my PD also EK Ong. which day were u at the clinic. i was there on Fri 330pm. dont think there was any other NB babies other than mine.

these 2 days my bb's pattern also changing, he used to sleep 3-4hr before asking for milk (to 1-2hr). like what my CL said, when the bb gets bigger, their feeding time will be shorter cos they get hungry easier. now he wakes up abt every 1-2hr and each feed can be 30ml to 60ml. i hope he'll start to take more and sleep longer by the time the CL leaves.

i gained 15kg but still hv 10kg to go after 3 weeks!! sign.....

i'm also going to put my bb to infant centre after he is 4 months old. i know the risk is falling sick frequently but no choice leh. my CL is ok, but i still don't like certain ways she handles things so i concluded that I won't be able to accept a maid. can only pray hard lor.

dun stress urself over ur weight now lah. u still confinement leh. give urself time lah. BFG shld help abit. i juz find tt it helped to firm my tummy even b4 i started my massage.

Oh great, the rash cream works on you

Keep using for now, if not, the rashes will come back. My rashes also all gone after I applied the QV cream. Hey, QV cream is good for both infants and adults. So good to have one around.

Use cool boiled water to clean the rashes area for bb. It is norm for bb to have such rashes. My elder gal got this kind of rashes till 1 1/2 mth old. Imagine her full mth shower, these rashes were over her face wor, so ugly.
The milk will comes in soon, dun worry. The transparent liquid (colostrum) is the best for bb, even better than BM. 60ml every 2 hrs is not little leh.
I went back to gynae checkup 1 week later.

How abt getting new clothes for bb full mth? Sneak out to buy fast fast lah. Haiz... my hb was commenting that I look slimmer than pre-pregnancy, but how come my weight din go down huh??? Wondering is my weighing scale working??? Hahaha... everyone of us are putting the blame to the weighing scale!
I took up post natal massage for 18 sessions. Told my massage lady this is my last pregnancy, dun wan anymore kid liao. My tummy flatted liao. I still have 7 sessions to go. I like post natal massage lor, cos it helps to relax my muscles and get rid of the wind and helps uterus and womb to get back faster.
My bb also poo a lot when on EBM. No worries, BF bb poos a lot.

How I handle ah... so far so good. My hb will handle the elder one, while I handle the small one.

I can't remember swimming starts after 4th mth or 6th mth. You may want to check with your gynae.
For bb, best if can wait till 6 mths later. Though some ppl do bring bbs to swim from 4th mth onwards.
As I said earlier, if this pregnancy you are not engaging massage lady, the next pregnancy you engage, you may need to spend more $ to do a longer session due to the accumulated wind in your body.

Yeap!!! Precisely! What matters is we happy hor. Happy mother happy baby! Your CL din change menu one ah? My CL everyday change menu and sometimes I even "dian cai" to tell CL what I want to eat, especially her signature dishes... Today, my CL left. The 2nd CL came today. So far so good. The 1st CL did confinement for 3 weeks. This 2nd CL will be doing for me 2 weeks.

My bb got jaundice, now at kkh...so heartpain when i see him in the nursery.

u & ur hb "seasoned" liao, each can handle 1 baby. hahaha

4 us, we still need some practise. i usually only let my hb hands on when he is not wkg the nxt day, so he wun b so sleep deprived. heee, i gd to my hb hor?

i am so happy, finally counting down to confinement, though i will b eating all the way till 40 days, but as long as i can bath aft 28 days, i happy liao!

i think KKH schedules their appt 6 wkly aft delivery, while 4 pte gynaes we see them 1 wk aft discharge. i guess as long as u feel better each day, means ur wound is recovering well, so not to worry.

My boy also has jaundice. His level was 12.2 on Fri but my pd say tat shld b the peak already so told me no nd to admit but nd to monitor him over e weekend. So now still thinking whether wanna bring him back tomm since he's still yellow but dun think his condition has worsened.

Yeah, my tummy shrinking but still got slight bulge when I wear my shorts. Hopefully, will be able to go back 2 normal before e end of my maternity leave...

My boy also poos veri often. He can even poo & fart while drinking. Whole day dunno change how many diapers...

I think KKH, SGH and NUH follow up check up are 6 weeks later, unlike private gynae. The stitches will melt one.
Oh, keep latching and pumping, if not very pain.
Dun worry, bb will be in good care. My gal was admitted for 2 days also, her highest was 15 level when admitted. Take this chance to rest well. Also with the haze around, there's no sunlight, so we can't do anything also. Sometimes, I see my gal, can still see she's a bit yellowish.

Me also, let hb takes over nite shift if he dun work the next day. If not, so dangerous cos still need to drive.
Oh, my replacement CL came today le. Ended I didn't take the replacement CL from my 1st CL leh. Cos of the replacement CL who supposed to cover my 1st CL blur leh, din realise her passport expired wor. So, I called up the CL who I wanna engaged earlier (this 2nd CL din dare to take me cos she got a job in Sep lor). I was so worried this 2nd CL might not be able to do a good job cos my 1st CL damn good! But my worries are "duo yu" one hahaha...

actually i wan to get #2 nxt yr, pig & dog are gd frens, they say. keke

but i wanna wait 4 my body to recover & more imptly wait 4 my ILs 2 move out so we will hv more space for #2. dun wan it to b so cramped. make me so pek chek.

so i think #2 earliest is the yr aft lor, the Year of Rat. i dun like Rats, but if i wan 2 yr spacing, it has to b Rat liao. unless kena "accident" lah. haha

i chatted wif my CL and she told me how they count the days so they wun b penalised & suspected of illegally wkg in SG. actually quite jia lat. i told her my nxt pregnancy i still wanna get her and if worse comes to worse, i apply work permit 4 her so no need to get so worried. actually not easy 4 them lor.

aiyah, no need worry lah, left only 1 more wk. yippie! nxt wk this time i can fly liao! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

not really leh, coz they say within 90 days, they max can stay here for only 60 days. so the 60 days is for "holiday" and if we apply work permit, its for the other 30days tt they r wkg. the customs cant say anything wat.

both infantcare and maid has it's pros and cons.
For infantcare, u need to fetch your bb by 7pm latest. i find that v stressful for me cos i got to work late sometimes and after that i'll be driving at top speed to rush my way there.
And then there's always chicken pox and HFMD outbreak where u can't bring ur child in and got to look for alternative arrangemets.
As for maid, it depends on your luck on whether u get a good one. it's best to have another person watching over the maid at home. i spent 6 mths at home training my maid before i went back to work.

some CL don't want u to apply for work permit cos that will leave a record that they are actually here to work. next time it'll be difficult for them to come out so frequently without WP.

To Singapore PR mums,

I am going to give birth in nov. Both husband and I are Singapore PR, has been collecting info about child birth registration such as Malaysia & Singapore Birth Cert, Malaysia Passport for baby and Singapore PR for baby. But not really clear for PR.

1. Heard from few ppl that application for PR for new born baby getting complicated.

2. Due to some reason, need to bring baby back to Malaysia right after confinement. but according to some pple, if baby out from Singapore BEFORE getting his PR status, the application will become more difficult. Is that true?

MIL n my mum will teach her how to cook lor. my mil only know how to cook that few dishes. looking forward for my dad to come and make the ikea's swedish meatballs for me this tuesday!! hehehe

So sad me down with urine infection

went back to Mt Alvernia 24Hrs clinic, than had urine test however the doc cannot determine whether blood found in urine or its menses. Given me antibotic to complete. Hence cannot BF my baby le so sad.. Want to ask C-Section mummy here hor, when u pass urine is it painful? Mine is super painful wor..

it was a bit painful initially when i pee cos you got to use the muscles which is v near the wound. Now no problem.
Try to go pee more often and drinking cranberry juice will help clear the infection.

i also dun think so that Mdm Naini massaged for bb. wow, u signed up 18 sessions with Mdm Naini. I will have the last session (6th) on thurs. me cant really tahan the pain when she massaged the tummy area.

Just had my bb's 1st mth party yesterday....finally over so happy. Lucky we already decided to give him EBM becos of my inlaw again.

My relatives haven arrive only my sis came at 12pm so we let her handle first and went to a room to latch on my son. Than my mil keep trying to open the room door n tell us to come out.
I finally pump at night around 8pm. My poor breasts so hard like rock.

Didn't get to hold my bb much yesterday dun even know where he is most of the time but lucky he never become cranky but only drank 60ml every feed. Dunno if its becos of this when we went home at 10pm my bb wanted to latch on every hr. Lucky not all through the night else I will die of tiredness. Think he miss me or rather my breasts....haha

Oh yah I went to my mum's hse for prayers before the party and was sweating so went to seat in the living room where the fan was blowing. Than my mum immediately came over and switch off the fan......wah I nearly died from the heat aah.

huh, you feel pain when Mdm Naini massaged your tummy area? I'm ok with her massage and enjoy it very much. You try to relax during the massage. The more tense up you are, the more painful the massage is. Did Mdm Naini pull your hip bone? That day she asked me wanna try cos she said many of her clients complain of hip bone expanded after delivery. So, I said ok lor, wah biang... DAMN PAINFUL!!!

What software you have? Photoshop, Adobe Ready Image, Photo Editor etc have the function to reduce the pixel. I think Paint in Windows also can, but I din try before cos I'm not using Windows at home PC.

me also celebrated Caleb's full month yesterday at mum's place then tmr at friend's condo for friends n relatives. finally Caleb going home for the first time since birth (back to punggol)...

i think stress really affects ss. since intro fm to Caleb, me less stress abt bfg now pump at night every 3 hrs since i give him fm at night. can achieve over 130ml in a 20 min session. me so happy. nv so happy with pumping b4. though not alot of ss yet but enf for Caleb n i also more assured that everytime i latch him, he is taking enf.
tks everyone for your encouragement and advices. i will continue and if ss increase, may switch back to TBF. now training him to tahan for 3 hrly feeding.

glad to hear that your ss is increasing. keep it up! mine still the same, maybe i dont latch bb on frequently and pumping only 3-5hr interval. I just started taking the goat's rue and i told myself i must pump at 2-3hr interval. hopefully can see result soon. i'm a lazy mummy.

Wanna check wif all of u, how long did it take for ur bbs' umbilical cord to fall off. My boy already more than 10 days old, the cord still there. Did any of u apply any medication to it cos I was not given anything except the alcohol swaps. Is the circumference of the naval area supposed to look reddish cos my boy's look like that. Izzit normal, or izzit infected?

If count 18mths by week, early Feb and late Jan 2008 can conceive already and 2nd baby may have the same birthday as our 1st chilld. As long as below 35yr old give birth is best.
U can go to photoshop and go to image, then image size and make the pic smaller.
