of babies on flights. At least you got good attention from the airline and stewards, thumbs up to them for making your journey less stressful.

our gals can hi-5 again; chloe also will not poo at home during the weekends unless she didn't had her poo on friday. else, it will always be at the nanny's place, some times even poo twice a day!

ystdy hb told me nanny commented my gal can poot SO HUGE poo (her description was - as huge as sugar cane!!) wah liao... no wonder my gal anus so reddish lah... i think coz we fed her banana over the long weekend coz she didn't poot on Monday too!

u not cheapo lah... party packs just to please the kiddos bah. ystdy i also managed to get some stationery from pasar malam and bought $10 worth of mechanical pencils &amp; erasers. then today, i went to haul back a plastic bag-full of tidbits!

tonite will have to start sorting out the stuffs liao... and hopefully can fit them all into the party bags!

mummies, thanks for sharing on the yoghurt. i wanted to try and give kaira plain adult yoghurt so she can share "mine", don't have to buy 2 kinds ...hehehe...mebbe when she nearer to 1 year old i let her try abit and see how. she taking the local brand of baby yoghurt now.

the only trouble is, fondant is not my 'good friend' cos i have very warm hands...fondant always soften too fast in my hands. so i hv to keep drying them with cornstarch. other than that, its really fun!

Poisson: The entire 5th floor is selling xmas deco. Only 2 shops selling party items. But the one i mentioned is def bigger, cheaper and more equipped. And yes, they're open on weekends too:

Mon-Sat: 10am - 7pm
Sun: 11am - 530pm

poochi: Noted yr suggestion. Will apply cream next time. Sigh...he drinks apple juice everyday, but yet still constipate. Takes aft mummy, so sad.

pig: I was desparate liao, $20 will also buy coz i cldn't find the Baby Yoplait, so no choice. But i still think the Baby Yoplait is better lei.

Yogurt:hayley's been having yogurt since 7 months old ...almost daily ( can buy from other countries so cheaper,in hkg also very ex!)

if nto then she'll hv oatmeal with fruits in the morning

Hayley once hv constipation(the sai got tuck half way,we use a small piece of soap and put it into her anus....no choice......luckily my MIL im hk with me that time)

afterwards she's been having those bifidus powder daily(bought in taiwan...online purchse) and she poops daily too(without difficulty)

yes lor, last time also blue black on cheek. she is so active lah. walk cannot walk properly want to run. my colleague says its because head dimension too big, so unbalance thats why always fall. look at her u can tell, head way bigger than body..haahaa...

Constipation: Didn't know so many mummies were facing this problem. Ethan poos everyday, some days twice! =P We give him brown rice porridge and papaya every now and then. Hope this helps. Tried baby yogplait but he doesn't like it. sigh...

I bought alot of nonsense lah, from clothes to photo albums to shoes to food... So u can imagine my 40kg+++...

BEst part is got 1 auntie saw my lugguage at Changi airport, she asked me, "U one person can carry so much!!" especially i was carrying Claire in the Pikkolo and putting the lugguage onto the trolley!

I really am envious of how you mummies can manage kids and same time being so good with baking stuff. Today i was at this bukit timah(along hooper road) and i walked into this shop (next to teck ghee pau) tat sells bakery stuff and at same time teaching people to bake. Wow, i was really inspired to learn to bake at that moment. Pictures of the items and cupcakes you mummies coming up with came into my mind. But guess i can only start learning after i deliver in Dec. Wonder how many hour will it be for each session. Must really go find out this saturday.

i think i better start doing something soon after i deliver. else i really feel so small.

mummies, today first time brought kaira to the baby clinic here for her jabs and check up. she's 78cm and 10kg ... and guess what, they have some software and "extrapolated" that she will be abt 175cm when she grows up... i find it quite amusing. abt same height as me

today she took her booster 6in1 and prevenar (they have it here @ 11 months... much earlier than sg) ... aiyo, she so uncooperative @ the clinic, cry when we put her down to measure her height and weight. took so long juz to measure her ;p

cry so hard again when she had the shots, poor thing! and come home keep wanting me to carry...cannot put her down the whole afternoon .... *pengz* now hope she doesn't develop fever.

pig, u not alone ...me SAHM also don't do much! me not very good with my hands... =P ....altho i muz say the mummies here have inspired me and i started making some cakes recently ... (actually only 2 times lah! hehe). juz that i can only do that after kaira sleeps ... so sometimes i myself very tired, don't feel like doing anything liao... and must find very simple recipes...cannot be too complicated ;p if u interested, u can start by trying out at home first.... no need to spend $ for classes yet...unless u very sure of your interests! ;)

jovan never took any yougurt before. thanks to his old-fashioned-minded daddy. he thinks tat human should try not to take cold stuff at all, esp women (coz our body are already "chilly" by nature) &amp; kids. rem a period of i freeze his pureed food, he also wan to object. frozen BM he bobian
 
Dreamer, Claire also dun like ppl to take her weight, temperature &amp; stuff... The way she react to such things is as if we abused her!

Catherine, Jovan's development similiar to Claire. I saw her take 1-2 steps unassisted in HK but now, no more of such instances liao...

Then i realised her speech development is faster. Yesterday on the bus, i told her not to disturb the "Kor kor", guess what, she looked at that guy and called him "Kor Kor".

So its true, if can talk first, then will walk later and vice versa!
 


Talking and walking:
wow biangz~.. cailyn not even can walk and talk wor~.. me quite worry about her speech.. coz my nanny's daughter has problem with her speech.. scare my girl will get influence by her... that's y when cailyn hit 18mths, me want to send her to childcare to learn.

shd i worry?
