wah.. so early. so many things to comment liao. heehee.. later.. me got 'happening' morning story to recount also.. but let me just eat my prata first.. sigh..

ok. called gymboree. PLAYGYM timings avaiable this weekend.exceot vivo.. coz still nvr answer call..

Mp: every sat (1.15 - 2.15pm), Sun (2 - 6pm)
Tanglin: Sat (610pm - 710pm), sun (1 - 2pm, 6-7pm)
Vivo: TBC

anyone going playgym sun? hopefully at Vivo. between 3 - 5pm.. coz after that want go toyrus and the sit to stand giraffe !!! heehee :p

Irin: *sigh* then miser will be very yaya liao. coz initally wanted to get the giraffe.. he already said.. too light.. the base not secure, pull will topple.. then i argued with all my might that the toy is designed for this kind of pulling.. then cold war with him. coz he refused to give in coz he sure of his engineering instincts. then after seeing ur blog.. after sometime.. then relented.. now i go tell him will topple?.. alamak.. i cam imagine his very smug look liao .. and he will say " i told u so.. how come never listen to me one? must other say then u believe.. ?? " blah blah blah..

now after all the feedback from the mummies here, decided not to.

u dun tell miser will topple lah. just tell him you'll save the purchase now, and get sth else for teng later

morning SQ: i meant boiled the egg, remove egg white, use only egg yolk.. mash.. then mix with FM/BM.. can throw in some 'sweet' veg to entice them to eat.. like say carrot or pumpkin.. on its own. i think also ok one..

ok. i like your recipe better. will try this weekend. cos the other recipes i've seen requires me to fry with olive oil, machiam scrambled egg (without the egg white). i don't like to use oil to fry.

very filling, ya. i should get my dad to eat the egg white. cos he always throws away the yolk. i love the yolk. can eat mine, then my mum's and my dad's. so i wallop three at one go!

re: giraffe
even if miser knows, you will geng1 your way out. just don't admit no matter what. isn't that what the men do ALL the time anyway?!

Cheng Choon store is near to the OG side. Beside the hawder centre beside OG. I can see the advertisement poster at the bridge. But maybe you must call to check their opening hours but you go or call to check out the price.

ok lah, it isn't that bad cos it's able to attract their attention and thus "forcing" them to stand up to play with the thingy on the giraffe head. If worried that will topple, you'll have to use your feet to hold on to the base when he's pulling to stand up lor.

hmm.. all of sudden.. this paragraph hit me relatively hard.. i desperate for teng to start moving.. but this paragraph reminds me that when he finally does so.. he is no longer a baby..

haiz.. no longer a bb who depends on me for his every need.. will i be happy or will i miss the feeling of his dependency on me?? maybe teng is wiser and knows this well before me? refused to move because he wants to be my 'baby' a second more?? haiz..

such heavy thoughts to start a friday morning?? hmmm..

i know. i also feel the same way.
i've read somewhere (again) that it's also a "difficult" time for the children. cos on the one hand they wanna go explore. on the other hand, they're afraid they'll lose us.

which is why i'm glad i've started YE on her CIO before that stage. else i won't know if it's just plain naughtiness that she's crying, or if she's really scared.

this is the stage when we see "behavioral" problems also. then we wrongly attribute it to naughtiness. siao liao!
 
turning 1 is really a major milestone.

i missed the day YE turns eight months cos too bz running around. and it just strike me that even if we're too bz for them, they will still grow "away" from us.

i'm already dreading the toddlers years when she's gonna scream "I hate you, Mummy!" after a quarrel. i'm sure it'll happen someday, whether toddler or teenage.
 
QQ: remember i told u teng dun wake up early normally. and waking up early for some period of time might mean milestone coming? .. well he has been waking up at 630am for two days liao.. i think i know what milestone he is hitting liao.. peak of anxiety!! both!! bring him out in the pram today. just some distance.. go out only.. cry liao!!! i want to faint!

IRin/SQ: haha.. ya.. that's what i normally do.. but miser knows me too well liao. will give me yaya look.. and then say " it's ok lah. i know sometimes need to pretend to save face"!! haha.. buay tahan that horrible man :p

i c. thks for the info. rem i was complaining YE was zzz till 7am, then recently 530am? yday am she woke up at 6am, this morning at 630am. i'm happy with 630am, i hope it's cos she's settled down. and this am, she let go of her hands while standing on my bed. then her butt kept bouncing up and down when she was sitted. i think it might be cos she's trying to stand unassisted liao. maybe that's why the early am wakings. i'll observe and see how.

cheong choon has most of their stuff packed up. nothing much to browse. at least i find it more interesting to browse at other places.

but the lady is good. i called her when i ordered my cot, mattress, play yard, pram, basket for the pram) etc. never need to go down. that's what i like about them.

fighting for survival in the womb more for identical twins? Reyden & Reyes not in same sacs so didn't have the chance to fight inside. hahaha. Reyden's the bigger twin at birth so think now he's giving in to the sister.

regarding your morning episode, i think it's normal leh, my boy wakes at abt 7.30am for milk, then he will not sleep liao. usually i feed him breakfast loh, some bread and make him drink water and play a while... after that, he will nap a while.

my boy crawls very fast now leh.... wah liao, so funny to see him crawling around.

i tell u something even funniier.. todya happening morning. coz stupid teng.. anxiety ah. .yesterday already screamed all the way to market and screamed all the way back.. i thought maybe no bkf (coz just rrecovering from stomach flu) so hungry scream.. today tried again.. got bkf liao.. usual cheerios + 180ml milk. ok.. want to get just a packet of french bean at the wet market.. want to gamble a bit.. pushed him out into the air only.. scream liao! arghh..

gave up.. wheeledhim back.. then sat him on kitchen floor with his ball and walker and a toy.. while i do cooking.. initially still happy testing his voice, palying toys.. then after that got restless. want to move but butt stuck mah.. then what he did?

he pivot himself on the same spot.. round and round.. slowly kind. and keep crying and screaming and fussing.. see liao dunno want to laugh or cry.. he will move move a bit, still seated on butt, realised he in another direction, cry coz dun wan tto face that direction. then turn again. then cry again.. did that for so many times.. damm noisy ah!! i tell him. "just turn lah.. shout for what?".. he looked at me.. turned somemore .. and continued screaming. and cry liao.. this boy.. sigh.. then got to carry him. let him calm down a bit.. then put him to bed for morning nap..

haiz.. still long way to go befor ehis first step.. with the rate he is going.. haiz

hehehe.. yeah, he crawl fast, dun know where he wanna go... hahaha... oh, last time before my boy crawls, he is on the mat, turning round and roung, 360 degrees turn, i just let him turn, as long as dun knock himself. but there's 1 time, i "purpose" let him knock his head, cos sometimes he will just flip on his side in crawling position. let him learn how to control his weight and position abit... hehehe... he kena knock twice before he learns man!

cos you have twins as first pregnancy, you won't have to worry about not being able to handle the subsequent ones.

I don't think Leia is hyperactive, maybe she is just active as both my kids are like that. I give up by let them play, climb then they tried will sleep loh.
