Mummies
Talking about falls...another high accident prone thing which I am very worried about is my boy may get his head hit on the table corners or sharp furniture corners...me that time want to go for bali resort theme decor so never thought of child friendly furniture lah...now quite headache on how to prevent such accidents from happening ...buy those spong thingies to stick at furniture corners? Then the house will be very ugly looking rite ??

Taking abt hide & seek, Jayden loves it! Sometimes either myself or hubby will hide in the room & called his name. He will follow the voice & look for us. When he catched us, he will laugh until so loud! So funny...!!

Thats what i did. I bought those rubber spong & stick on the sharp corners. Guess what?? Jayden actually pull up all the rubber spong! He really really very naughty! So now even those rubber spong also cant help much!

Spring: They have clear silicon ones (I'm trying to buy also) so it won't be so obvious =)

I need some also cuz my coffee table which she loves to clmaber on also got sharp corners. Frankly speaking, I am more worried about her getting into my display cabinet which is not locked. Will probaby go and get a new one or just keep all my crystals.

I just spent $$ again ;P i ordered 2 sets of the haenim playyard!!!! *argh* but I think it is a necessary, esp if I want her to play in an confine area. I even threw in $$ for the 100 play balls :p I think she will go mad playing and we will go mad cleaning the balls.

Darbebe: u referring to the shelled peas or the entire pod?

I give shelled peas to date. I haven't given the edible pods yet.

Shelled Peas you can steam or just throw in to cook with porridge.

Edible pods also can be shelled, finally choped (the skin) but the sides can be pretty stringy - so must remove carefully. Perhaps you can steam and when mashing, take out the stringy bits?

They said to shell the peas, so no pods.

1. If using Fresh Peas, open the pods and scrape out the peas from the pod. If using frozen type of either Peas or Green Beans, cook according to package directions.
2. Place fresh peas into a steamer basket in a pan with a just enough water to slightly show through in the basket.
3. Steam until very tender; be sure to check on the water level.
4. Reserve any left over water to use for thinning out the peas.
5. Place into your choice of appliance for pureeing and begin pureeing.

At this stage, I don't puree the peas anymore cuz when I use frozen shelled peas, I soak them in water, then peel off the skin then dump the inside to cook with the porridge in slow cooker. It will be soft enough for my girl to mush.

Note that if you don't remove the skin, it will be quite hard to mash it, so better to put into a food processor to grind it up.

Darbebe: I used frozen organic shelled peas. Typically once the peas are shelled, they lose the nutrients quickly. So Snap Frozen Shelled Peas are a good option as they are frozen almost immediately after being shelled, so they retain most of the nutrients.

I intend it to be a light luncheon - not heavy duty full feast so I'm thinking of

1) ordering DIY popiah from qiji, together with some mee siam and laksa (no mee siam or laska if I get bee hoon from someone else).

2) ordering some kueh pie tee and chicken wings (micK to give me contact)
