same here leh... i thot we'd only start to suffer when our babies reach the 'terrible two' stage... didn't expect them to start so early!
my gal's at her temperamental stage; everything must go her way else will throw tantrum and kick up a fuss... and prob is she dun fake her tears, really BIG tear drops sure to follow. HB sure give in to her but me; i smack her legs if she kicks non stop... but after dat, felt so regret. sigh... dun know how to discipline coz they dun understand that much yet lor... feeling like a bad mommy liao.

Kittybride:: sigh poor us. Travis has also come to a stage where u don't give him what he wants, CHAM liao!! And plus he has taken over our bed at night! we used to make him zz on our bed, then move him back, at night when he get up then let him sleep with us. but for the past 5 days, he's been not wanting to go back to his bed, the moment we move him iover, he gets up in less than 10min!! until we give up and let him bunk in with us. POOR our backs. sighs!

and she has BAD sleeping habits... and lately seems like she also has some kungfu dreams again coz she'll make some noise then start to do leg stretching (yi zhi ma) or keep kicking - and always KENA my tummy! and ya, they KNOW when they are in their BED; will auto wake up crying one...

you can buy playdough at taka, metro, toys r us..etc.
those kids coming to my party vary, so i dunno how to entertain them and i dun have budget to hire magician or entertainer. only bought some bottles of bubbles and maybe some drawing papers and markers..they can also play with the balloons. oh, i only got 2 foil balloons hor as compared to you..the rest are latex..haha..i'm a cheapo mummy.

Catherine, 5 balloons ok la. i have 16 balloons and counting....hehehehe...mad right? but becos my venue is quite big and empty, so i couldnt think of other stuff besides banners and balloons.
i got the contacts thru the Oct thread. This mummy is so nice to accept my request cos she recently changed her policy, only inflat balloons if buy something from her website.but becos i talked to her way before she changed the policy, so she still do it as a goodwill for me lor. and she stays jus across my flat, so more convenient for me.
For playdoh, u can get from toyrus..they have only playdoh pack, without the moulds and all...can get. i bought quite a few times for my son already.

Back in SG on 12.30am on Mon morn! Managed to survive 3.5hrs of flight alone with Claire!
Weishy, i will add Andrew on my facebook once i have the time.
Grace, heheh will get my hubby to give u the disc asap coz he said that i was the one who delayed him from processing the photos!
Langlao, i need to get a no frills stroller. My current Combi one cannot really accomodate Claire!

Mambobb: Weather in florida is great this week. No rain, only sunshine and its getting quite cool at night so bring a jacket when you go out at night! Got to low as 59 degrees fahrenheit yesterday & will hover around 60 degrees + this week.

We're back from perth and it was really fun! Luckily for us hazel only fussed abit and fell asleep till landing on both flights there and back.

Pig, yalor... So suay, down with Roseola in HK and i was so worried... The HK PD even scared me that if Claire kena UTI, she has to be HOSPITALISED! Heng heng, i got buy travel insurance for her... Just her medical bills already cost me HK$1000++
Langlao, no problem... Just to let u know that i will be home b4 9pm... Hahaha!
Poochi, the rental of the helium tank was for 3 days. We rented it one day b4 her party and returned it back to the shop one day after her party!
Grace, me alone checked in 40kg+ of luggage... Heng no excess baggage charge.... Actually, i intended to check in 2 pieces of lugguage... But the ground staff saw me travelling alone with a toddler told me to check in the cabin luggage. That's y 40kg+... I bought quite a lot of stuff for myself, Claire & some for my hubby lah...
The killer item is the tricycle for Claire. That is Claire's birthday gift from my siblings. I bought it coz it can be folded up and the material is not flimsy as those found in SG!
Then the shopping queen in me hor, made me spent more $$ in the Disney store, book store & Eu Yan Seng in HK Airport... So ended up, i got 2 extra bags to carry on board the plane with my existing 2 bags....
One thing good abt travelling alone with an infant, everybody gives u priority. At the HK immigration (famous for being slow), the officer directed me to a super short queue coz he saw me piggy back Claire.
At the Disney store, everyone attempted to play with Claire and gave her a sticker!
Then at the boarding gate, i can go to the First Class priority queue... The moment i reached the aircraft, the air stewardess helped me carried my bags & stowed it at the overhead compartment.
But, my whole body was so tired coz i was chasing Claire up and down the aircraft aisle... Coz she refused to sit and wants to crawl... Rather let her crawl than her cries disturb the whole plane.
I was quite pissed off with this passenger. I can understand y he doesn't want to sit in the same row with me and Claire but i dun like his reaction. He said this loudly to the ground staff,"I DUN WANT TO SIT WITH A BABY!!" Me being very evil said this to Claire, "U SEE, PPL DUN WANT TO SIT WITH US!!!"
Anyway, on board the plane got 3 babies and many young children. Got 1 baby cried almost for 1.5hr!

think i read that someone wanted to hv play dough for the kids to play during the party is it? hmm, my personal opinion that it can get really messy! once i had some kids over my place and they were playing play dough.. by the end of the session, little bits of play dough was every where... on the table, the floor, their little fingers, clothes, etc.! never expected it to be so 'messy'.... so advice is that, mummies who wish to use this as one of the activities for kids, be prepared!

must get ur hb involved somehow or another lah... i 'made' my hb involve also, not only in terms of $ but also helping out... good thing is tat, he will be involved... only downside is he moves only when 'pushed'
so right now, he will be responsible for the deco and balloons... kekeke...

langlao, lazykat, i heard a "theory" that when they are learning to walk, they are more confident when holding on to "something" cos its like holding to our hands ... gives them the confidence to walk. mine also likes to walk around with things in her hands... but she hasn't tried the bumbo seat yet!! langlao, A is very strong! =)

Langlao, no problem lah! U can get it from me this week.... coz my hubby & i took leave to look after Claire as my Mum still in HK! Thursday & Friday is my hubby's turn! U let me know again, Sunday i m definitely at home!

Ethan got to get his hands dirty painting his first picture and the kids got the opp to go swim/play in the pool outside. Ethan really enjoyed himself. agree with you about the intensive nature but would really have loved to sign him up except for the fact that its on weekdays and there's no one to bring him.

Holding hands: Ethan still wants to hold my hand when walking and does not want to walk with daddy. *such a mummy's boy* =) Called him from the US 2 days ago and he stopped crying when he heard me sing his favourite song then started saying "mama, mama" and crying again. I was so sad that I was moved to tears...guess my job makes me not take my son or hubby for granted, especially when I travel.
