just received a call from a hokkien-speaking uncle who was so rude!! he said he wants to deliver books to me now (i suspect is flash cards).. i said we agreed on Saturday then he start to grumble.. wau piang! i told him to send to my hubby's office (quite near my place).. hiaz.. hope he doesn't cock-up.
Can u go scold the flash card fellow?! i mean, if he can't send on Saturday, then he shouldn't promise you/us.. then now this rude uncle makes it sound like it's my/our fault like that.. so irritating!

i wanted to turn him away.. then the fellow said something like Sat "where got lorry come out".. so i was thinking, not sure is it he comes out from Malaysia? if that is the case, I don't want to be mean la.. cos if he drives all the way out from M'sia, then not nice lor.. but I m only assuming.. cos it could just be lorry come out from warehouse (in SG?).. anyway, that uncle also not appreciative.. as in, he didn't even allow me to complete my sentences.. just very rudely brush me off and keep complaining.. so i just give up trying to reason with him and told him he can send to my hb's office..

I m a lazy n bad mama.. if EJ doesn't want to eat, I just stop feeding! Sometimes i feel bad cos he is a bit thin (10kg now).. but i find it too tiring to force lor.. and I dun have the patience to run after him and feed.. so I just leave him be.. not much help there!

I used to take appetite suppressants given by GP too before pregnancy. It works well. However I tried to take them after giving birth, all the side effects came up. I didn't even finish half the box before I got giddy spells, irregular heartbeats and sleepless nights. Not sure is it cos after pregnancy body weaken liao ...

my nanny steady. she sliced apple into thin shape like prawn cracker shape. then tian can eat that without problem. i normally slice into quadrant only then she oni bite bite bite for a while then i am the one who finish her apple.

do appetite suppresants really work? make u feel NOT hungry? i tried before when i was young (like 18yrs old).. but i don't find them effective leh.. then i just stop and accept my body lor.. fat fat lor.. i wear L-size clothes all the time and just feel happy. hee..

EJ's IC, they also slice the apple thinly and EJ can hold and eat by himself very happily.. cos he likes apples.. I suspect that even if i give him a quadrant, he will be able to finish also.. but so far never try la. Cos at home, usually i feed him.. but that day, i told hubby to slice thinly and let EJ hold the apple himself.. then he finish liao but still want more!

it works! I took them for 1 month before my photo shoot and my weight dropped from 49kg to 44kg. Then subsequently even managed to maintain at around 44-46kg. Took again for another 1 month before my wedding. Went down from 47kg to 43kg. Then it was all history liao ...

starfruit: my doc is at siglap. urs leh? the suppressant hor.. after 1 or 2 months gotta stop for 2 weeks while u continue the fat burner.. then pick up again after that. cos definitely will slow down as ur body get accustomed. after the 10kg i stopped for 2 months.. so now taking up again. hopefully can lose some more.
irin: i dun have dat leh... thou my hb does. so he dun take suppressants..jus take the burners. but like dat gotta self control on food intake lo.
qq: ur skin now ok la.. at our age usually more controlled in terms of pimples. just that dat alot of old chuang4 shang1... (everyone has uneven oily areas and excessive dryness and sagging skin! results of aging.)the treatment is good for everyone. cos everyone has dead skin wan.. it's like doing a thorough body scrub and start all over again with smooth and radiant skin.

ya no choice, keep changing receipe. Leia is fussy eater. dun eat i also can't force, so sometimes supplement with milk..

pink: i think first 5 kg is water retention..so not exactly obvious.. cos it's the muscles n fats dat is showing!! ur hb on reductil right? i was on that b4 preg..but i feel after 5kg it was super slow liao. as opposed to suppressant, i feel reductil makes u reject food.. as in ur food oso dun taste good liao. while the suppressant makes u feel full while u eat.. meaning food tastes good but u feel enuff after a few bites. so i think it feels happier to be on suppressant than reductil. hee..

pink:i think when they come initially they will all eat alot wan.. cos they dun have so nice food there and palate different. oso they do eat lots of rice there cos its their staples and wat they have in abundance.. eat full liao can work.. no need liao4 oso can wan... but after they start putting on weight..the vain ones will usually cut down on food intake.. keke...then u start to worry..cos dun eat where got strength to do housework n carry bb?!!

Irin, QQ - Oh..so it is a passing phase for the kids on rejecting food. I also dun know what Dylan really likes. Cos all along, he is not a fussy eater. He loves food one, then all of a sudden, dun want it. Ok, I will take it and see how it goes. A kan cheong mum ;P
Autum- why do you have to chase after EJ? I thought should put him in high chair during feeding? Try not to run after him during meal time...not so good.

we put him in hi-chair all these while.. BUT now, he climbs out of his hi-chair! yes, he can climb out even with the waist-strap and with the table-plate fitted on.. EJ is like a little monkey now.. so when he climbs out, i just stop feeding.. dun want to run after him and feed.. haha..

Anna seems to feel if she makes noise or fusses, we will give her some food ie biscuits, cheerios etc. So whenever she's sitting in the car, she will start to fuss and cry. Usually we give in by giving her some snacks to keep her occupied. Until recently, I said we shd put a stop and just let her cry..
And hor, sometimes she will demand for more milk after finishing her milk! I don't give her more, just give her water. And she can sup up quite a bit of water..

Pink, Joelle: My xiao mei mei maid eats a lot too! I've never seen mu MIL place cook so much rice, no matter how many people we have until last night! I got a shock of my life when I was scooping rice for myself. It was really like 2 times what we usually have for the whole family! Can you imagine? But I have told her repeatedly that she needs to gain some wieght and if not, she wont' have the strength to carry anna anymore..
