(2007/03) March 2007 MTBs

QQ: think pax has already advised us before that when bbs rejects food.. first thing to be noted when there are no apparent signs of other symptoms eg fever etc.. could be sore throat or uclers in the mouth (other wise known as cranker sores but exteremly rare in bbs this age.. if indeed do have.. then must check for spots on hand and foot... cuase skali Hand Foot Mouth).. that;s why i always flip when teng not drinking well.. coz sore throat very hard to detect.. they just cry and refused everything.. good that in ur case.. PD managed to diagnoise everything liao.. guess can draw the link further .. the rash, the fever.. and this sore throat.. are part of a virus infection.. so make sure that tian drinks more water and fluid..

another thing.. hmmm.. pardon me for being frank.. and blunt.. i think by now ,,, among further 'confirmation' from ur PD.. it's is clear that Tian is hoodwinking u.. and i'm glad that u realise that sometimes closeness can be a hindrance coz Tian will know that u love her too much to disicipline her (and then make her cry /unhappy).. resulting her scheudles which can be quite random at times.. as bbgirl put it.. it is better to be firm now. than to try to be firm when the situation arise.. because by then the child already know ,, that u wun be firm enough to really mean what u threatened her with..

as joelle put it.. sometimes.. it's best that the adults take charge because bbs are not experienced leaders.. i think by now.. the inconveniences of letting bb take the lead.. are clear.. though i wun try to trigger another ronud of sentiments of who shuold take the lead.. bb or us.... just fyi.. bbs these age.. are testing their grounds.. and increasinly so.. they know th emeaning of the word No .. though they might not follow all the time.. the best time to educate an teach them is when they are still young.. (from my eperience in teaching).. when they are older,, then u can be softer and discuss and reason things out..i am not saying must use cane and hit lah.. but i think u get my drift,,

thiank abt this.. we all know when bbs grow to teen times.. must let go and reason.. if now very firm.. still got room to let go.. if now is they leading.. how to let go somemore ?

just my two cents worth.. because u have an observant daughter.. all the more such things should be taken into consideration.. tian is no longer young. already 8 mths.. if wait till past 1 then discipline.. headache.. and nightmare comes when they hit the 'terrible twos'...

i hope u wun be offended by my straightforwardness..
happy.gif

enne,
no pro lah..

qq,
glad to hear that u found the root of tian's problem...hope her throat gets well soon...

hmm..tian very smart leh...wait for her to recover then u start discipline her loh...

astro
your advice is making me worry....how how? my mil said discipline must start before 3 yrs old, looks like for advance bb nowadays, we've got to start as early as possible. I'm terrified with those kids sitting on the floor crying to get what they want

enne: good morning.. me up at 7am. but feeling under the weather.. now i sore throat liao. lethargic.. today miser went to work later.. coz i got no energy to deal with cranky bb.. but teng slightly beter. can eat more now. so can sleep properly liao.. schedule not as haywired liao..

Edde:
happy.gif
u sound very excited.. dun worry abt finger feeding.. coz during Pd's visit yesterday.. i learned many new things.. (and all those ensured me that teng is ok.. ).. share with u later. coz need to habe lunch and cook some porridge for him soon..
me saw the bb yoplait yogurt on sale too.. but scare scare to get now.. skali another recall ah!
sad.gif
.. but seems like now they selected stores then sell liao.. used to be every cold storage have one..

Mash: teng 's much better.. thanks for ur concern..
happy.gif

and i believe all bbs are smart.. sometimes too smart.. while we continue to exxpose them to creative eactivites to increase IQ/EQ or whatever other intelligences they have.. i think the basic deserve as much attention.. the old saying.. 'spare the rod, spoils the child'.. the chinese saying" rotten wood cannot be carved' (edde, me sucky hanyu pinyin.. but something something mu be ke diao.. right?).. so before bb grow up into a nightmare..elinminate and remove anything which could be contributed to the possible nightmare.. we all seen how horrible some toddlers can be , sit on the floor cry cry cry to get things they want..? we wun want to be in the shoes of their parents.. so start discipling young.. very young..

back from lunch.

see yee.. so its ying huo cong ah.. i see.

Astro, won't be offended la since we have advice here and there, must also listen and analyse properly ma, then can put into use. see ah, this shows that i am actually not ready to be a mum. haha! really yo, headache headache like pink.. to make things more consistent, i need to write down all my rules leh, otherwise haywire again. cause me myself super forgetful and i multiple standards. sekali i made things worst then jialat.
the fever & rash came in 1 week before sore throat, then i never link these togethers cause i never RECORD these and got to refer back to back leh.
i think tian's routine is also not so consistent cause she small tummy, drinking not consistent then hard to fit into a fixed routine. somemore, she had been taken care by so many ppl by now, its also part of my fault due to family arrangement. i think now she big gal, much better (except milk drinking)..

her bb care stories i can write a book to sell already... drama rama and so complex.

astro, hope teng is better and back to his super good appetite..
actually i made yogurt leh. hb said too sour. i let tian tried, she ok leh. haha! i put apple puree inside. but hor, i let it SET for 1.5 days leh.. cause it was still super watery, then i waited and forgot, by the time i remember, then already 1.5 days, set nicely... good texture. ... can hor?? haha!

i also worried about discipline.. sigh!! i dun want to shower her with all my love but she come back to me with all her shit after few years.. got to think about it..
pink, we really buey zai la. haha!! must be FIRM.. meanwhile, still shower them with love.

pink
throwing tantrums is part and parcel of growing up... it's a phase our kids will DEFINITELY GO THRU! it's known as TERRIBLE 2 (T2 for short)... u jus got to manage it and know what triggers the tantrum and try to avoid it. but that doesn't mean that u got to give in...

i agree with astro and ur mil, discipline starts young and kids these days r damn smart. they know who they can bully. Matthew refused to sit and eat at my mom's dinner table during mealtime. mom and mil let him be and "chase" after him for him to eat. I HATE IT! fr young, i always insist that M sits at the dinner table, in his chair for meals. when i'm ard, he would guai guai sit with me. my mom said he only does it when i'm ard. i replied that that is of cos, bcos fr young, i trained him so and i took no nonsense. whereas my mom and mil jus let him be, so now they got to take his nonsense not me. For Jo, now they know, so she got to sit in her chair for her meals, make her know and understand that meals r to be taken at the table. even if it means that i have to entertain her with some toys etc, it has to be at the table.

Kelley
u dun shot shot, k? Gain IQ is for kids >1yo.. ur A not drinking much milk, u still wan to change? aiyo.. she needs all the nutrients...

Pink: just go to east coast park.. sit on the breakwaters.. think through on the values that u want Leia to have.. do some serious reflection.. and then develop some strategies.. and be VERY firm once u start implementing them.. perpare urself for heartache.. when bbs cry AT u.. but tell urself. u are doing this for their own good.. and u are teaching them.. because u love them VERY much.. these kind of 'short' pains are nothing.. coz if they grow up commit crimes and such.. they are not be blamed.. WE are to be blamed..
happy.gif
... ehh.. i sound to serious ah?.. ehh.. sorry.. that's me when it comes to issues which really matter to me..

u have wise MIL.. my mother will tell me.. teng is still young. when he older then teach.. then i will tell her.. he already bullying u hor.. how come he will guai guai sit in high chiar finish everything wheni am around? and wheni am not around. he demands to be carried to be fed.. he twelve kgs lei.. ur arms no sng meh?? she went queit..

another thing.. mornings.. miser always say teng full liao.. dun want drink liao.. coz he fuss mah.. then i will sigh. wake up very moodily.. then bring him to another corner.. he will finish all his milk.. miser will say.. how u =make him do that?.. i tell him.. see lah.. u stil tell me must be firm with him.. he knows u will let him around and not finish his milk liao!!! --> which means i very tired all the time.. morning can't sleep in.. noone else inmy family can make teng guai guai sit and finish his food and feeds..

u terrified with kid sitting on floor whiing? i am IRRITATED withthem.. feel like giving them a slap.. share with u again. tha ttime when still preg.. went Toa payoh kiddy palace.. have open spac and somre chairs.. so i sit outside whbile miser go in get something. i was observing the bbs and the interaction with the parents ...

got 1 family. wah biang.. mum threathens to leave.. keep shouting at her kids' I want to go liao.. u dn go.. i go without u ah!!.." kids ignore.. continue play.. she shouts again.. " i really going liao hor"... kid ignore.. then she kept shouting that for dunno how long lei.. at least 15 mins.. i was very amused.. and also very irritated.. was telling myself "just fuckingly leave!!! child will follow one!!! ".. so when mise r finaly chose the best bargain he could get.. and we leave.. the mum still there shouting at the child to leave th playground..!!! *faint*.. half an hour hor. the duration.. malu or not??

learn from Pax.. say what u mean.. and do it.. in spite of all their protests. keep doing untill they understand what u saying.. do that to Leia.. say a firm No.. even though she will eh.. then distract her.. i think u will be able to do a good job
happy.gif

hi pax: think i would go Dr one for a visit these days.. Dr low is knowledgeable.. but too queit.. half the time. i am the one talking..paiseh.. :p

KELLEY-no la but I working so can't make it at times, now year-end liao clearing leave so hope to make it one day.
happy.gif

mash- Jaylen not Jayden right? see I rem now. hehe.

astro_pro-I feel 'guilty' after reading ur 'lecture'.
blush.gif

astro.. pax . two of u like guru of discipline here.
ya i also dun want my gal lying on floor and cry.. super sian about this. and super malu sia.

nowadays, i try to avoid things that make tian throw tantrums, cause i dunno how to handle. so far so good la. not yet making me burning my head. jialat.. i cannot imagine what will happen if I dun discipline her.
at least now i have insisted something since young.
- sit on high chair while eating
- wash hands after meal (i wanna make her wash hands before and after)

but milk and food i more lenient.. dunno why. cause i always think that she full liao or no appetite then we bobian. this is harder to do.

pink, how how??
reflection is the word... I need reflections.

astro, yes u r rite, its "xiu3 mu4 bu4 ke3 diao1"
happy.gif
sound excited eh? i was when i first gave her the cheerios, full of hopes. but aft seeing her toying with them instead of eating, i was pulling my hair !! cheerios so ex and she threw them all around instead of putting them in her mouth
sad.gif

anyway, besides imposing rules like eating at the table, wat else must we be strict with them on eh ??

for me, i make sure i put her on her high chair ONLY when feeding, so that she can associate the chair with feeding. while feeding, i try not to give her toys, until 5-10 min later when she begins to feel restless than i give. coz i dun want her to rely on toys to eat.

CIO part i still cant bear leh.. i will react differently to her her diff cries, if soft whine, i leave her alone, if really crying her lungs out i will carry her. i am scared she will catch my "loophole" and cry out loud everytime so that i will carry her. luckily so far ok.

wat else must we do to discipline eh?

QQ: good that u aren't offended.. another thing.. being firm does not mean we dun love them.. it is actually the opposite.. because we love them. there fore we have to be firm with them..to make sure they will grow up to be good citizens.. and not a menace to the society..

I used to scream at my students this.. "if i dun bother abt u. why do i bother to get angry and scold u ah?? where are all ur brains?? no brains? nvm.. dun tell me no heart also?!!! u all know how tiring it is to get angry and cry when hurt?! why are u all doing this to me when i care abt u all so much? My feelings are not as impt as urs huh?? u all are so selfish.. TOO selfish.. !!!" then SILENCE.. they will be good,, and stop their nonsense.. for a week.. and then start again!! see? want be drama mama..I can join u also!!.. just go teach!.. emotionally draining!! VERY draining.. right.. edde?

today's topic on discipline...i oso stress...i think jaylen starting to show his temper at times..haizz..wanted to be firm but hor, when he cries, he can be very very stubborn de...cry until voice hoarse...

oh, i putting him back to GF routine again..hope it works...he was on the routine when younger..then somewhere, he 'stray' and set his own routine...

wanted to get him back but i scare scare...anyway, duno what makes me want to put him back on GF routine again today...haha..mayb he signal me...

astro_pro-I don't mean a real lecture but 'lecture', see that? I mean I didn't discipline my boy like the way u to teng, so feel 'guilty' la.

thx for sharing astro, yr post came in while i was typing mine... i totally agree with yr discipline method. is it our occupation hazard eh? are all teachers like that? haha...

QQ, u reminded something that i missed out.. washing hands before and aft meals. dats a gd habit. i will do it next time i feed anthea.

my fren has this gd habit too, ie cleaning hands with wet tissue or sanitiser (<- correct spelling?) everytime they go back to the car. so much so that now her kids do it automatically without telling. very gd hygiene habit.

let's share more!

edde, i let tian CIO when she was 2-3 months old. i regretted cause i realised she was underfed after that. then i never use CIO again.. phobia

yesterday hb bringing tian to clinic alone in car. i went there separately. tian was ok for a few min then cried her lungs out. Hb cannot tahan then stop the car at highway and attended to her. HE remembers that I mentioned before, let her cry, if she fusses in car seat.. still he did it.. Luckily he did.. cause tian's hands were kiap by the toy she was playing, dunno how she play la.. then hb rescued her but she already feeling insecured, she hugged my hb tight tight, still crying. Hb gave her another toy, and talk to her a bit. she was ok all the way to clinic after that.
say, if he never check but still head my advice all the way to clinic, tian would have lost confidence in him as a papa..
Hard ah... lots of things to check..
sorry long post.

QQ, i dare not let anthea CIO also becoz she is so thin liao, so i heartpain haha... aiyoh... i am the iron mouth tofu heart kind of person. very useless haha.. i can stand everything abt her except crying! she cries only i shou3 mang2 jiao3 luan4 haha... must learn from astro... tell myself its for her own good!

wow....after reading all the post on disclipine, i starting to feel stress liao...

Really feel that kids nowsadays really hard to teach...somemore now they still soooo young, don knw whether they will understand or not.

do u let your kids sit on the high chair whenever u all feeding them? i no high chair leh, my mum will put my bb inside the walker whenever she wants to feed him....is that ok?

edde, ya.
i think i need to reflect this point.
- strike a balance between discipline & trusts

i need to ENSURE that She will not lose her trust with me after the disciplinary conditions/actions.
today topics really heavy...

QQ: ya.. me too had that edxperienc when trying CIO.. but actually all my fault. or rather miser's fault.. he keep saying teng's overwieght.. keep restricting his feeds. then i blur blur follow.. that time.. depressed nv think.. sigh.. then CIO-ed him when he is really hungry..
sad.gif

then another CIO to rid him of pacifier which is again me casuing it..
i very stressed and guilty over these.. and i VOW.. nvr to let this happen again if i have a second child!!! .. sigh..

edde: iszit? me tyrant in shcool :p.. students see me.. scared kind and wun open up to me untill they know me long enough.. say at least 6 months.... are u ? ?:p

edde: dun learn from me. i can't stand teng's crying als.. i get very irritated.. then i want to stop all the crying.. to the extent that i 'hindered; his development.. he is NOT slow.. i caused him to be slow. Dr Low pointed that out to me yesterday.. :p sigh..

ok..come back tell u more.. now i need to cook porridge.. else teng eat air liao

QQ: tian will not lose trust in u.. she will trust u more.. because she will understand that u are doing these all FOR her.. and not for urself..
happy.gif

ok.. really mus go cook liao

astro, ya man. CIO phobia for me.
i blamed myself for it.. since then.
then i realised tian dun anyhow cry for nothing since young. ok, i told myself i will respect her needs. i will also never do this with my No. 2 if there is. but i din know that if I've been showering her too much with my love now. now still reflecting..

today reflection day. i go meeting. come back and reflect again.

QQ: I have one good example. When my nephew is sitting on the hi-chair. He will drop his teether (or whatever toy he's given by us to keep him occupied) on the floor. My mum will always pick it up for him. He will inevitably do it again. And my mum will pick it up again. So he's learned that it doesn't matter if he's not holding onto his toy properly cos it will always "come back" to him.
For anna, my maid used to do the same. Then I start to tell my maid that she's got to stop doing it after anna dropped it too many times. And the last time she picks it up for anna, we tell her that if she dropped it again, she's not going to be given the toy again. And I'm very firm abt that.

Dear Mummies,

Do u visit the PD as and when you are having problems with the bb and not becoz they are not feeling well??

Do u have any nice PD to intro preferably in the west coz i'm staying at bukit batok. I'm encountering some problems with my elder 1 and also hope to knw more abt bb's behaviour.

Thanks.

See Yee, i think as long as there is a fixed place for them to associate eating with its ok. but does yr boy play in the same walker too? i think i read abt this assocation thingy on babycenter. maybe u wanna dig some info from there.

QQ, its very hard to balance. there is never a good balance. aft being a teacher for 6+ yrs, i hv nvr striked the "rite" balance, not to mention a mummy for 8 mths.

astro, i am labelled as the discipline mistress in my dept, u say leh.. haha.. students wont play a fool with me, coz they know i mean biz, every word i said, every consequence i tell them. and like u said, must be very firm, cannot say say liao dun do, then will lose effect liao. i guess its the same for our kids. must set expectation for them and make them know u will enforce it. but i say very kiang3, hard to do it on my own kid leh coz soft hearted. *alamak*

baby girl, dats something i must learn from u. i am guilty of returning her the things she dropped.

i always believe that kids of this age knows wat is going on though they cant express themselves. so must start to teach them now. like now when i tell anthea "daddy will carry u ok?" she will turn towards my hubby open her arms wide. even my hubby is amazed she understands wat i said.

bbgirl: Anna is at this age when she is exploring cause and effect.. she is dropping her toy. not to irritate u.. but to observe what happens ot it when she drops it.. what is the sound make? and will it come backto me..?.. Teng went trough a period of that .. and i was like.. u throw it agin ah?!! then pick it .. give it back to him.. now he is holding to all his toys liao.. u take it away from him.. he yells at u!!! and u know he is dropping the toy just for fun.. or really testing it.. he has that looik.. and will search for the toy he drops.. then can pick up for him.. he will examine it in very great detail.. stretch out his hand. then release his grip.. and see the toy fall to the ground.. hear the sound.. he laughs!.. then i will pick up for him.. then he will do that same.. so for him.. this is playh.. cause and effect

think anna is at that stage too.. u observe her reaction.. but then again.. there is indeed a fine balance in this..
happy.gif
if anna is not bothered.. and doesn't search for the toy yet.. (conginitive milestone).. then she is just probably throwing it for fun.. not for learning cause and effect..

"Testing your authority

By now, you may already have found yourself telling your baby that the telephone is not a toy. Or maybe in your house the reminders revolve around her tossing her rattle in your face. The fact is, at this age your baby may begin testing your authority by refusing to follow your directions or entreaties. When she pushes back, she's not being disobedient or wilful - she's just curious and simply can't remember things for more than a couple of seconds at a time. The best tactic is to use a simple no, then distract her. "

taken from babycenter.com

does anyone know if sterimar spray can be used together with the nasal drop?.. cuase teng is having a very hard time sucking with his heavy muscus!!!
sad.gif

Pax: nope not me.. I dont 1 2 change ah.. now she drinking s26 follow on steps 2 milk.. I so happy..hahha.. I yuan ming loh.. she still drinking lesser than other.. eating mayb more only.. but at least got intake and still happy and active loh

Enne: weekend leh.??

Tiong: I also feed my gal on the walker.. but I lock it.. and always feed at same plc.. then now when I tell her time to eat.. she see her cereal bowl, she will roll to the specific spot.

See Yee
quite a few of us r seeing Dr Dorothy Ong at Bt Timah Plaza Level 2. Dorothy's Baby and Child Clinic. 64689803. call for appt.

re: Trust vs Discipline
i agree it's a vv vv thin line separating the two. as long as u feel that the child is well, ok, not sick, it's perfectly alright to discipline and CIO or watever he or she is not doing things which we feel r not right (well, he or she may think it's perfectly ok to do the wrong thing). if the child is not well or somewhere is hurting (like Tian's finger stuck somewhere) etc, then we cannot let him "cry" too long. we shld quickly attend to the child and make sure he or she is ok. Then the child will trust us parents that we would be there for them, love them, tend to them when something happen. However if we were to let him cry when something is terribly wrong, then the trust would be lost... eerrr.. do i make sense here? oh btw, if the child did something wrong, but it's really funny, DUN LAFF! he or she will think it's funny and cont to do it over and over and over again and again and again

Hi edde,

yup. my boy will play and eat at the walker too... is it no good? but he don really like the walker...he can only sit for a while, and will cry and want us to carry him.. but when we feeding him, he's ok with the walker..

Kelley: your gal sooo cute...for me, it's not always the same place... and he also won't go to the specific spot. He see when my mum and his food is, then he walk over...

Hi Pax,

Thanks for the number.

i can go whenever i encounter problem with my bb behaviour and not becoz he's not feeling well, right?? sorry for my stupid ques...

edde: ok..*high 5*.. so we birds of a feather.. no wonder we click.. heehee.. but then u heard of the joke..? the kids of teachers are the worst.. coz teachers spend time to discipline other pple's kids.. but come home too shacked to discipline their own!!! :p

ok.. abt teng's development.. let me try to relate the things PD said.. specific to Anthea.. and ur intolerence of crying. :p

1. Teng is not slow.. in fact he has very good muscle tone. Dr is amused how come given his thunder thighs.. he 'cant' pull himself to stand.. he tried on him.. and like the way he does at home. Teng grabbed Dr's hands and pull himself up.. Dr said.. he can pull himself to stand.. i was like.. like that called pull to stand??? .. then i said cannot sit up from lying position.. Dr asked how teng move abt then? I replied " he will scream.. we wll carry him up.." dr tried on teng again.. laid teng down.. teng protested very loudly.. Dr didn't carry him immediately.. put his hands in front of him.. i saw teng took in a breath.. draw in his stomach muscles.. then grab on hard and sit himself up!.. Dr said" ur boy very smart.. know how to bully u.. know that once he cries.. u will carry him.. then he can move liao.. so of course he will cry lah.. coz moving so much effort for his big frame".. i was like cursing teng" go home u will die!"// see lah.. now i got to undo all my 'error's.. now my house no longer quiet.. a lot of shouting.. coz mum and I decided no longer give in to him.. he must get up by himself!! *sigh* but seriously.. these kind of gross motor also must train?!!!! duh...

2. finger feeding (Star read this too
happy.gif
).. not a must.. if ur bb can pick things out.. but not keen in finger feeding.. it's ok.. as long as they can tahan the spn in their mouth.. else problematic got they have an oversensitive mouth.. sensory got probs.. will starve to death kind.. so give them 1 yrs.. drinking from beaker also.. 1 yr.. in fact Dr keep saying.. everything 1 yr is the limit duhh.. everything 'normal' .. didn't do a detailed assessment lik ethat way i thought he will be.. maybe because he has the health booklet with previous assessment mah.. sigh..

QQ
i jus read ur post in more detail. Tian's infection is bad. she got tonsillitis (infection of tonsils), is it? damn painful. vv difficult to swallow. i kena b4
sad.gif
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonsillitis

pink
QQ's PD is actually my PD. Dr Ong is vv observant and can tell a kid's character. i like her. fr day 1 she saw Jo at TMC, already said that Jo is a chilli, vv ORH! how true! she always has lots of tips on how to handle kids etc.

Tiong: because I know its not very good to eat in walker.. cos after all they play there.. so I make sure she sit at specific spot loh.. to make it a plc to eat..

See Yee
usually if i have a problem with my kids' behaviour, i usually call her. but that is bcos we've been seeing her for more than 2.5yrs liao... u can bring ur son for his 9mth assessment and have a chit chat with her..
happy.gif

TSY: no qn is a stupid question.. stupidity is dun ask despite knowing there is a prob. haha. my own definition.. anyway.. ya.. i think should try Dr ong next :p.. for me.. unless i really can't figure out what the whole damm commotion is abt wth him. then i will note down all my observations.. record on paper.. and one shot release kind.. then all the Peds all recognise me.. so they wun ask 'any more qns' when i stop.. coz they know asking for toubrle.. heehee.. but i think it is good to go if u are worried over the child.. nip the problem in the bud.. before it escalates.. else headache for everyone..

pax: really? Dr ong so observant? can tell teng's character.. and tips somemore.. will she talk withu?? and not just leave u to ask qns and she answer and stop kind?? coz if she stops suddenly.. i very paiseh to keep asking lei.. :p..

astro
hahaha.. i wan to laff.. ur Teng is really really smart wor... no joke.. kena bully liao..

yes. Dr Ong is observant and quite chatty..
happy.gif
volunteers tips and ans Qns in GREAT details. unlike a previous PD we saw at Toa Payoh.. she's my one and only PD since Matthew turned 1 mth old.. unless she's on holiday, i see a GP in the same bldg...

pax: ah bish! funny lor :p.. so much so for my 'tough love' principle.. chey.. bcause of my zero tolerance for crying.. end up with a spoilt boy who wants to be carried and 'moved' around.. alamak.. and all along. i thought he was slow! he win liao. but not for long.. i will torture him to death to him MOVE!!! these days.. he is exploring his voice with great zest! screeching nonstop like parrots.. wil shout at u if u try to remove his toys. now i know.. he has a temper wor.. all a long thought he was placid and sweet.. chey.. jo is chili huh? red or green kind? jo should be chili padi.. and teng now slowing taking on a red tinge to become red chili! arghh..

good.. me like chatty pple.. else so malu everytime like i am the only one talking nonstop.. ok. next stop.. Dr Ong .. heehe :p

astro. teng is really smart.. actualy i never thought of this. but i really mean(good for tian) cause when tian screamed for me last time, i asked her to play by herself cause I busy. then she smiled and play by herself.. explore everything herself. now she is lazy to crawl, but always wanna stand..
pax, yalor.. if they think they are making funny things, then they will repeat and repeat..

and. see ah, tian is so serious liao until Dr ong shaking her head dunno what med to give. but mama and papa still forcing her milk. she said we are making her life miserable. however, luckily tian is so playful until she dun care about her food, her pain. its good. and she dun fuss much unless she is really not comfortable and in great pain. so i feel like i need to sayang her more.
when we come into discipline, i have to always remind myself, ok.. must makesure she is ok first.. i guess a few occasions she lost trusts in us.. we made it back after a while. dun wanna repeat the whole process again.

bbgirl, i agree with what astro said. i dun want to make u feel bad la. but hor, i think anna was learning cause and effect too, by dropping her toys, things.

astro, u will like Dr ong, cause she came out from her office and chatted until we left the clinic.
