Lyn attended her 1st lesson today and surprisingly, she was attentive! As usual la, ppl talk to her, she just stone stone look back, whereas jerry was smiling n smiling n smiling to everyone. The teacher was pretty engaging and I think lyn enjoyed herself v much. She knock out immed after I left the building. Quite enjoyable.

ya, current plan is bb and we stay put at spore while hubby at KL... when he relocate again we shall move together then... hope i can survive the weekdays!

yeah, she enjoyed it! Somemore only lyn n jerry in a class! So I think our sch fees quite worth leh. hehehe.
The teacher really flashed the cards v v fast! And she wore braces too! So when she read out the cards at fast speed, it sounds really blur, like slurring.

I think you gotta go ahead 1st, as I do not wish to overload her with too much for now. I will just stick to my plan of enrolling her after her 1st term at trio ends.

Sorry mummies I disappeared this afternoon cuz Jav wasn't taking his afternoon nap and was so cranky. I told him I'd forgive him as he's teething..haha...

I paid $950 for GD English and Math kit. Very ex hor...
I'm not sure which book you're getting from GD. Each individual book eg. 'How to teach your baby to read' will give you in details in how to DIY the cards. It tells you the measurement of the card, the colour of the pen to use, how big the letter should go etc...It'll be very useful if you're going to DIY but if you're not, then perhaps you dun really need that book at all, as long as you
1) know his concept (babies' brain is like a sponge, they will absorb everything that you show to them so start flashing cards to babies as early as possible)
2) they key points to flash the cards (flash it in a sec, make it enjoyable, max 3 sessions a day)
Flashing English card is easy but if you're flashing math cards from GD, then you need to read the math book.

Have been real busy as Jerry was caught with fever. Recovered from fever, but having slight cough. Haiz, cough went haywired again this morning. I m on almost 24hours shift for a week. My energy almost draining out.
Being home for almost a week, attention all on Jerry. He gets kinda clingy to me. I really have to move on and get back to work, if not he superglue to me n dun let go! Haha...

I enjoy the class much as compared to Jerry. Being sleepy, he is kinda grumpy n further to his cough. Lyn is really gd gal, being attentive during class.
I was quite embarassed when Jerry 'NoNo' to teacher when she sing the songs. She still asked him if he dun like her singing. *Faint*
I agree on the super duper fast flash cards. Should have movie effect? OMG! I sure fail on this.
Hopefully Jerry gets better n can do a proud HELLO to Lyn next week. =P

the class yesterday was in English right?
Glad the Lyn and Jerry enjoyed themselves. Looking forward to Sat. Hope she will behaved the same one like what she did during the trial. Now that she is more mobile and vocal, am worried actually !!
Not sure what happened to Kelly, maybe it's teething again cos I think I see some white spot on top and below liao!! In the day time, she refused to nap and yesterday she was fussing and crying for almost few hours !!!
tried everything, thot maybe she hungry again even though she was just fed and she keep quiet when I put the milk in her mouth but she drink like 20ml and fall asleep. Then less than 30mins, the cycle will goes on!!! wasted 2 bottles of milk at the end.
Aiyoh, she waking and crying goes on throughout the night and I'm oh bak kak now!!
Letting her sleep longer now before I bring her to my mum's place !!!

at least you are better than me! i think only no action. Haha. never even enquire more about more details & rates. i also same as you - got too many factors to think of e.g. cost, transport. I think also have to commit at least 3 times a week?

totoro, poor kelly.. are u using normal milk bottle to feed her? if u r, u can try using mag mag cup instead.. rem when adri had fever over the weekend and her gums were sore.. she refused to even let the teat near her mouth.. but she at least drank some when we feed her with the mag mag cup..
