after getting to know so many baby girls and boys, both here and in my other thread, i declared that BOYS ARE MORE CHIN CHAI AND EASIER TO TAKE CARE... GALS? aiyo.. def more demanding... any opinion on this?

Autum: hmm .. coming from a person who was once medically diagonse as depressed ah.. i think it is not really within their control to affect the pple around her or not lei. coz i screamed at everyone when i was medically depressed tht time.. but i was really seriously very miserable.. i needed a lot of support.. a lot of support that time.. and it doesn't help that my 'loved' ones shy away from me.. i am fortunate that my hb and family .. supported me.. else i dun think i can walk out of this depression..
which is why.. i am very sensitive to mums here.. who have problems. once they complain only.. i quickly step in and offered help.. welcome or not. another issue.. cause it is very vunerable to complain .. coz it sometimes hurts if not receiving enugh affirmation.. of coz enough or not enough is subjective.. like i hit PAx's quota liao. so make her unhappy liao. I apologised but i know she is still concerned abt me.. I responded this way tonight because i have recovered.. but if i were still depressed.. it wun have help..
dunno what happened to edde that time.. but i think she needed help.. coz like what she said.. her own daughter.. low birth wirght.. not our kids.. we can't undretsnat why she is unhappy abt.. it is the same like teng overeating i scared.. she wun be able to understand what i am saying also..

u r 1st time mom, can't expect u to know everything. but u can't go on worrying abt everything too.. kan kai. the 1st 4 months r the toughest for all mommies, esp 1st time mommies. like QQ, Autum, myself, we all went thru difficult times. i guess everyone of us has different ways of handling things. with Autum, i msn her, talk to her, now she's ok. u jus to work out somewhere. u have a great friend in Joelle.. she's vv helpful too.. do talk abt it, but like u said, u hit my threshold liao.. maybe bcos i PMS! tat's why my threshold lower.. wahahaha.. *hugs* u r doing fine. joelle.. u know me ah.. i prefer a blank table. or some minimal thingy on it ok..
but i also need STURDY legs.
edde, i FULLY understand. we ar enot the main caregivers, so we got to see open a bit, otherwise our lives will evolve around those unhappy things, no point la. If we can change the situation, just do it. if not, we TRY, TRied liao still cannot, then SEe open. some time later then come back try again.
Pax, Jo is a tough gal, and i can imagine that she is fierce and steady. haha!!! I feel that gals are really more sensitive and more TEH2.. sometimes cannot stand it, a little bit also complain. I was pumping this morning, tian woke up, and wanted to shh shh. i told her i was pumping, then she waited for half a min then cried a bit(soft soft type). I repeated myself, wait. She waited for another half a min then TEH again.. frequency increase, and started to give me very cham look with some tears. ok! i stop pumping, then give her potty. Shh liao happy, put her back to cot and she happy liao. gals!!!

actually i think i can also bring tian to swim alone cause nothing much, just go into water with her. then i dun bath her. I just wipe a bit and go back home pom pom. dont' go swim just before dinner, so that u have time to go back pompom, can still bring bel for swim ma.

Hey mummies: Reading through your threads about Kindermusik, I believe more strongly that I wanna put my son thru the course. I joined the trial and was very impressed with educator Shauna. Like Yvonne, I was mesmerised by her voice and the way she made lesson so FUN. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed. Mummy very tired though. I think it's a good idea to expose babies to music so that they can enjoy the fun of it. Later on if the interest takes him, I wanna let him learn a musical instru or two... dunn wanna force him but wanna expose him to many things so he can make "informed" decisions.
I'm also a believer of flashcards at fast speed.

I want to enrol my son but dun wanna join existing class cos wan my son to start at same footing with other babies preferably around same age, and by SHAUNA. So if I can form my own class of 12, then we can all start a Sunday course at 11am by Shauna...
Otherwise I will be put on waiting list for her new class next year Jan 16...
Any takers wanna form a class with me?

go woodlands pool together with me la. i'm there every sun with YE as long as my auntie doesn't visit me.
she loves swimming. now 2 shades darker than her natural color. she always squeals at the pool, so everybody (my dad, brother, hubby) loves bringing her there.
and she always attract a lot of attention cos she's the youngest. if you not scared paisei, go with me lor

i'm already in the midst of kindermusik with my gal. she likes it after 2 trials so we are continuing. we just barge in a class halfway and no problem. the teacher is NOT shauna, but we're ok with tat. i'm not a fan of any individual. reminds me of TMC's Mrs XXX (forgot her name) that "everybody" idolise. haha.
