i order the candle from birthday direct spree, but saw they selling at Part with us @ centrepoint. can't remember the price <$10 bah.
SKP store which selling party stuff also have no1 candle but just a simple one.

hehe it's OK, let them take their own sweet time at walking. Now that he's walking, he doesn't want to be carried! Always want to walk on his own..then climb/crawl under table, in balcony, etc. But sometimes he gets tired and he begins to crawl instead of walk...hehe... So..enjoy the crawling stage for now, you mummies :p

Haha, what I ordered from bday direct was on impulse since i didn't even plan for a party! I ordered some kiddy stuff like the paper blower lah..party hats, and erm..seriously i can't recall..! Oh yes, of course, the goodie bags with the "No 1" on it...

I intend to throw in some tidbits, maybe pocky chocolate/strawberry sticks, twisties, etc. It depends on who yr "party audience" is I suppose...

I intend to just buy a simple cake to be eaten ...I'll choose my own favourite flavour too (&amp; not baby's)..hhehe

i get the winnie No1 candle at parkway parade: Party Jones. You can try etting fr there. $5plus. abit wasted though cos only lighted for a while then throw liao. hehe.....the winnie still in good shape after we blew the candle. Bought it cos the party theme is winnie the pooh n my boy like winnie.

i having headache what to put in the goodie bag end up buying more then 10 kinds of tibits cos got 2 groups of kids 1-3yr n bigger kids so their goodie bag need different tibits.

wah biang, after Cookie has recovered from viral fever ordeal early this week, my HB seems to kena his virus, now high fever for the past 2 days. I have to take care of him cos in laws already on holiday.
so Tired.....

i have been having what they called false contractions lately. is it normal?
 
re: PD vs GP vs A&amp;E
I was thinking of PD when Cookie had viral fever but thought A&amp;E is more appropriate cos so afraid later he fever until stupid. It's that kind of feeling that you are so afraid you'll be guilty if anything happens to your baby.

now i try to brew barley water for Cookie on a regular basis to cool him, esp in this hot weather

me and HB pro KKH, so first thing is sent Cookie there. Even now, his PD is there.

Naqia, Miss Tan,
now Cookie has fully recovered by HB is down for the whole of last week with flu + fever + sore eye + cough. until now still hasn't recovered. he's a "mummy's husband". I have to cook and look after him cos he doesn't know how to take care of himself.
Me still ok, although another new colleague has resigned, now doing 3 person's job. but don't care, just knock off at 6 and go massage twice a week.

tue i'm going PD with Cookie for his 1 yr old jab. So only free on Thur.
But every tue will be off for me in May.

I gotta hold it at hotel cos too many children liao n I hired an entertainer for the children lor, if not they'll be super bored. Im holding at Pan Pacific. $45++ per head for hi-tea buffet lor. Btw I ordered the agaragar n Mrs Chan has added in transportation fee frm May onwards...sobsob...

i have put in koko crunch, stationary set and sweet for the older kids. but for younger ones like our babies, should be toys and baby biscuit.

Hubby challenged me to be SAHM..haha, he knows I cant stay still.

Ryan is sick, caught some infection. Went to see PD at sengkang, waited 4 hours. Every 3 to 4 hrs, measure temp and give medi. See him so cham...slim down le.

Thanks all for letting me know where to buy the candle. In the end, I ask the cake maker to make a special candle for me.

BTW, any mummies feel that your child is not sleeping so well now? My girl used to sleep at 9pm. Now, we switch off the lights at 10pm, she is still talking and rolling in bed, dont want to sleep. And she has also started to refusing milk. So have not gain weight from 11th month till now.

Cheezel, which hospital will you be delivering?

my mil says as bb grow they will nap less, maybe ur gal nap too much during day time? now my boy too used to sleep at 8+pm, dropped his afternoon nap to once n 2 hrs only then nite time sleep at 8-9pm.

Mummies, I want to share this terrible experience with all of you so that you will not end up in the same situation as me.

I order a cake from eCreative for Shyanne's birthday party yesterday. And guess what.. THE CAKE DIN SHOW UP. I made all my guests waited just for the cake until 8pm before I got my brother to rush out to buy a cake. And we can't get any big cake cos we din order in advance, so ended up with a 1kg cake for ard 60 ppl!!!

I spoke to Florence from eCreative to confirm the order and everything and they have my contact no. (benefit of the doubt that they can't find the location).. they could have called me..

Mummies.. pls do not order from eCreative if you don't want to end up like me. Can you imagine all the time and effort me and hubby has put into it to make the birthday party a perfect event, and ended up without a birthday cake??

I don't think I can take any explanation. End of the day, the cake din show up with all the confirmations. Further, if they have any problem, they should have just called me. That's y I decided to do the posting here to pre-warn all mummies..
