(2007/03) March 2007 MTBs

QQ: dwarf.. ur spelling correct. ha.
hmmm.. i dunno abt height cause bally is throwing a quesiton mark to that.. but weight wise.. heavy than normal. hahaha. so silly . to think i worry abt bally being light.. aiyoh! *hide my head in my bento set*
teng is a very interesting person.. he seemed quite a detached person. i seriously wonde how he will grow up to be like leh.. bally seemed v different from teng.. hahaha. so interesting..

hey u all look at autum's photo? angle or what.. she looks SOOO tall.. :p

btw, have u all thought how ur bb will grow up to be like? as in how u observed them to be? let's assume nil peer pressure. kekeke..

teng. i THINK.. will have miser's reservedness but my imagination..

bally.. i THINK.. my liveliness?? ehh. dunnohow to describe.. certainly i am not spunky! (not a lot. but more than miser!)

kelley: boisterous.. active? a lot of energy? noisy? :p

Astro,
saw your post asking if we slept in the same room. we didn't. for edde and myself, we booked 3 rooms. the 3rd room, we put the maids and EV/Andrea, and this room is connecting to mine.

The problem is, the 2 babies disturb each other. they took turns crying the whole night. Andrea cry, then her auntie pacify her to sleep.. then EV cry and her auntie pacify her to sleep.. and i kept awake cos connecting room to mine, so i can hear them cry very loudly.. and Edde, she can hear from her room too.. and also cos her maid will bring Andrea to their room.. so for the first night, we were basically walking in and out of the room. haha.. for 2nd night, we separate the babies.. and everyone slept peacefully! wahhahaha.. so now we know, it's a mistake to put babies sleeping with other babies and maids. :p

Ash, Kelley,
the trip very tiring cos a lot of changing from plane, van, cable car.. we did think of taking coach all the way etc.. but in the end we thought this is better cos although changing transport, but it's a break for the kids.. so that it's not a long continuous ride.. we scared they cranky.

As for the rides in the theme park.. EJ was very happy and excited.. quite a few thrill rides they still can't go cos the minimum height is 122cm.. so they take the safer rides.. and even then, he is very happy.. He loves the Carousel (merry-go-round).. and Ferris Wheel, boat-ride, car-ride etc.. basically all the kiddy rides and family-friendly rides are all ok for the kids.

As for food, Genting food is expensive. We go food court.. one chap-cai-png is RM$13.50.. very exp lor. Even chicken rice etc.. all that kind of price.. RM15 etc.. only fast-food is not that exp cos it's comparative to SG.. just the exchange rate. so a KFC meal will be RM40+ for family while in SG we pay S$20+.. so about the same.

My turn to post pixs.

QQ,
yes, pearl powder (secret weapon). haha. aiyah, last time i post before mah.. I went to Taiwan when I was preg with EJ. at that time I more than 5mths le. So I bot in Taiwan and start eating at 5mths. As for EV, I started taking earlier.. but hor, EJ is whiter than EV.. so I am not sure if the pearl powder really got any whitening effect or not. wahhahaha.. so I console myself lor.. even if no whitening effect, pearl powder is another form of calcium supplement lor.. expensive calcium. wahahaha..

Astro,
I look tall.. cos of proportion. my legs long la. :p

Ya, food is expensive and not very nice. But we took a free 5 mins bus ride to a "mushroom farm" which serves decent and relatively cheap zichar food.

Too bad tian cannot join the genting fun!
maybe this year end (nov??)we can go? cause by that time bb already 3 months old.
we will drive instead. how? on? haha!!
looks fun!
and can u believe it, edde's anthea is the most pong4 kid there. bravo edde.
happy.gif

edde and EJ really deng1 dui4 in photos.

Did I mention that you should bring some food to genting? at least snacks la. then can munch munch. but meals are really exp.

autum, u menetion pearl powder? i think i forgot liao. haha! i take more calcium now. see how.
detail scan a bit scary, bb limbs shorter than 50% percentile.

QQ,
ya, Anthea looks the most pong among the 4 of them hor? So funny, she's the lightest among the 4 though.
Oh, EJ and Anthea ... think Anthea almost followed EJ home. :p She was asking for EJ all the while. "Where is EJ? Where is EJ?" And the 2 of them were "sticking" to each other half the time. hahaha!!

Star: haha.. mayb u should hehehehe

Autum: bt i thnk cos kait voice is so sharp.. it jst like can tear whole building down.. ya. She screams alot when ashlyn takes her things! Only way to fight back i thnk.. not reali leh.. gal’s body follow mummy cos ashlyn doesn’t follow me.. she more curvy.. follow grandma.. only kaitlyn follow me.. like bamboo stick.. they look like they are having FUN! Wow.. food so ex.. my concern about going up there is also cranky kids.. cos of the coach

Pink: when she is outside also like tt ah.. than how ah.. jst let her be.. rite?

astrO: yes.. she is active and noisier.. cos she wants the attention.. haha..

Autumn, i remembered EV's hoodie cover...u bought from FOX sale. ha ha...cos CO got one, which i think she used 2 times only.

RR, anthea is lighter cause she is shorter than EJ, and RR. right?

so funny le, anthea really wanna follow EJ everywhere he goes.

CK,
aiyah, u dun say mah! then i can bluff pple that I crochet the hoodie cover for EV... wahhahahaha.. :pP

QQ,
this Anthea hor, kept sticking to EJ le.. then say want to sit with EJ, then go hold his hand. :p and hor, on the way home, very funny, Anthea asked EJ to hold her box for her! This box is part of the kids-meal from MaryBrown. we saw EJ holding the box for her.. so funny!

QQ,
ya, she's slightly shorter than RR.

She even asked EJ to hold her things for her and EJ really guai guai listened to her! Then when Autum asked him to give back to Anthea, he said "but Anthea says I must hold for her ..." hahaha!! The 2 of them were cute lah.
happy.gif

oh no... then hor, next time u all will come to forum and see edde complaining about her daughter's MIL !!! :p

wahahahahaha..

RR
13 yrs time!!!!!!! they'll only be 16yrs old le!
i wana go again but phobia of the long ride :p

btw has anyone been to the jurong safra children indoor playground? fun? wana go in april?

http://www.safra.sg/jrclubhouse_facilities_detail.aspx?oid=1079

i was thinking whether to go to universal studio during weekdays or weekends...if weekdays, both parents have to take off? if weekends, very crowded hor...hiaz cant make up my mind.

Kelley
err..usually we try to distract her, talk some sense into her, if its small matter, we'll give in, if shes too much, we'll carry her away till she stops crying. But, i feel we're just preventing her to be a nuisance in the public rather than making sure she learn she is wrong on the spot but wat to do?
does your hubby discipline them? he sound like a doting dad le.

pink: haha.. kinda doting.. but he can't stand kaitlyn's scream especially after a hard day at work.. i m the one doing the discipline loh.. wat to do when you are outside rite? pple stare.. sometimes i just ignore.. let them be.. tired will stop than i continue my journey.. ahha

Astro,
QQ must be typo error la. Edde not in the photos mah. wahhahaha.. Edde is not a cradle-snatcher la! :p

Shall we all go Genting again? Although I just came back, I also feel like going again. wahhahaha.. sot liao.

Pink,
You so fast want to go to Uni Studio? Wait for tix price to come down lor. dunno will come down or not?!

QQ: did gynae mention any concerns for bb limbs at 25% what does this mean, that bb will be born smaller?
not a health convcern right?

edde: yeah anthea is the most pong amongst the babies in the photo

autum: ya now that astro points out, u really do look very tall in the pic. tall and slim..hahah
i did not take pearl powder but rae did during 1st month.. hehehe its my family tradition to give nb pearl powder to ensure good skin next time.

ya genting looks fun!!! i also wanna go. i am keen to fly leh.. how? drive/fly???

Autum: ur joke on future "MIL" sets me thinking, i wonder if next time, any one of us here will become ILs i.e. our kids do pair up next time.. hahah this will be interesting hor.

QQ: i wanna add, rae during my 20 week scan, doc say she has long femur? and i was mislead that she would be a tall baby! turned out she so petite! maybe my BM not powerful!

Autum
price will drop meh? i thought theme park entry fee should be fixed?

aiya how come i didnt know about the power of pearl powder? does it help if i give them now?

astro, please la must b my hormones, it is anthea and EJ, how can it be edde leh? aiyo.
and hor, teng also lost interest in tian? maybe they seldom meet, that's y.
if they are fated to meet again, it will be at RP. but i think this ntuc will call me to confirm a place before RP does.

autum and edde become in law? haha!! wah then mil story super funny then.

Star, u give me hope. but jay said rae is catching up v soon. she has grown so much taller recently.
my boy now having femur length about 40%tile bah. last time tian kind of 80%tile type. gynae said as long as within the range then it is HEALTHY and good. no problem!

pink, tian also had pearl powder in her 1st month. mil said give, then CL also said good to give. so we gave la. yisi yisi, for a few times in her 1st week nia. still her skin so so oni, not very good. maybe 10 years later then see effect?

huingee, i feel that drive is better. but siong for papa oni. jay said drive is better, can bring many things, including food. can even have potluck party there.

QQ, Huingee, Star,
we also thought of driving up initially. but then we not confident of driving all the way up.. cos the road will be very steep. that's also why we took cable car up, and not van go up all the way.. cos Irin get car-sickness.. so if take van all the way up, may vomit badly.. so we also worry if the kids can take it or not.

QQ,
please la.. play also not enough time le, still want to have pot-luck party in Genting? Sot ah?

QQ: haha must bring a rice cooker for hot pot in genting.. hhahaha
rae had 80%tile femur length too but she still petite lah. she is only 92.5cm at last check up. but i think ok lah, i come to terms with it liao, i dun think she will be as tall as me, unless i shrink lah.

If edde and autum really become in law, it will be so funny, dunnpif they will come in and complain about each other here.. hahaha ..opps.

Kaexin: I received the mailer from ON for 20% sale and remembered I missed your spree. Anyway, when I went to check the links, a lot of the sizes are OOS lah. So never mind.. I'll order from ON now..

GO read up some archives first..

Too much archives to catch up.. Browsed through only..

QQ: I took calcium pills for all 3. But Anna is tall, yet Ayden is not. And meimei is tall at birth too. So no correlation bhah.. Other than calcium pills, can you believe I'm still taking the fish oil? But this is my last bottle liao.. Just nice lah, since I intend to stop BF meimei also..
happy.gif

Autum, Edde, RR: So the pics are taken from Genting!
happy.gif
Nice. I can't remember when was the last time I went Genting myself.. The cooling weather is really very tempting.. But S'pore weather is qutie cooling this month, definitely so compared to Feb.

Pink: That dress is very nice. But hor, Anna has no chance of wearing such dresses leh. She still has a few nice dresses never worn before. Even the tutu we bot last time she hasn't even worn yet. Luckily there's meimei who can inherit them.

Star: You looking for me? I'm busy doing this and that. Dunno where all the time has gone to also..
Yah, that's a pin.. First time I use it. People usually poke it through ribbon with flowers.

star,

Hmm, maybe it is just our gynae or his machine huh, cuz he also said YT's measurements appeared to be long-limbed. Haha.

QQ: I wanna add. Actually being short is not a big concern. The thing is, we just don't want our boys to be short, right?? Me too lah.. Both Anna and Ariel are tall, but this Ayden.. *sigh* *speechless*

AAA
do u bring anna to attend wedding dinner?

Leia worn that dress for my FIL's birthday dinner at a chinese restaurant, so need not be a grand occasion.

Pinkpink,
16 yrs old is legalised age to er-hem, wahaha!! :p

I also cannot tahan the long ride lah, that's why we took flight, van & cable car. At least get to move around.

Huingee, Starfruit, QQ,
I think we also want to try driving up but I'll sure vomit, just depending on the severity. :p Coach I think for young kids below 3 might be a challenge. Yvonne tried and she said Sam fussed all the way down. The road goes round and round and when going down, the vehicle tends to travel at a faster speed so giddier. Going up is fine still.

RR, star, Autum, QQ,
Hb and I drove up to Genting twice last time. Not so bad, no one vomit.
Which hotel you stay? That time i tried to book the hotel but many fully book.
