QQ: Tian can say "bird" so smart..
This morning I told anna there's a bird in the house. Then she looked up to the ceiling and started searching. It occurred to me she knows birds fly overhead! But where she learns this from I have no idea. Maybe yesterday she saw some birds on Baby Eistein dvd - Neighbourhood Animals. And then I showed her the animals flashcards on birds..

The stairs climbing, it's quite amazing right? Cos the first time I brought anna to the stairs, she also started climbing! No need to teach wan..

I think I need to start bringing anna to the park. I've never brought her outdoors yet.. Today looks like a good day, ok.. I'll bring her to the park..

bbs have this moro reflex.. which they lose over time. now.. the auto movement (stepping) is 'lost' as bb grows.. but still they have an inistict to go upwards. haha.. walking or clmibing.. :p

yesterday went past citylink.. down the escalators.. though how come got abandoned stroller in the middle.. end up got a toddler insists want climb steps.. haha..:p
 
star: me forgot liao.. need soak barley??.. going to open ur packed of FOC barley.. and cooked it with lentils for teng.. maybe with some green veg and some fruit.. then train teng to say thank you to auntie star for the FOC barley!.. haha
 
Hey! Anna can tell us she wants to pang sai liao.. We were giving her porridge and she made the "erg erg" sound. We didn't pay real attention to her though we suspected she might be telling us so. We continued to give her porridge. After a few mouthfuls, she said it again. Then I thot this time sure too late liao, she would have let go in the pampers. But to our surprise when we removed her pampers it was still clean and she only started to gek when we put her on her potty.

Hehehe.. She made mummy a happy mummy today..

yest brought her to toyrus, ask her to see toys, she go and ga jiao other kids, pull their jeans, touch them, and want to play the toys they are playing? then she will stare at their parents or maid for a long time, then start crying abit?

going down for breakfast, put her in playard, she bored already, kept yelling, brought her back to our bed, she also yell...so daddy brought her for breakfast downstairs now...i feel so manipulated...she will also point to the door, cry and force us to bring her there, and she will point to the lock to ask us bring her out or climb onto the metal rails...very naughty leh
 
i was also just re-reading a HP too.. the book with the Tri wizard tournament(forgot the title, book not with me now). My favourite of the HT book.
I went to PP borders, they did not give me 3 for 2 + 30%. the guy say only 1 discount possible

I was so engrossed with the book, I didn't even go to Borders today.. Maybe I go tomorrow.. Which Borders did u go to? The one who offered my friend a further 30% discount on top of the 3 for 2 was the Wheellock place one..
 
Mejo was also given the30% on top of the 3 for 2 at the PP borders. I was at PP today. brought Rae to PP gymboree for another Level 2 class.. wha i love the class conducted at PP, so organised and detailed and the activities were so much more well planned than the one which i attended (with QQ, carol, autum,mist etc) at Vivo. They had a birthday party there which was why no free gym session today.

Hey i tot u already read the HP's last book?
 
Star: I somehow feel the classes at PP gymboree will be more organised as well. The one at Vivo had too many children, it was both chaotic and a nightmare for the children.

I haven't read the last book, think it was Michelle who mentioned it previously...

Hey mummies.. I brought EJ for Gymboree Level 3 class today! It was so much better than the level 2 class which we attended last week!

You went for another level 2 class.. hmm, I brought EJ for level 3 and I find it very good.. level 3 is good if the child can crawl well and even walk.. of course EJ can't walk yet but he could do most of the activities.. today he is the youngest one in the class and there were only 6 babies.. so it was much better controlled.

I think u can bring Teng for Gymbo level 3.. today EJ excercised so much during that one hour.. after the class, he totally KO!

autum: yes. he likes it. 'mayor' round the class.. only thing was can't crawl through tunnels.. so instructor gave different sets of instructions for him.. cruise and 'walk' up the slides etc..
also took the class at PP.. not exactly in PP.. but opposite PP, got to cross the road.. where the mac is.. take lift up to level 2.. gymboree there...

AIYOH, I went to PP borders today and they still give me 3 for 2 lei. Or at least I think so. I better check the receipt. And hor, today 3 for 2 is last day le.

I din see the lonely firefly and busy spider. I managed to get Papa get the moon for me but I saw only one of that. Today, PP children section also became warzone...
 
Autum: Rae cannot crawl well so she is still attending Level 2. But the level 2 today difficulty level much higher than the class we had that day. there was this obstacle course where she need to crawl up a wavy slope, across the bridge, into the tunnel and then down the ramp..heheh like army training like that. And u know the big rolling chushin(the one Ej walking on now) the babies had to roll on tummy down on it to pick up a ball placed at the bottom. see so mamny activities to train their arms, precision etc. I like leh.
The trainers littered tiny puppets and balls around various stations in the gym so parents can let their babies try these stations. quite fun leh.

Astro: Barley no need to soak. But if u wanna soak also can, make it softer, easier to cook lor. U wanna pay me cash ah.. of cos can lah. I might pass ur thermos to either Yvonne or the other west mummies collecting shoo shoo (mummies here damn fast and efficient when planning collection logistics), so if i dun see u in person, then u arrange for trf lor.k.
 
i feel that the trainer at vivo did not spend any time planning the last class we atteneded at .. unlike the one i went today.. much better planned. We also had the big bouncing ball today, so while parents wait their turn, they can let babies try the various obstacle stations that they set up in the gym.

hmm, what u described for your class sounds like my class too! Seems like the way the class is conducted is really up to the trainer leh.. today at Vivo, the trainer also scattered different music toys at the different stations.. she scattered maracas and handbells around.. EJ really loves the handbell! it's not exactly handbell.. it's a orange cage where the bell is caged within.. dunno if u saw this in Gymbo before?

Hey, wanted to ask u, where can i buy the maracas and bells? Cos EJ really likes them.. I think i want to get for him.

Autum: we got our musical stuff rom a BP here by kidzcottage.. u wait and see if they will be orgnising one soon.. its much cheaaper to get from BP than Gymboree. Hey u can also check out KP, i saw them selling a range of musical instruments for children as well.. not expensive at all.
 
we went to gymboree too. but the one at tanglin. i find the kindermusik class better. the gymbo one like anyhow dump a few things there for pple to crawl leh.

can do it ourselves also. just set up the place ourselves wor...

YE machiam not too keen on her books. hubby said maybe should wait for the next promo before buying again wor. now when i bring her out of the house, she will squeal with delight. other than that, not as excited liao. definitely not with books wor
 
Autum: this is the activity we did on the big rolling cushion.. i like thsi activity leh, train her to balance and reach out to pick up the object.

SQ: ya agree that Kinder is better than Gymbo. Today's PP gymbo class is one best of all the gymbo classes that i have attended so far.
 
Hello mummies long time no come in liao. Yesterday brought Clyde for his mcu test. Aiyoh he fast from 2.30am to 10.30am manz. Amazingly he drink cry for milk in between.

Jusr brought him to Orchard to see the christmas lighting and sadly he fallen asleep when we were driving along the road. *fainted.*

Invited my sec frens to my home yesterday. hahaha... Two babies in the house. Uploaded the pic in facebook. hehee... go and take a look. hahaha..

So how the X'mas party and outcome?

Though they tend to have rounder more developed cheek muscles developed from sucking, breast fed infants gain weight at a slower rate than bottle fed infants especially after 6 months of age. Breast fed infants weight for height may be 60% below the average (50th percentile) found on commonly used infant growth charts. Their fat stores may be 60% below the average. Breast fed infants tend to be leaner than formula fed infants from 9 to 15 months of age. This is believed to be due to a lower calorie and protein intake by breast fed infants.

It appears that infants regulate how much breast milk they drink rather than the cause being an inadequate milk production by the mother. The lower calorie intake and weight gain of breast fed infants is not related to their development, activity or illness either. Breast fed infants calorie intake is usually below the recommended amounts even in optimal environments and even with the addition of solid foods. These amounts can be met by feeding children food cooked without added salt. The average adult needs only 2,400 milligrams of sodium or less per day. When reading a label for sodium content, limit your food purchases to foods containing less than 400 milligrams per serving.

i cook brown rice with red dates these 2 days, just dump the brown rice and red dates into electric cooker...leia loves it!

yesterday leia didnt fall asleep after drinking the normal amt of milk, so i rush to kitchen to make more milk, when i was back, she crawl out of yaolan and slowly fell onto the floor, phew it was a light fall and she didnt bang into the metal base of the portable yaolan...
but in the night, she crawl and somehow knock her face against the carpet...she was stunned and when my mum and mil sayang her, she cried until vomitted milk...i wonder whether they should have pretended tat nothing had happened.

u told me we can clean washing machine by adding hot water into the washer and wash 1 cycle is it? okay i just did tat after discovering dirty patches on our blanket...then i found out the top part of the washer is sooooo dirty, i wiped and see so much cats' hair..and so much dirt accumulated in the mini bag again, formed into 1 roll of wool...i wonder why my mil never help to clean over the past 3 years..
the mini roller coaster..size ok..i find it just nice..i canbring out too..

how many rusk do u let jo eat in a day? i just discovered tat its the 1 thing that can keep leia still in the hi chair when we are out to eat, but i dun want to overdo it, heard biscuit can be heaty. i bought nestle this round, seems a bit dangerous when leia put the last bit which is usually big and may choke before it melts
 
Pink: ur mum and MIL should keep quite and pretend nothing has happen when they see Leia fall. Same with rae lah, when she fall, and if my MIL go "oh no oh no.." at her.. she will cry and when MIL say "Aiyo sayang lah" wha, she burst out crying even much louder. Me now train liao, when i see her fall, i dun make any noise (no reaction but of cos heart will will skip a beat lah). and then i will quitely help her to sit upf rom her fall. I found that if i dun make any noise, she dun cry and will carry on with her other activity... but if teh fall damn jialat. she will cry a bit and after i carry her and distract her, she will stop.
hey u have to use at least 60 degrees water to wash so that it can kill the germs on the fabric.

we didn't do this picking up things on the big bolster.. looks like a good activity to do! as i said, I think how the class is run is really up to the expertise of the trainer.. guess every where is like that bah.

I used my NLB Babybook journal voucher today! hee.. but anyway, if sign up as member, the class will cost $34 (instead of $38).. actually quite bo-hua.. but nevermind la.. hope that i will be goot-lat to bring EJ for the free-play gym more often.

yeh i told them but my mil kept saying this is a 'real' fall so must sayang...i dun know how to explain to them. give up.

i added boiled water into the washer ..then press the 'washed' button and added 2 spoon of washing powder, followed the manual, hope i got it correct.

've bought the egg washer, but there's only 1 water pipe used by the main washing machine already...wonder how to use the egg washer now...

i dun give nestle rusk.. i give either gerber puffs or rice /corn cakes.. healthier.. yes, that's the only thing i can keep Jo still in her hi-chair...
 


pax: are the rice/corn cakes hard? will melt in the mouth or need to chew kind?
