dora,
thank goodness u r ok! d take care.
vanessa,
u tried all the various pain relief methods? which is most effective?
shihui,
so is the cot in ur mil's home already?
mbb, shihui,
the last one was really rock bottom though, so i dunno if i'm just happy that this one isn't at the rock bottom.

yesterday offered my maid some satay n she told me she wants to diet.
i told her she better dun diet, else if she falls ill when bb comes, i'm going to be really mad.
bloom,
ur hubby is v. lightweight, lighter than me! but i'm sure he's v. macho.
not all petite parents hv v. small babies. my friend who just delivered a 3.2kg bb is v. petite too, n so is her husband. her bb was only 1+kg at 28 wks, but in the last month, gained 500g each wk. i was reading motherhood magazine yesterday, seems like high blood pressure, infections (must eat antibiotics

) n sometimes, gestational diabetes, can slow down bb's growth in the uterus. (i'm a bit confused, cos i always thot gestational diabetes will cause excessive growth.) but anyway, i think 1.4kg still a bit small for now, maybe wait a few more wks b4 u decide if u should induce.
karenp,
of all the drugs used in childbirth pain relief, narcotics r the only class that can be taken over long term. it is known to be v. good at numbing the perception of pain. all the pain relief methods hv their own side effects, some affecting us, some crossing the placenta to the bb, so i think it's really up to each of us to choose what we want.
choo,
i tried drinking coconut at wk 35. it's quite potent for me!
dey,
maybe u ask ur hubby to fix it up while u r in the hospital, else where is bb going to sleep when mother n bb r discharged?
