i saw kiddy palace got sell cloth diapers....dunno if those departmental stores for kids section got sell anot.....
once u start vomitting hor, limit ur meal to small small portion. i did tat for a week or 2 and increase my intake when my nausea subside.

receiving blanket is it tat at one corner, theres little cover which can cover the baby head one ah??
i saw my niece wrapped in a blanket which theres a cover to cover the head one leh when she baby that time....dunno if its tat.

I think even neighbourhood shops also have the cloth diapers ah. I heard from a friend that the quality now not so good leh, after 1 wash there's those furry things come up liao....there's one thing which is a must to buy...ear thermometer. Need to monitor their temp very jab. And also cotton pads/balls...need plenty cos to clean eye, nose, chin, ears...etc

your gynae can deliver for u at both hospital? u may want to go for their maternity tour to help u decide which hospital to go? u can go to their website and call them for a maternity tour.

i just called the general line and tell them i would like to attend maternity tour, they will direct ur line to the person in charge
That time i went for maternity tour for TMC, MT Alvernia and Eastshore, i prefer TMC personally so will be taking TMC loh
I also kapo to see KK hospital and Gleneagles maternity tour but the maternity tour on weekdays so not taking leave, so did not go loh

u still vomit last night? i was chatting with cheetos and waiting for u...then cheetos left to do other things...end up i go sleep v early.
if u still can tahan apple, wanna try some green apples? eat 1/2 or 1 hr after ur meal....depending how fast u feel nausea n wanted to vomit. i always take a bite and then suck out the juice, then bite off the flesh of the apple....hehehe....i think it helps for my case too.

my colleague told me she went for this malay massage tat can help her to shift the baby to the correct position if it is not....n if feel uncomfy, then the massage will make u feel better....or if got low placenta, then the lady will massage and shift the placenta up. dunno leh....sounds amazing....but i dun dare try

cheezel, i tink jamu is the malay massage whr the malay aunties wrap the person up. my fren say its reli hot n u cant shower after the massgae, until the next day, so whole body is hot and oliy, sounds gross rite.

btw, what u wear to the wedding dinner? my company D&D is next sat. n when i look into my wardrope, not a single pc of dress or top i can fit into now.....so sad. hope to find something casual ma cos the theme is schooling time....but in the end, all cant wear liao....haiz!

Did u sign up the FBI from TMC? I just seen my gynae tis morning. Supposed to be next week, but I spot again so went to see her. Next visit is my 13 wks so she asked me to either do NT or Oscar...I chose oscar. U did tat too rite?
Today BB measured 3cm at 10 wks...initally baby not moving, asked gynae why like tat, she said depends on the mood one la, then suddenly, babt started to kick legs and hands and flip...ha ha. so funny.

They give me 3 books on pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding (worth $48), 2 cds, sample of milk powder and other freebies etc. I got discount for the oscar test at 10% off and also subsequent scans and also discount for antenatal class. plus i can use the card to off set the delivery bill at a certain amt. All in all, if offset everything, i think it still worth to get the card. Think Taro also signed up for this program.
But its all up to indiv....its not a must to sign up for this.

Good Morning, Everyone!
I went to eat dim sum for breakfast yesterday morning, vomitted half of it when reached home. Ate 1 Egg Tart at 4plus. Ate a Cheese&Ham Bread at 5plus to 6. Dinner at 8plus, but ate little rice oni and more veggie. MIL Cooked Chic Curry, but I oni eat 1 piece of Small Chic, didnt drink the curry.
In the night, I had my worst diarrhoe ever in my whole life...
It Was sOoo PainFul and miSerable till I kept having cOld Sweat, cant breathe and nearly fainted...
in the tOilet.
After Poo-ed, really a big one, I felt so much better and went to sleep.. Tis morning, dun dare to drink milk, oni ate 1 piece of white bread.
Will last night diarrhoe affect the BB? Im so worried...

Knottsy, I heard from my sis the concentrated bird nest is also available at YU REN SHENG.. But I dunno which Medical Hall ones are better. I guess we can eat it straightaway from refridgerated or warm it up. Its up to the individual taste ba. For me, I prefer to warm it up abit...
I think u can just tell the Medical Hall you wanna take alook at the Bird Nest and then u can make comparisons between different Medical Halls or hear friends recommendations..

My first pregnancy i didn't take all these 'bu ping' leh. Maybe jus i bottle and that's it. I only took coconut juice at later part only.
Sharkfin soup to take occassionally is ok. Previously i crave for it everytime. So in the end i bought something similar and cook them as and when i like. Hee...

So once born, wrap them up and they feel better lor. If you dun they will start to kick and love around loh. Even if you wrap them up, they will still wiggle and struggle and then the blanket will came loose too.
The receiving blanket can be used not only during the day when discharge. When they're newborn, we still need to bring them to PD or polyclinic for checks if they have jaundice....so to prevent them to catch a cold, you still need to wrap them up ah. So that's when you need it too...or if you were to bring her/him to in-law place? Like my hubby still wants me to bring my gal to my MIL place so they can see her.
