Kaye take care of yourself too. usually for me when my boy is sick i end up getting sick too then very tiring to take care of both your baby and yourself.
I hope claire gets well really soon. Is she feeling very pek chek or still play as per normal.
I made the elmo using the 3D wilton pan they have here. then i squeeze the buttercream till my hand want to break! here Wilton stuff a lot cheaper that S'pore leh.. I shall invest and bring back haha! So ugly lor my Elmo like monster! But at least my son still says mo! mo! mo! Hiak!

fyi on fostre catering, try not to order the mango pudding as it is very watery/soggy. ask them to change to other dessert if you had placed order that set that includes mango pudding.

Ecreative cakes i find nice leh.. I ordered for my son's 1mth celebration. i ordered the black forest one wah i like leh.. my guests also say nice!

K@ye;ya la u know la i buy things then come back she cannot use or wear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!gotta start clearing some stuffs le.......u think 2nd hand clothes ppl want?????mostly from states(old navy/gap/gymboree/carter's le......all only wear once or twice...so sayang le......and me not getting preggie now so......so many of her stuffs and no space already!!!!!!!!!

Its finally over.....
Ashlyn's birthday party is over...yipee...
so tired neh.
And hor she fell asleep at the cutting cake time.
Also quite afew of my frens didnt make it. So alot of cake left and buffet also have food left.
lucky the cake that i gave out to the guests are HUGE pieces...heehee...

aiyo.. i gave up looking for pooh n frenz cake (cos only Bengawan got the rights i think).
Despite PG comments not so gd, but think i will still order fr them cos ecreative ones need 3 kg at least for the design i like, but i need only 2kg leh, cos i am ordering 2 cakes.

Lazykat, is it expensive? If not you can try the mummy from the baking thread. I ordered my HK cake from her..she promised to make it nice nice for me
she is good with fondant cake, but if u like buttercream, i m sure she can do equally well too. PG cakes not much decor. they only know how to put all the candies and stuffs....considering the price, not really worth IMHO.

charges are ok. she dun go by kgs, but by the design. let her know how many guests u are expecting she should be able to estimate for u.
no need to go for licensed Pooh bakery. cos their designs are jus so-so

HB is out of town (again!) with his frenz. leaving me to take care of Jovan & arranging of birthday party. Jovan is getting more & more naughty. just now he climbed onto of the coffee table (mine is the super low kind). i scolded him & he cried fake tears. can tell it's crocodile tears coz he was crying & playing with his saliva (tat dripped onto the floor) at the saem time. now he's pulling my hair, slapping my back & tugging my shorts.

langlao, opposite for me. Dora was slow. and her price was ridiculous le. the cuppies price at least 30% more expensive than Pink's.

same here la, my hubby in town also the same. i plan everything even my son's bday too. Men are like that. only a small handful of doting husband will wan to get involved. but for me i prefer the way is it now, cos if my hubby involved, he will sure omit this and that. so as long i tell him what he is paying for, he doesnt care abt the details.

seem that all of you busy preparing and baking cakes for your babies, I have no skill and time at all, the only skill i have is spend money ( all my family members know it)
ordered 3D pooh cake from ecreative and party to hold in Mygym, all hasslefree cos I dun want to be carrying my boy the whole party and nowadays, he wants to get down all the time plus I dun think I have time and energy to clean up after that too
he is getting more and more active and once he wants something, he wants it! else he will keep a fuss, he has been screaming at the top of his voice, sometimes I wonder if he is trying different pitch, different vol or what? cos he always started like a tiger first then the scream go loud and loud, sharper and sharper, OMG I hope this is just a passing phrase. Initially thought of bringing him oversea for his birthday but looking at his present behavior, I better dun :-(
He likes book and talking, anything that got wheels is car to him, motorcycle, tricycle and bicycle are bicycle to him, worse is most animals are dog to him, imagine a blk/white sheepdog and a panda are both dog to him cos they are both blk/white. But the best word from him is "Mommy"

Weishy: I know! I heard abt the $3 handwashes. But decided to get the body lotions instead. Buy 1 and get 1 50% off. Then once I spend $10, I can get anything less than $13 free! haha. I'm a happy girl! Now if only my cold will go away.
Finished presentations today, so tomorrow I can sit back and relax. Phew! Now I'm enjoying Florida. =)

CAtherine, how can he nvr do anything, then he ust be the pay master lor...hehehehe..but its ok la. as long u happy planning for the event that is most impt. at least my hubby did suggest what to do with the kiddos at the party. then he freaked out when he saw the number of foil balloons i bought. luckily i got a good bargain for inflating the balloons...if nt sure kena from hubby again.
