Helo mummmies, NI meng hao..

Wa yesterday nite so suay..discover 1 lump in my breast..nt like the usual engorged type of lump..me rub n rub to soothe the lump. In the end..last nite veri painful. Today gancheong rush to KKH to do mamogram (dunno how to spell) cos scared got CANCER!..den cant do mamogram so do ultrasound and cant find any lump. Recommend to LC..Paid $120 plus for the stupid ultrasound..barely 5mins in the room..*faint*

LC touch and feel my lump say its caused by choked ducts..press and press, massage and massage till my ducts "tong" ..wa liew...si bey painful man...me screaming in the room. I tink i muz have scared the whole world..hahahha..

coming back to my hse gathering..must let ur noe..ur can cum into my hse during the gathering..nt only limited to corridor..akakak..else i sound so "Gor Tak" hahaha.

Vegetarian or non eating mummies..please juz fill up the list so that i noe the total number of pple coming. Indicate not eating like starmoon or cuming late..

Nov_MTB, my boy also still on fully BM, but his wt is in the 75th percentile. Does your boy drink 3hrly? Mine still does. N he still wakes up abt 1-2 times at night to feed. He din seem to vomit any milk leh. If he's not drinking well, can consider giving a bit of FM to supplement? Some PDs may advocate starting solids early too.

U went to see the LC at KKH? Was it Ms Teo Yen Peng that you saw? She's my fren now since I've gotten blocked ducts twice and she cleared all for me too. I was also screaming in pain, worse than labour pain right?! But now I became fren fren with her after so many visits. Whenever I feel that my breasts are not right, I jus go visit her. That was before I went back to work lah.

My boy got skin problem, so PD advice not to start solid food til 6 mth, but i've let him try apple.
He seems to burp at least 2 times after milk, else will vomit, i'm a bit worried

My girl at 4 months check up is 6.3kg, her 3 month was 5.9kg, so she only gained 400g which is too little. That's why PD suggested I start solids for her.

She is now eating 2 meals a day (lunch and dinner). For lunch, eat Rice Cereal and Pureed Fruit and dinner just eat Pureed fruit or veg.

On top of that, she is still drinking 7-8 serving of EBM every 3hrs. Have not weighed her recently, but when I carry her, I can feel the difference.

For mums who have introduced rice cereal or pureed fruits/ veg, how much do you give your baby?

U make the puree yourself? can teach me? I haven started solid on Nianqi yet...she only drink about 600ml per day recently which I think is too little for her as she is going 5mth on 8th Apr.

but the pd said as long as she can still poo regularly, and everything else fine, cannot really do much abt it...

My girl same like yours. she drinks around 600-700ml a day too, that's why cannot gain much weight.

Puree very easy to make. First you choose the fruit or veg. So far, I've used apples (her favourite), ripe banana and avocado. For apples, just steam or boil with little water till soft. No need to add sugar or seasoning. When it is soft, i'll transfer into food blender together with little bit of water that was used to boil the apple (all the vitamins in the water, so don't waste). Then you have puree! Banana and avocado, don't need to cook, just blend directly or mash with fork.

You can store it in fridge for 2-3 days or months in freezer.

When it is meal time, I will mix the puree with the rice cereal to make the meal more enjoyable for baby.
