SQ, if u wanna make blanket hor, pls remember to buy those cooling thread otherwise YE will feel too hot. Can go metro, bb section. The blankets are all under a very insignificant rack (lowest deck) besides infant's clothings.

hm... hopefully by then will have vacancy, coz the person told me there will only be vacancy then if the existing mummies discontinue the lessons. we went for 2 trials liao.. both by shauna.. shld hv tried another teacher in the 2nd trial hor... nvr think so far then... stupid me... nvr tot that classes wld actually be full! my hubby said coz many parents kiasu like me.. haha...

On today's zaobao -

suggested amount of food a 7-12mths old shld have daily =

1. rice / substitute 1-2 servings (1 serving is 2 slices of bread or half bowl abt 100g of rice or one 180g potato

2. fruits 0.5 serving (1 serving is 1 small 130g apple/orange or 10 grapes/longans or 250ml of pure fruit juice

3. veg 0.5 serving (1 serving is 100g cooked green leafy veg or 150g uncooked gren leafy veg)

4. meat / substitute 0.5 serving (1 serving is 1 palm sized fish/lean meat or poultry without skin 90g or 2 small pcs of toufu 170g

5. milk 750ml

there are similar info for kids of other ages too. grab a copy of lianhe zaobao pg 4 for more info!

swimming...
theres a shop in punggol plaza...that puts a float around the baby's neck...and the baby 'swims' in the water tank. The kid i saw seems to like it leh....any mummies here got lobang to source for this float?
 
SQ, hvnt brought her to gymboree before coz she is like teng, an "immobile infant", so i can imagine her glued to 1 spot at gymboree... haha.. maybe will bring her for a trial this wkend and stimulate her gross motor skill

speaking of hols, i very jia lat lah.. i still put her with the nanny. and worse still, i make hubby send her over and bring her back coz i am too lazy... so not really spending more time with her... now i am spring cleaning my house. hvnt not been doing so ever since i was preggie. now my house macham warehouse full of cobwebs...

i'm bad with monitoring the food intake of bb. what i do now is to create a buffet style. i prep more food than she will eat and i stop when she doesn't want them anymore. easier this way.

SQ: U hv been to gymboree trial? One difference between Kinder and Gymbo is K is more musical appreciation, all abt the rhythm and beats and it doesn't involve a lot of babies' physical movement; G is abt physical activites in a group and fun manner and it conducts lessons using many equipment in the class setting.

SQ, i use the same method. so everytime throw away food either in the bin or in my mouth, and i grow fatter.
 
sq: seth's blankets are from aussino babies. they r jersey material n very soft n comfy... not too warm for non air con..yet not too cold for air con... just right i find. =) i remember they have very sweet girly designs that i was drooling over! =p
 
I forgot to mention that my ger has leaky nose and kept sneezing yesterday. Other than using sterimar, should I go and buy that sniffle or snuffle thing for her?

not clever....hehehe...but i aim to just pass...when i try to start early...nothing will come out right leh. I wil end up using the one that i started the day before. My hubby also give up on nagging at me liao. He last time used to nags loads that i should start early..blah blah blah. I know i should start early also..but everytime i face the computer to write assignment...i would get headache. But if the day before assignment due date...headache will go away after sometime...

i have many many blankies...for both kids(>10 each). DUn mind getting blankies coz can use till when they are older also. My hubby also shake head liao...and given up nagging on my OCD buying pattern towards blankie....i sometimes also use their blankies for road trips to m'sia. NOth also dun like the blankies...can only use it to cover them when they in deep sleep...

damn ex hor....but i just wna get the float...dan we can bring baby to swimming pool and try it out. I got the normal body float...but i find that the bb will still flop forward...causing them to drink pool water. So interested to get this.

CINA? China? Wah...you got me excited!!! Dun know leh..the lady say her float made in m'sia. Your hubby can ask the locals if they know where sell such floats? I tink this float could be made in china...so they would sell it there too?

SQ: u ming3 fu2 qi2 shi2 shopping queen leh! few minutes time??!! =O think if u become sahm, less chance to shop like dat leh! hee... or more? since u hang out at shoppin malls w ye??!! the float audrey showed is for neck use oni...not waist like the normal ones. =)
