I saw the Orange table u posted (29.90). What I don't like is that the pop-on toys, must buy extra from them.. when u buy this table, it will come with some pop-ons.. then u must buy more.. it's like the concept of LEGO.. u buy more pop-ons, so that bb can 'build' more things.. so I was thinking, what if they don't sell the pop-ons or if very exp etc.. i didn't bother to search for the extra pop-ons because i felt this table would be limited to just that.. buying more pop-ons to add to the 'building'..

You can consider the first push-to-walk walker.. i have a very similar one from Little Tikes (2nd hand from a friend).. EJ can pull himself up on that and walk around the house.. so I think that is quite useful.. but u must watch over Asher la.. like what Astro says, sometimes EJ will just bend over and try to play with the stuff infront, and may topple over.. so u must keep watch. Hmm, but instead of this, I saw some that can convert to a ride-on car.. I think Astro has something like that.. it can be both a push-walker and a ride-on car..

QQ: I like to buy things. But I'm stressed up when I over-buy. The stress is caused by guilt of spending so much money, plus the running about everywhere to buy/accumulate things. It's definitely a disorder cos I get obsessed over one item for some time - bags, clothes, bb toys, bb clothes, bb books, jewelery etc..

SQ: One lump sum up to me to quote. And I always "over-claim".. Hahaha.. My hubby is generous with money. The agony is he's generous with money to everyone! *faintz*
 
pax: this travel cooker is expensive right? run on electricty?

SQ: u can bring mor hardy kind of veggie like pumpkin/broccoli/carrots which dun bruise or turn brown easily on the trip for porridge, meat wise a bit diff leh. Maybe pax can suggest.alternative, u can cook ur veggie porridge and serve with baby jar meat. or u bring all jar food .. but hor i will feel guilty if my baby has to eatjar food like for 5 days!

Thanks, temp not getting maid as hubby dun trust maid. Just confirm a nanny near my place. Will try to do dylan with nanny as my mum is v stress taking care of dylan. See how things go, dylan is very persistant and stubborn. Few days at my mum's place still cry non-stop.
Enjoy your stay at KL, not bad still can try to follow GF.

If Leia can walk liao.. then also no need lor.. some kids learn to walk very fast leh.. my friend's daughter.. 10+mths can walk liao.. hmm, I think EJ will walk by 12mths.. cos now he 'training' himself..

re: travelling with bb
yes, me too will be vv guilty to give jar food for 5 days... can cook plain porridge and add vege / meat jar food to the porridge.. i think like that not so bad.. like wat star suggest, u can go to local supermarket and get the more hardy vege like carrot, pumpkin, broccoli... can store in the hotel fridge.. bring a small knife and a mini grater and jus grate the vege into the pot with the rice.. when we went to perth with 13mth old M, we stayed in apartments which have kitchens.. so it wasn't so bad. i could cook everyday. we brought a grater, a small chopping board and a small knife. over in Oz not so bad, can easily get fish and vege.. not sure abt other places, but i'm sure can find local supermarts or smthg..
 
oh.. btw on our perth trip, we also brought along a cooler bag with two cooler blocks to store our vege and meats while we were on the road. it helps that it was autum, the weather was fairly cold.. the frozen meat did not thaw at all.. we were all amazed...

rmbr i ordered books fr wonderbox.com.sg? i got my books today.. 12 of 21 my books! omg.. which means.. i bot almost 30books these few days.. my 12 bks cost abt $150! plus yday $200+! total $350! die.. think hubby will nag when he sees my loot.. that's why i also go shopping during lunch. i can hide my loot in the office!

i think can get cheaper outside.. def less than $100.. the online price a bit too exp lah.. we brought a lot of stuff jus for that trip. lucky thing was we went with another family with a toddler gal. so a lot of things we share. no need to bring duplicate mah.. we save on cost too, bcos get those 2bdrm apt / cottage, instead of 1bdrm ones, which r def more exp.. we also got a full size MPV instead of a small car, the cost worked out beta..
 
knife can bring.. check in with luggage. i jus bring a daiso $2 one.. with cover somemore.. vv handy.. swiss knife will be good, bcos can open cans mah..

Actually I was thinking of getting walker for my kids too but those types that some of you posted are with toys in front so it's either they push & can't play or play & can't push. Then I saw at my friend's place a type like trolley which has 2 chicks/ducklings (I dunno what) in front and they'll bounce up & down as your kid pushes the walker. It amuses the child that's playing with it. There are also 2 speed controls to control the moving speed so they won't push too fast & fall down. My description not very good, don't know whether you all know what I'm talking about or not. It's selling at Baby Kingdom at Kaki Bukit. Anyone seen it before? What do you think about that?

wah. teng managed to teach himself high five?.. hmm .actually i bluff him one.. coz he likes to swat at pples' faces when they come near.. and very rude and irrtating. but my mum loves to do it.. coz very 'cute'.. so i anyhow 'invent' this high five.. just put my palm upwards near him.. he will try to swat it.. and that's a high five!.. i know. .lame..

i must go mustafa to buy that pot first. too bad it won't be well utilised. we should plan trips together then can share the pot. haha.....
