how have you been? haven't seen you on the forum for a long time...

i'm steadfastly refusing to toilet train him until he's ready. he still poos into his diaper w/out telling me sometimes, so i guess he's not ready yet. but certain times when he's up to it, and able to articulate "poo poo", i will just ask him to poo in his pampers.

i think they only accept students from 2 years old onwards. yah, will be quite fun if he goes to learn drama. but i'm still interested to let him pick up ballet (cos he loves to turn circles at home till he gets dizzy hahaa)

Brought him to see GP last nite. Cant see any sign of HFMD & ulcer in this mouth.
But if throat has ulcer, doctor will not be able to see it. So we suspect either he has
sore throat or ulcer cox he has difficulties while drinking his milk. We r monitoring closely on him now...

poor jayden. hoep he gets well very soon. cher once had an ucler in her throat n we din noe but she jus kip crying n cant drk at all. she ran a fever n d pd managed to show us d ulcer in her throat n they classified it as hfmd.
u can try spoonfeeding jayden something cold like diluted orange/apple juice or cold barley fr fridge. d 1st 2-3 days were tough but she got well by d 3rd day n cld drk agn. pd told us dun force them to eat since is painful. jus try to give fluid bit by bit. they wont go dehydrated if they are not vomitting too much (usually wont) at d same tx.

if jayden is not too fussy about visiting another doctor, then maybe you should bring him for a second opinion, since in cher's case it was classified as HFMD. and you'll have to let the school know, because above a certain number of cases the school will have to exercise a mandatory shut down. not too sure what the threshold is.
he can take ice cream? my colleague's kid survived on ice cream during HFMD phase. i think marigold jelly is easy to eat also.
on a sidenote, i myself have three ulcers on my right lip now. ok, mine's definately not HFMD. i bit myself very hard accidentedly on saturday when i was having lunch outside. was bleeding quite a lot that the tissue paper looked like kaizer's ketchup tissue paper. i think d ever had ulcers before. it's painful for adults, i think it'll be a lot worse for the children.

but there is no medication for hfmd, paracetamol wld help to relieve some pain n discomfort. u can give paracetamol abt half an hr b4 jayden's milk feed or abt an hr b4 his bedtx.

i tried 西瓜霜, bonjela & salt didn't cure my mouth uclers.

isabelle got viral upper respiratory tract last week. fever spiked to 40 degree (highest) and fever was up and down x2 lasted for about 1 week. we brought her to KK A&E. the doc didn't prescribe medication for her throat. only paracetamol & bifen. wondering which herbal extract cher's PD prescribed?

after fever, she got cough (cold type) as i gave quite a lot of "ling yang" to reduce the heatiness. and, i gave her some ice cream to "boost" her appetite.

my doc said coz the fever cldnt go down, the virus attacked my voicebox, hurts still, actually i just got my voice back 2 days back. but still not my normal voice yet.

last 2 weeks, i was coughing badly like TB patient.
cough until vomit.
i went to TCM (eu yang sang). recovered in abt a week.
didn't go to GP cos most of the drugs cause drowsiness.
coughed for 2 weeks and i lost 1-1.5kg. good or no good?

Pls note that it's not free ok. It's chargable at $35 but if you sign up for the package, this amount will be deducted.
Personally, I've not been there myself so I can't comment but we can have a private class on a Friday at 2pm, if we have 6 or more participants.
No obligations ok. Coz I know $35 is a bit too expensive.

i have a friend who's called jade. her chinese name is "he yue pei", sounds a bit like the chinese pronounciation for jade, i think it's a sweet name
by the way, how's jayden? is he feeling better already? i think have less and less students going to school. yesterday when i dropped kaizer off at 8.15, only had him klaudia and sophia. this morning only have him and sophia. i was joking with the toddler teachers that today one teacher can take care of one toddler each
