Wahaha now atas CP strain come out liao!

Think mine was also mild when I got it. I have a theory, the younger u get it, the less pox u get?

I also CAUGHT ATAS breed of CP from kampung, but my siblings all got it after mine. they all developed much more serious (more CP) than me. i got none on face, less than 10 on my body,but about 5-10 under my hair! scratch also nobody see type.

i think i understand a bit.
So the next time i will get shingles instead of CP when I kena CP virus again. am I right?
 
so, second theory,
younger ppl get more ATAS CP outbreak.

I think might be true about the younger you get, the milder it is. And maybe not that contagious too. My sis got it at 10+ yrs old. Little blisters and we even slept side by side and shared food but I didn't get it still.

giolyn, ignore my survey bah. cause i think it is generally that way, but when u were 20 maybe also consider very young. haha!

QQ, i dont remember how many on my body...maybe less than 50. Only remember on my face - vained meh. ha ha.

u don't anyhow jump la. CK got ATAS CP, because her strain is from Australia de, ang-moh CP! That's why we say it's atas.. got nothing to do with whether catch it young or old leh! :p

we need to conduct a seminar with this CP thingy with experts. maybe we can invite one professional to give us the talk?

i remembered i was supposed to take 2 jabs of vaccine and I only took 1. really cant recall wat happen, maybe i was suppose to fly so i didnt want to have pox...so i went for the vaccine, bbut too lazy to go for the 2nd jab..:p

astro : ya.. earlier or later also jialat.. just nice 33 weeks..hahaha! somemore 1st thing gynae tell me while waking me is to tell me tat baby no chickenpox marks! hahaha!

Yuan wang ah! The first person who say Aussie CP is atas is KAEXIN hor.. not me! i don't discriminate between locals and foreign de hor! :p

hmm. for those who dun have chicken pox but thinking of trying for a few more kids. think safer to get chicken pox jabs lah.. with teng.. i was bordering! i was turing 21 weeks when i had chickenpox :S anything below 20 weeks. deformality.. :S

Chickenpox and pregnancy

The first case of pregnancy-associated complications of VZV was reported in 1947. Further studies have shown that most cases of congenital (in the womb) infection occur in infants whose mothers were infected with VZV between eight and 20 weeks' gestation. Congenital infection occurs only in infants born to mothers who experience VZV clinical infection (chickenpox) during pregnancy. Women who are immune to VZV and are exposed to chickenpox during pregnancy do not carry the same risk profile for their infant. Studies indicate that the risk of fetal anomalies as a result of congenital VZV infection is very small (0.4%-2%). Complications that have been documented include: skin pigment abnormalities and scarring (presumably due to intrauterine skin infections), eye abnormalities, brain structural abnormalities resulting in mental retardation, and structural abnormalities of the arms and legs. Maternal shingles during any trimester of pregnancy has not been associated with congenital abnormalities. Non-VZV-immune pregnant women can be reassured that localized shingles (zoster) infection is only contagious from direct contact with open lesions.

now i am thinking if it is possible to have chicken pox with out having fever.. .yh's back got v v v v small pimples. pin-head size...
but few. normally i wun even look at it. now i thinking all are considered chicken pox. haiz..

i got cp when i'm abt 30. took medication so was mild.

astro/star: i also think best age to catch cp is pri sch, b4 psle

ya.. if not.. quite jialat.. i 27.. half dead.. the itch and the amt of spots..

u asked abt Jo? she's ok lah. jus coughing nw. yday morn, she drama queen lah. we told her that M need to c doc bcos sick, won't go school. then she drama lor. cry cry cry, kept pleading to follow us to Dr Ong. say Dr Ong clinic got playground. made me so angry i threw her out of the house. then she sat down on the floor. nvr mind lor. after a while, i went to pacify her. she cry even more, then lay down on the dirty floor outside! me ANGRY Liao, drag her all the way to the bathroom, strip her n shower her w cold water. after that she calm down, stop crying, resigned to fate, went to school. :p
tdy, dun dare to drama liao. told M to send her to school then go por por house..

ya she did mentioned it was gone a week b4 the gathering and was never diagnosed as CP...so she really didnt do it deliberately la.

i know its upsetting esp..this teng and YH had been falling ill..well, suay lor..thats why i say go bai4 bai4. i dun know wats the sms saga abt, so cant really say much

ya lor.. maid (her name is wati) ok la. she even told me in kuwait n arab they marinate chicken w mayo n cheese le.. i ask her she said not bad but best eaten hot n wrap in sandwich..if eg eat w chinese fried beehoon she said NOT nice.. i m v curious how it taste like compared to our conventional chinese style fried chicken.. so i joke w her, u go try lor.. if nice i eat not nice i scold only lol

SQ, my fren buying CB aloevera cream, then also got the earthbest tooth paste. + I buy lansinoh milk bag. (i mean from diapers.com).
 
SQ today i bought a newborn romper (nicer and cool) from TPY level 1, while walking to carpark. haha!!
then i went kiddy palace to change the size of the pyjamas like clothes to much bigger size for the baby.
plus bought some birdnest from fu hua.
lots of things.
 

SQ, i was very fast liao. within 1 min gaodim. then this tian still dili deli and wanna buy barley water la. bread la. wanna take mrt la.
these few days very demanding and difficult.
tian sot sot one see bread shop then wanna go in and use the tong to giap the bread and buy.
