(2007/03) March 2007 MTBs

star: that dog very cute leh!!! :p.. ok. u tempting me agiain ah.. that time ask me plan list of things to buy for teng. now show me pics of ur nice nice play yard. tempting me to buy again!! :p:p

ur mat very nice.. which design? dun think see it now for smallsmall world bp leh.. and that is what size? looks like just nice for 6 panels..

Astro: good that Teng likes to splash, just let him splash, thats why bath in toilet, less mess, less water to clean up. When u bath teng on dinning table, need to clena up after that right? just change a set of clothes lah. I will put a stool, sit down and let her splash too. then when she push the edge of the tub to stand, thats when i i clean her buttocks lah..hehehe :p

astro,
ya remember, trying very hard not to hate myself. Give me sometime k, I need to bi men lian gong (close door practise kong fu).

Actually I took pic of my newly fix up "farm" also, will post tomorrow if I got time cos mum "ON LEAVE" I have to take care Elisha myself.

star:.. really ah? must sit in the toilet so long? i think very disgusting leh.. ehh. no offence.. chiam.. the things i must do .. to entice him to stand.. haiz... ehh. but ah. i think most likely .. if he indeed pull to stand. will then proceed to 'step out' of bath tub.. and cruise in the toliet?!! alamak.. gross..

astro: i dun think u wanna get my mat for Teng.. Its a Hello Kitty Bumper Playmat, The LG Prime one..heheh. The inflatable doggie is a gift for Rae from daddy.. she likes to lick the doggy's outstretch arms (thinki cos the height of the arms just at her mouth!)..but thats the only thing she licks in the play yard. The green chair cushion is mine, i gave it to her cos she lurrvs to play with the 4 straps on it.

huajing: ok.. but dun close too long. wait spider go spin cobwebs on ur head..hahaa

cool.. show me.. then i can gather more inspiration..haha :p

star,
you got the hello kitty mat ha, so envy ;( actually I want to get this mat one but BP close liao and can't wait so I go and order the pooh wonderland hei...

star!.. yalor. i just stopped myself just now!! then went "what am i talking?!! hello kitty for teng?!!"..

chiam. i really siao liao. u believe me now right? :p

Astro: actually my mat is slightly shorter than the 6 yarded area.. u can see beneath the dog, i used 4 ABC foam mats to cover up.

star: very elusive.. very well hidden. must stare hard at the pic to realise it.. heehee..

i like that dog leh. like accompanying rae like that. so that she wun be too lonely in her big play yard.. haha

Hua Jing: Alamak, why u did not get it fro Elisha, u liek HK also right??
My mat is not from smallsmallworld, its from Bebejoy i think, the other ger that did the BP..i like it a lot leh, its very very nice. Rae got a lot of HK stuff.. u see the pink cushion thingy in the play area,. thats the combi hello kitty baby play gym which can convert into a little house.. this one was her 1st mth gift from my frens. the only thing she dun have is a HK stuff toy, which i dun think i will get any for her, cos so far i never see any nice HK stuff/plush toy yet leh.

star: the two pics taken in succession. ? so Rae changed position ah? she lift her legs to move.. or pivot on her butt? teng very couth one. pivot on butt to rotate.. somoer he so fat.. funnier!.. then today.. he lift both legs off the floor while still stuck on his butt, seated. heng never topple over. els eknock head again liao!.. think must order play mat soon.. suprising ah.. ur 'miserly' virgo fren (miser) let me order ah!! LG prime someomre.. hmm i think he also shor tliao.. heeeee. then i got the big dsicovery table also liao. hahaa.. hee.. so happy.. :p

astro,
hmmmm affraid need to close door for long long time cos this kong fu very chiem to practise.

er dun hate pooh lah, pooh wonderland is the only biggest design available tat time when I order and I like the colour - yellow

hei hei hei dun laugh at me ok Im not dirty fellow.

astro: ya that was why i put the dog in there with her.. its her dog..accompany her to play..hehe.. also using the dog to guard the doors so she won't be tempted to crawl there all the time play with the doors(u can see both my doors are there) and also to cover part of the uneven area (cos thats where the ABC foam mat are inserted lah). see 1 dog, 3 uses..hehe.

yy,
I like pooh bear leh. why you say not nice? don't want talk to you liao.
sad.gif

hua_jing,
just read thru what happened to you in office now. I think you look fine leh, where got no ren yuan? Don't have to bother about those people lah. By the way, your Elisha really good size leh, my hubby came back & say want pump Reyes up, faintz ...

Hey i like the yellow bear leh.. so cute and colourful.. good lah, then teng can discover new hidden animals/objects/things in the play mat picture all the time.. so fun!! its not overly colourful for our babies lah. U need to brighten up the play area, to entice the babies to wanna stay in there and play, so its good that the play mat is bright and colourful.

oh the cheddar cheese muffin receipe (makes 12 jumbo, i halved the receipe and made 9 normal size ones)

1 3/4 cup plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt (dun add if u r using salted butter)
2 tbsp sugar (must put, if not the muffin cannot eat one)
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup (approx 60g) butter, melted
1/2 shredded cheddar cheese

In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (included cheddar cheese). make a well in the centre of the mixture.
In another bowl, mix all the wet ingredients well. Add to the dry mixture. Stir till jus moistened.
Fill muffin tins (greased well or use muffin paper cups) 2/3 full.
Bake in 180oC for 25min.

Astro: hey the sweet bear also quite nice hor.. i also like leh. I think either the sweet bear or the yellow bear, actually i also dun really like the pooh bear, i think cos i have never been a pooh fan!.
If you can afford, but the biggest mat available, u won't regret lah. since ur hubby gave green light liao, chop chop go buy..hehe.
rae twist her body plus legs to turn lah, her butt dun stick to the floor, in fact, she is crawling like a chicken these days, her butt high and swaying left and right.

pax,
the recipe not as useful as the real muffins now leh. So hungry ...

I don't have a oven at home.
sad.gif
Think maybe should go get one & try this recipe out. hehe. Tks for the recipe!

pax: Post in facebook, i will try the recipe but wait for me to get m y oven first.
Ya i read what u post to yvonne, actually i have been giving rae pumpkin soup, u can add some lentils inside, then it will become 1 complete meal liao, very tasty too.

astro: which bumper mat design did joelle get?

WAH, pax, i admire your wonderwoman-mommy abilities. work so hard still got energy and time to make home-made yogurt, cheese muffin, bake cod fish...

before YY came along, i love to cook on weekends. now no more energy liao.

btw, he's still eating bb-food kinda porridge (1 meal) and 1 meal of cereal (with fruit). these 2 meals are both still taken with milk (less than the usual thou). supposed to increase solids and reduce milk until it's full solid feed isit?

Jo started eating adult food already uh? aiyoh, i feel so 'ashamed'. i kept saying i'll give YY egg yolk, cheese etc. until today haven't started...

i wanna make corn bread leh.. think our babies will like. got recipe but no oven, wait for me to get my oven first.. i have been hunting for one, wanna get a compact one cos kitchen no space liao.

pax: see?. u make irin and me hungry liao ah!

irin: haha. star also dun like pooh bear!.. *stick tongue at u*

star: yalor. i like both too.. can't decide.. then joelle told me theother side.. can let teng relax his eyes.. else both sides too birhgt ah..:p.. true also. die . dilemma liao.

my first choice is Dibo one. but reverse too plain liao lah..

ya.. quick quick chop chop. the BIGGEST size..!

ya.. chicken Rae?! alamak. u spoilt ur daughter's cute image liao leh! :p

wahahaha... will post in facebook... vv lazy now.. go get ovens, star and irin.. vv useful. i can dump a corningware of baked rice to cook for 1hr and i do my things.. so shiok.. 1 hr later.. time to eat dinner.. i shelved my oven for 10mths liao. the last time i baked muffins with matthew b4 Jo came along. we were at ntuc today, so i thot i buy cod fish and baked, sprinkled with cheddar cheese, since i bot the cheese for sometime liao. it's a good feeling to be baking again..

veryberry: i also have not started rae on cheese, have not buy any to let her try but i have been giving her bread, today at Ikea, i gave her bread from my hot dog roll.. she likes.. yesterday,s he took a bit of my pau skin (dun dare give too much cos its sweet).
Hey i still owe u for ON, when can we pay u har?

Astro: ikea alexandra's bead chaser still OOS.

pax: u bake slamon in oven too.. delicious.. i add a lot of olive oil and garlic.. yummy!
and not forgetting chicken wings too.. 1 hr and done. I love cooking with an oven, hassle free and no major cleaning up required.

pax - try (for adults only thou) baking cod fish with black bean (dou si) on top. it's super-duper yummmy and so easy to make.

take some (1) garlic (chop finely) + (2) dou si, chop too (for robust taste) + ginger (i usu. dont put thou). spoon these on top of the cod. Into the over it goes. and viola! yummy!

i usu. put the cod on aluminium foil so tt the plate doesnt get too oily. just a tip! gosh, i miss cooking...

astro: corn bread as a side dish.. its delicious leh. maybe i bake and i eat myself..hahah.
hey so when u ordering ur mat? which size u getting?

star:ya. i love kenny roget corn bread.. used to think too dense. not nice.. but now. love it.. haaha. i dip it with chili one lei.. heeheee

i delimma ah!!!!!arghh. yellow bear.. sweet bear.. yellow bear.. sweet bear
