mich what is the brand of the pre-mix? i love betty croaker (dunno spelling) brownies pre mix. very nice.
 
i like pre mixes too - really takes out alot of work of logistics & making too!

sometimes i just throw in extra flour or butter & ingredients like chocolate rice or rasins for more OOMPH or quantity without paying for 2 boxes of premix too - just hop on 1 box for the taste.

oh tell me about the price hike for enfalac, it's very ex now, but still I'll stick to it la.. am not too sure when is appropriate or is there a need to change to enfapro stage 2 leh...

i ask u hor...apparently these few days my ger wakes up, she can be orrhh orrhh back to sleep by jus patting/+ pacifier, sometimes feed water. eg last nite my hb jus pat & give pacifier. morn i peek at her, her pacifier was out & she continued to sleep. we r doing e correct PU/PD method that tracy h is recommending right? i can be almost certain she wake up is not for milk...

jen:i thinking of stopping bm via dostinex. i think glayz also took that medicine. according to e gynae wil stop bm w/i 2days. i wanna check w her. cos i don think i can go by e pump-less-mins method...cos everytime i pump e more milk i see, e happier i get. if i see less milk, i pump more...& i always power pump...hahaha...if not my usu amt, i buay gum wan...i wil pump & pump til i confirm no milk...
 
jen, you can give stage 2 when he is 24 weeks old cos I gave that to my elder one when she was 24 weeks old. So 5.5 months may be about 24 weeks already? My elder and Joy are both ok with switching FM like that. I suggest you give a small amount of new FM to Jake to try each day... if after 2-3 days no adverse reaction then switch completely.

Tano, I also like you, dun know how to stop pumping cos I want to keep going though hubby keep nagging at me to stop stop stop. He says I already exceeded my time frame! But I say I want to go on leh... PU/PD is like picking up and putting down when she cries... so I guess what you are doing is not exactly the same way. But if it works to put her to sleep, why not? Just monitor a while more to make sure that the feed water, patting, pacifier etc are not becoming habit...
 
mich: i been re-reading tracy h's book. there is a chapter which she commented on to give bm/not to give/to stop. think it really speaks to me nw...
i go hm try to read e PU/PD method again. that's y...i am abit scare duno if i doing it correctly, sekali everytime must pat & give pacifier hw? instead of teaching her to fall back to sleep on her own.

Jen , sometimes i also wake up at 2am and cannot seems to fall asleep till 4am , even if zac is not up for feeding .. haha .. u really switching FM ? Me sticking to mine cos i feel that if zac not suitable, then i will waste the new FM like the Frisco i let him try last time. Also , comparing the cost difference for 400 g not much , so better dun change unless bb reject the previous.. hehe .. just my thoughts ,,

My left breast now cannot even pump 1 ounce each time , but the right one which my boi prefer still have a lot ,, so next time i stop i also dunno if loopp a not .. hehe

quiling: u mean u don pump on ur left though ur boy don latch? haha...supply so diff for each breast. dr ho gave me e dostinex leh...i think shld be ok to take that to stop ba...i hav to stop end of dec, whether i relunctant or not. i mean, my sch day starts on e 15th jan, i can technically stop on e 13thjan eg. but wondering if i wanna push myself to that extent.
 
Tano, yah I'm also very afraid to give a prop so I try my best to help Joy go to sleep on her own... maybe u talk to your mum about what you trying to do so she won't come and interfere at nites and ask you to feed leting since leting is not hungry. That chapter also speaks to me... breastfeeding is really a very emotional thing isn't it? Want to stop but feel guilty yet on the other hand I am so tired and want to give myself a break from the pump.

My boy still on milk only diet, want to try to start Ruth Yaron Super porridge (homemade cereal) regime.

Anyone on this? Must add vitamins & iron supplements, how to get? Not sure if my PD will prescribe....
 
pinkzebra, yup... long weekend, just decided on wed to take leave today to rest at hme but here i am, glued to e PC. my current tin of enfalac is finishing lor, so was tinking if i can go to enfapro aredi.

mich, for same brand of FM, switch fr stage 1 to stage 2 shd be quite ok, not so drastic compared to changing brand, rite?

qiuling, was actually tinking of whether can upgrade to stage 2 FM, enfalac & enfapro same family. but aso tinking of whether to change to NAN eventually as tt's was wat my GP recommended e other time.
 


getting v.excited. tml bringing jake to be 1 of e 3 mrs wong's models for bb massage. hopefully, he'll be guai guai & let mrs wong massages him thruout.
