ok lor.. i m back at work today. tired because EJ keep crying.. today hubby at home.. we sent him to school this morning, but i think hb will bring him back after lunch.

erm, his rashes are better today.. yest was worse.. but generally ok. think he could be eating alot today.. not sure.. haven't check with hb yet.

my back ok liao. thanks.. still very slight aches and pain here and there.. but it's more due to the pregnancy.. the strain last friday, ok liao.

actually right, if i see a man carrying baby, i will hesitate to offer seat leh. but if i see a woman, i definitely will..

they seem to have added a lot of things from the last round i ordered! but i can't rem what i ordered

Its no big deal a man standing with a kid.. Wat abt carrying bags in a crowded train with ur kido??

Wat if train jerks, kid falls, hurting in the process, etc head, breaking the neck or back??? Who's gonna be held resposible?

1) I use comgateway website to order or go to Children's place website to order then ship to Comgateway location?

You have to open up comgateway and then open up children's place from there. Chose US direct home shipping. Not concerige. Concerige have 5% surcharge.
 
Angel: You can order from childrensplace website, using cwg add. Then key in your orders at cwg home delivery page to register your parcel.

Dun be too angry.... This is SG for u. And most of the times only when one goes through pregnancy, gets old or am in the same shoe will understand and LEARN to give up seats for others.

Lets start by educating OUR children the correct morals and let them not be the same as these ppl.

astro, i did not type wrongly. it was teng when we were discussing about the cat fight.

yvonne, bel can still come, this time she has to fight with the whole gang. then tian can siam better. haha!

oh, that stomp thing can post photos just like that? i also no seat when carrying tian from orchard to woodlands during a weekend. at yishun one auntie ask me to sit when tian already sleeping on my shoulder. feel so touched. no seat no seat lor, cause my friend was holding me tight, so that i can be more stable while standing.
what i wanna say is: still have nice ppl giving up seats one. maybe they really need the seat that's y never give up. maybe stomach pain, etc etc. ladies somemore.. u know? its ok. maybe they preg (early stage? also need the seat for themeselves)
 
Yes Linda n micky, its me, I dun drive, so only can travel around sg is in public transport. Listen to gahmen, save the earth.

its you ah! hahaha...im numb about this kind of thing..even when i was pregnant, a lot of mrt passenger also act blur. looking at some of the idiotic remarks, can tell its from the new generation kids.

re: mrt seats
i dun expect pple to let me have their seats, more or less resigned to the fact that i got to stand. but i'm always amazed that the people sitting nearest to me will continue to sit. whereas the ones giving up their seats are either of the following:
1. the elderly (who needs the seat more than me)
2. some aunties (more sympathetc cos they have gone through preg and babies?)
3. some uncles

usu it's those sitting far far away who will shout for me and usher me to their seats. very touched.

I agree with SQ and i also know why? these aunties went through the same stage as us and really understand that if we have a seat, it would be easier for us. so youngster are less ignorant about this.

Aiyah... this is reallie a super old topic dat revolves round and round.... I blame it all on MORAL EDUCATION. If these ppl have the simple understanding of moral, they will know when to give up seats. Unfortunately, the schools emphasis on academic and forgo the moral part for the past 5-10 yrs......

Now when i am chionging into a packed train with 3Ls, I just brace myself and chiong in with everything. And keep looking ard to make sure the kids are nearby. As long as i enter and exit with the same formation, i happy liaoz. LOL

Sad to say, it's usually the chinese. The ones who give up their seats are often the malays, or even tourists.

taiwan mrt has few seats designated for the needys(preggie, kids, old folks, handicap). i noticed tt even tho the trains are pack, ppl will still leave those seats free. duno this is gd or bad way la.

Yar, i saw those seats in the subway too. I like the idea. Similar to womens cabin in japan subway system. Only women and kids can enter this cabin. But the rationale behind the japans idea is to avoid molest!
 
re:giving up seats

nowadays bus 27 which I everyday took got a new kind of bus whereby when u first enter hor only got 4 seats at the corner, think to cater for more people standing, at the back further u need to walk up platforms... which of coz not that safe for the elderly, disabled or preg esp when the bus jerked etc.. thus in front the 4 seats is labelled as 'THESE SEATS ARE RESERVED FOR YOU-DISABLED, ELDERLY &amp; PREGNANT' but hor nobody will give up seats de.. since I preg I also been standing all the way to work.. sometimes got old pple there also nobody give up seats.. quite cham somemore limited seats on this kind of new bus for them.
 
I heard abt duno which country.. I think Japan?? those preggies will need to wear a bracelet to 'tell' pple they are preg and to give up seats to them?? Izzit true?
 
linda: tt's v totful to hv a womens cabin. the taiwan mrt platform has an area for women waiting for mrt at nite. it is monitored by camera. safety for late nites lor
