Me ah.. haiyo, fever the last 2 days, but today worse lah, voice also changed liao, right nose got blood this morning, throat damn bad lor.. also got blood. Too heaty i guess..

I didn't take MC, coz 2 days ago promised my colleague that I can make it for training today, so must come lor.. Me is just reading the post quietly, didn't post though..

i beri kaisu....mayb is i ve all kinds of kids fr diff school....personally, i really feel dat kids fr better sch really behave differently....family teaching oso play a part.....but since most of the time they will b in sch, frens re very impt 2....alotsa kids fr neighbouring school nwadays re beri naughty....even in primary school....not like our time, kids gong gong wan :p

I also experiencing BH & Contraction plus backache, bodyache, every ache and experiencing constipation too. But I nvr time the contraction / BH, just take it as it is, but will ask Dr Sim on Sat, hopefully got MC for next week.......hiak hiak hiak....

Last time when we students make teacher mad or cry, they learn to be stronger. come in tell us open books then she go blar blar blar.. u know or duno she also dun realli want to chap liao. We are from Normal Class so more noti lor. Teachers love to compare us with Express class students.
Remember that the F4, zhu xiao tian also from the same sch as me. alamak.. he also not a guai guai boy what.. walk also got wind lidat cos he is from express class also.

like my fren, she false alarm twice then finally decided to go c sec coz she cannot be bothered to keep going to the hospital. hee heee.
her case diff lah, she lives in HK and very far from the hospital.

No didn't have any op recently. The pain i had on my right side of tummy, gynae said it could be appendict if it persists, and if confirmed yes, have to go through Op to remove.
 
MBB, just started timing only today about once every hour. Dun dare to call gynae yet afraid she will ask me to go and see her but i just seen her last saturday...hopefully by tonite will be better if not i think i will call her tomorrow.

CF Chang, besides the urge to do big biz, you got dull lower backache or cramps? If not think should be fine. For me, i remembered previously 1 to 2 days before giving birth, i kept having backache and crampy feelings and wanted to do big biz that's why this time worried since only 35 weeks.

A lot of ppl will ask to use diaper, cos nowadays things are so convenient, but my concept is we are looking for the convenient or the welfare of the bb? Diaper will cause nappy rash easily and it's quite expensive, so what for we spend the money, then later spend more $$ if got nappy rash and make the bb suffer for our convenient sake? I also thinks that too much diaper next time bb the leg cannot close properly, walk like leg open big big like that, that's y I rather good luck a bit and use nappy.

Just my thots... I'm more kiasu n kia see mother ;P

no experience lah but things to look out for regarding preterm from the book "what to expect" is
mentrual like cramps, pinky or bloody discharge, backache, pelvis pressure like something pressing down, more than 4 or 5 BH in an hour i think. (memorise liao cos that time i kept thinking i got preterm so kept reading

does your backache feels different from the kinds you have been having? the BH once every hour actually doesn't sound serious. just keep monitoring and don't walk around too much!

Haiyo, this morning kanna scolded by hubby liao lor..

If I knew, I would hv worked from home liao.. but I didn't bring laptop yesterday also lah..

SO pissed u know? 3 person supporting a similar application, 1 is an Indian, 1 is a mother of 3 yrs old son and me..

Yesterday the mother requested to work from home for 2 mths from next wk.. coz her son doesn't wanna go to school (childcare).. got split personality like that, when others asked the son how's school, he will answered like "Good, fine, I'm ok..." etc..

But every morning, he will scream and cry and doesn't wanna go to the childcare. Then he will snapped at them saying 'Leave me alone'.

My colleague find it very wrong for a 3 yrs old kid saying that. I mean, ok lah, I pity her also..
When they asked the teacher, the teacher told him he is behaving very normal leh.. Only thing is that, he doesn't like to sleep in the dark (my colleague they made a mistake by leaving the lights on when the son sleeps.. so now the son dun dare to sleep in the dark even though there are other kids as well..)

She used to have a maid to take card of her son, then the maid went home to get married.

Her maid last time do activities with the son like flash cards, he got a whole set of basketball, and other sports kits, can watch VCDs etc.. (1 to 1 attention..)

Then now, no more maid, they put him to childcare, initially for half day then full day.. Then things got worse lor..

So my colleague will only come in on tuesday and thursday morning to work while she work from home mostly.

Me initialy can work from home if my tummy gets too big, now leh.. cannot liao lor.. damn xian..

Then I was so angry this morning when I received a sms from the indian guy saying that HE is working from home TODAY & TOMORROW !!
Yesterday he said he wanna go back to work from home coz his wife is sick.. then give excuses like only him, his wife and daughter here, only 3 person, etc... say until like they are 3 pityful person here, (indirectly indicating that for us, we got our mother and father or other siblings around to help in case, etc..)

He is plain lazy type lah.. those very typical indians from india lor..

I'm so pissed. I sick also come to work liao, his wife sick and his wife is always not working wan ma.. is a SAHM leh.. all rubbish.

Hai.. I angry liao, tomorrow I also want to work from home. Afterall the mother knows I'm sick lah.
 
doggiebb, in fact i dun really have backache during this pregnancy. Back pain have when i fell down recently and when shift at certain angles. Only past 2 days kept having backaches. Seems that now the backache is spreading to my thighs also.

Nose bleed if it's not too serious it's ok lah, that time I also got nose bleed, then GP told me due to pregnancy, the blood vessel expands and tore easily, a light sneeze or blowing of nose can cause the blood vessel to burst, hence nose can bleed easily lor...
 
oh like that huh. QSG, then better be alert esp when you don't have backaches before. i think if the achiness spreads to the thigh esp.

we are all not doctors, don't worry about having just been to the gynae on sat, give her a call and tell her your symptoms. if you go in, can easily check if you are dilated and if there are contractions going on. going in early and having it treated early if *touch wood* anything is happening, can in many instance prevent preterm. just call lah.

i dun thk i can use nappy leh.....after give birth so many thgs 2 do....still got2 look after bb, dogs & also my hubby the big bb....boiboi walk leg open big big shld b ok lah hor???!!!!...

btw.....bad news man....my fren mil who wanted 2 help me do confinement is not feeling well nwadays....got giddy spell, high blood pressure....so i m back 2 sq one.....my mil will come over 2 help instead.....hope i dun get post natal blue.....must pray hard....& oso close 1 eye when she's ard....

You also nose bled har? The night before my nose also bled like nobody business..could be a sign of heatiness.. drink some liang teh like crysanthemum lor..but think u can start on coconut juice also now since u already more than 35 weeks...

The past 2 days that i was at home 'resting', my gal was so 'sticky' to me, refuse my mum in law, my mum in law brought her down to send my hubby off to work and brought her for walk, and when on the way home, she told my MIL she wants to see mama, MIL told her mama go work, she knows that i didn't go...she keep telling MIL, mama at home, mama at home. The moment she stepped into the house, she cried for me. In one day, she cried 3 times, because i was hiding in the room trying to rest. She cried until so drama, i thot she vomited and quickly came out of my room, her whole face was red, and she was sobbing away hiding behind me away from MIL. Wonder how am i going to rest during my confinement man. God is going to be my supernatural strength to jaga the 2 of them.
 
think nose bleed quite common among preggies, read that it's a hormone induced condition. so shouldn't be too serious.

can only drink coconuts from 35 weeks huh?

must take care and monitor ur pain. Appendicitis is no joke. Not to scare you/anyone but, I had mine removed when i was very young. The pain was very bad and that time, docs cldn't detect whats wrong and sent me home. Few mths later I got severe pain again, this time the doc say immediate op cos my appendix burst liao and all the poison came out. I was subsequently hospitalised for a week, half of it vomiting out black poison. It was a really close call. If not for God's grace, I won't be here today.

even up to just a few years ago, i ever read in newspaper forum page someone asking why doctors cannot detect appendicitis. Cos apparently, this person's relative died from it as it could not be detected in time.

dey, me too. My office got no bf room, and the toilet all very dirty...and since my food intake not very healthy too (industrial area) don't think my milk will be very nutrious.

dey, but the pain will suddenly go away too right? If yes, then I have the same thing. I think its just the bb moving around and pressing on some of our more sensitive parts.

CF, what did you eat before you did your test? Some people said the some 'innocent' food might cause some individual's glucose level to spike one... so really have to be detective to find out which are the culprits.

och, what kind of scary medication is that???

Oh no...now even Qianhui is not feeling well..soon it will be my turn liao.

Recently as I get heavier, I also got problem shifting angle especially when I lay on bed, I can't even move my legs, cos my back will have sharp pain if I start shifting, so whole nite have to sleep in 1 position....

my working environment also got no bf room, I did my pumping at my desk and it's a open concept here and I'm surrounded by men, but I don't bother, cos I'm more concern abt my bb not getting the impt nutrients she needs for her grow, so I just cover with a towel and proceed with my pumping lor... =P

Confirm confinement cannot rest one lah, just got to be prepared lor, last time my confinement was like havoc, cos no.1 got to accept the bb and no.1 usually will be jealousy if most of the attention are diverted from her to the bb. Don't say u won't but it's like got to adjust another bb in the family we parents tends to spend more time with the bb and in the mist of all adjustment, we tends to forget abt no.1. So most of the time, when the bb is sleeping, i will spend my time playing with no.1, but try to play something more relax so tat at least can rest a bit lor.... then when tired ask ur MIL and tok to ur no.1 that u need to rest, ah ma will play or look after her for awhile lor. I think urs is easier to talk n handle, not as stubborn as mine. don't worry.... just got to be patience, which I didn't have the last time and the cane starts appearing....

doggiebb, i contacted gynae already. She only said lie down and rest, maybe backache due to weight of bb though last time no backache and should be concerned only if contraction is 10mins apart or becomes painful.

Vanessa, really admire your courage. I wouldn't dare to pump with so many people around. My work place also no bf room so before i return to work will thick skin abit ask my boss to lend me his room during lunch. Actually i dun like to borrow his room bec like under pressure everytime dunno what time he leaves his room and what time he will be back...afraid of inconviencing him also.
 
Doggiebb, boss not around told my colleague i going home to rest, he said he will tell boss later..didn't take any MC though.

Initially, I was also like very shy, where to do it and this n that, but as I do it, those men are so use to it liao and no longer curious abt it and they actually understand my needs and avoid me at times when I'm pumping, so it's like getting use to it or not lor.

Many pple was telling me that the contration during labour is really unbearable, they advice me to take epi as early as possible,so dunit to suffer...even 1 of my fren who juz give birth 3 mths ago, natural w/o epi, she only labour pain for 2 hour,she say is unbearable liao,she say if her gynae say will need to wait few more hour she will take epi liao,luckily her cervix was dilated fast enuf,so she dint use epi. cant imagin those who labour pain for more than 10 hours, how to tong?

Do u gals have experience with natural birth w/o epi? how long? izit something impossible to endure the pain?

Im very confuse now..whether to take epi or not...

Both my gals are natural birth w epi and it's more than 10 hours. but this time round, I'm not going for epi at all, due to the administer of epi as well as the side effect I had after that, so this time round I rather suffer the labour pain and experience to be the real woman then to risk paralysing for the rest of my life..... A lot of those I've known nvr take epi guess I'm the only one who takes it. My sis nvr took any epi at all for her 3 births and the last one was twins somemore.... So I'm giving it a try, die die also no epi for me this time round../ (Hope I won't start cry for epi when times come....)

Just came back from gynae visit. Gynae just do a quick scan without estimating the BB weight. Overall BB is in position but have not engage. Finally i noe the bump on my left tummy is BB backside. N i put on 1.4kg in 3 weeks...Hope i can maintain it. The next visit will be in 2 weeks time

I think newborn can just use warm wet towel to wipe for first week. I intend to do that. Just take note of the backside and skin folds like neck, armpits, wipe carefully. If have cradle cap on head, just use bb oil to wash.
That's what i'll do la...

Ya loh, i keep telling my no. 1 now, mama loves you you know...she will reply Yes, and keep emphasising to her how bless bb is to have her as jie jie, and she is and has been a great blessing to me and our family...the problem with my no.1 even tho she not sturborn but she crying bb one, she keep cry and cry and cry and really cry until like vomit like that...aiyo...and she doesn't want my MIL to play with her. For the past 2 days, she hardly stepped into my in law's room, which usually when we not at home, she will always be in there.
