(2007/11) November MTBs

Just now i was so mad with Claire!!! We went to the Singapore Flyer coz we got the annual membership pass... Put her into my Pikkolo, facing forward (super siong on me liao) My hubby wans to take pix with his new toy mah...

Then, my Ms Attitude made noise plus so many ppl in the flyer.. Just gotta release her and let her be a free range chicken.... Piang, she starts to eat things on the floor... Immediately scoop her up and dun let her roam liao...

Wow, the screams from her are ear defying!!! Then i smacked her on her butt, she cried liao. My hubby no choice got to help me carry her. My hubby sort of "scolded" me for not letting her roam & smack her. I told him that if her skin is not sensitive, i cant be bothered and just let her be a free range chicken!

Imagine my stress to find a toilet to clean her up once getting down from the flyer!

. apparently her class was fully booked, but i persisted and begged...hahahha finally manage to get her to squeeze in a class for me. Now i m contemplating to join the Wilton Courses...will see how if my interest is deep enough...wanna join me ? hehehehe

Last night and jus now she was super fussy! kept tossing and turning, wailingloudly and even slept at 1am last night! I couldnt figure out wat went wrong except suspect that she is teething again...last checked couldn see any new sprouts,but she refused to latch...only when she buay tahan really tired liao then she latch and slept..hiaz/i see her behving like that i felt my heartache...
 
Lentils: can someone enlighten me? Cos i know there are many many types of Lentils..which ones are mummies here feeding their bb with? I hv kinda ran out of ideas for Mischa's porridge ingredients n hv nt tried giving her lentils at all...can post a pic?
 
S@L, for lentils, i use the organic round cream color from jason super market. Alternatively i also cook semonlina.

Mambobb, they dun accept non US issued credit card. Usually i order via BDL concierge service.

Mambobb, u can go to www.borderlinx.com to register and then get them to order for u.

Vpost wise is i think they charged a fee for placing the order for u.

Another point to note, Babycenter's stuff usually takes 1 week to reach BDL building. And from BDL to reach SG, it will take 2-3 days.

Mambobb, cannot.. coz Babycenter wont accept ur order. U log in to borderlinx and click on their concierge service.

Then u copy & paste the url and give them the item description, qty, stuff & instructions etc... Then once u confirmed it, they will place the order for you!

re: sweaty baby
my gal's a sweat bucket... unless aircon is turn on full blast (and she must be without any blanket/covers; just purely her PJs and on top of the bedsheet!), she can't sleep through the nite!

last nite was another repetition... we usually switch off the aircon around midnite (coz i' can't sleep if too cold!) and in about an hour's time, my gal will awake from slumber with a headful of sweat! and this is when the fan is blasting at her direction!

last nite i think i woke up like 6 times; twice for feeding and the rest, trying to shift her from one side to another coz the bedsheet where her head was originally place were soaking wet! and it really got her daddy super irritated coz she WAILS when she's not comfy... sigh, any idea wat else i can do?

we dun wana let her have the habit of sleeping in aircon room for the whole nite - bad for her and equally bad for our pocket as well!

hallo mummies,
baby Jovan is adapting quite well at the new infantcare center. for lunch, he has brown rice with veg & fish/chicken & fruit puree. for dinner, it's rice / oatmeal cereal. he has recovered from his cough. after only 4 days at the new infantcare, i can see his "lian3 se4" (face color) getting so much better! hope he can get stronger & healthier

oh baby Jovan's 5th & 6th upper teeth are sprouting. aiyah, must say "baby" Jovan more often already. coz in 2 months time, he will no longer be a baby. although in my heart, he will ALWAYS be my little baby. time really flies. nowadays, sometimes i'll get v emotional when i carry him. i'll hug him tightly & wish tat time could stop so i can always enjoy him as my little baby...

Baby Jovan is also a sweaty baby. his head is always v smelly in the morning before his bath. during the day, he will perspire when drinking milk or napping even though the fan is blowing at him or he's at infantcare (air-conned). does she sleep in air-con room during the day? u might wanna try to condition her to nap in non-aircon place during the day? else put diaper clothes underneath her head when she sleeps? maybe not so wet & uncomfy?

Mambobb, btw... Babycenter items very fast runs out! Must order immediately and remember to put this instructions down in your concierge order.
 
Kitty ah, must try to train her to sleep elsewhere liao... If not, u will find it even tougher to "kick" her out of your bed when she is older.

U might want to put a mat under the bedsheet than it will be cooler.

Also, find mattress that is breathable. I let Claire sleeps on a rubber mattress with a mat placed on it.

ya, my HB has been complaining abt my gal's smelly head/hair so often that he's threatening to shave her bald again! yikes!! :D

actually day time chloe sleeps in sarong with fan blasting directly at her, no problem at all. but dun know why at nite she MUST have aircon to sleep through lor. and i've already put the nappycloth beneath her but the nappy also ends up smelly with her sweat!!

bo pian leh, she to used to our masterbed oredi. the only time i managed to switch her back to her cot is when we switched on the aircon the whole nite... too cozy feeling for her that she dun even wana get up for milk!!

Kitty, not Tatami, its those rattan mat. Got it from Chinatown but its not cheap cost ard $120.

Babies are like that, they like to sleep with "ren qi", mabbe that's y dun like to sleep in cot!

Too much aircon also no good... Unfortunately for me, my flat is a hot one so gotta switch on aircon almost every nite.

Kitty, yup... 20 yrs ago, they cost $60. The older the mat, the cooler it is! Coz these mats require alot of labour to make plus, its not in demand, so difficult to find.
