ya she was, tried to poke her finger in and she looked at us, and she shaked her head, 'no, no, not okay!' She was very overwhelmed and stuck out her tongue when all of us sang b'day song and targeted at her. She stood there smiling and didn't know how to react. It was a wonderful sight:)

is Xavier birthday over? if not, then u can still consider getting a small cake. For EJ, other than the big cake in school, we also bought 2 mini-cakes from Bengawan. Each is $3.50 only. we brought this to the restaurant when we had dinner that night. spam some pics!

AA, sorry, I'm very slow when it comes to replying and reading. This thread is very ....speedy gonzales, and I the snail mail:) So you got a second one real soon after Anna, right? I remember Anna was the first to start walking here;-))) Is she active? Kira is like a 24 hr machine. She sweats so much and her hair always very sour and smelly...yeeeeeee, I tried to wash everyday, even twice a day at times still very chou chou! Any tips?

Kai, it's obviously a mermaid lah...but she got a barbie as a present...today she showered her...she said 'barbie pooh', so smelly, wash mama, barbie popo (butt)!' Lol...

Normally i use the wet face towel to wipe the face n head after any sweat out exercise.
Helps a bit :p

mummies juz want to share this, i am glad we are fully covered by company insurance, today is like beginning of march nia and i have claimed thru my insurance more than 3k starting from jan 09
 
Evelyn: #2 came abt 9mths after. Am glad the gap is small and I can watch them grow up together. Yea, anna is also hyper-active and can smell chou chou (strangely of saliva more than perspiration!) sometimes. I've got used to and actually love her smell! I think Kira is getting used to the humidity in Singapore. Most (if not all) of my ang moh colleagues face this problem. It takes some time to get used to it..

Kaexin: Insurance, esp medical insurance, is a must.

I was thinking of a brunch at my function room. we can all bring something for breakfast... i said brunch because it will be a late breakfast like from 10am onwards to lunch time. I can get nice cheese and bread and we can all split the cost... give me comments and ideas, okay...bye...

My maid is making milk for anna. When anna saw the 1/3 filled bottle, she asked her "why so little?"

Wahahahah!!! She's been drinking this amount every afternoon for the longest time liao.. Lol
 
hi everybody, sorry no time wish happy birthday. happy birthday kids!

Finally after nearing 4 months.. doctor say planning to send little L home.. either end of this week or early next week if his weight gain is constant, coz its always hovering that's why cannot go home. For the past few days, weight got gain grams by grams although not much at least no drop. But his poo still very watery...

Just now was learning from homecare nurse, becoz if he can go home, will need to rent the machine home coz little L is being fed milk via a tube going to his stomach. Earlier on the nurse taught me how to insert from nostril to stomach, quite scary but lucky little L didn't cry as jialat as I thought. I also need to learn the machine controls, feeding bag etc. I think I need more practise.

Although I hope he can be bottle feed, but if this way be better for him, guess for now make sure he is ok first ba.

Really been a emotionally and physically drained period of time.. coming to 4months soon.

Ash_r-I am keeping fingers crossed, his weight gain will be constant, coz everytime when things turn for the better, after that I see rain again. So trying not to keep hopes too high for now, just hope he gets well soon no matter what and where ba.
