oh, u went for ur usual scan as well..nice to hear that ur baby is growing well..dun worry abt the sizes...diff babies have diff sizes..is ur baby sleeping when u went to see baby yest? must be very cute right? baby has legs & hands liao hor..it's very touching lor..when's ur next appt? i checked with my gynae & the detailed scan will be done on ard the 20th wk..for me, my package includes the detailed scan (so-called FOC) by the gynae himself..i m really looking forward to it..heehee..

oh ya, my gyane gave some supplements like Calcium & Multivitamins to eat..also got to know from the nurses that we wont have to eat folic acids in our 2nd Tri liao..not sure if it's applicable to all..for me, the supplements already have folic acid included..so once my current supply of the folic acid is finished, i wont be able to get it from the clinic anymore..
 
crsytaliized, I'm not trying to frighten you. I'm just sharing what gynae told me and just hope everyone will be careful. So long as you wash properly it's ok. I try to avoid uncooked vege, but sometimes no choice in sandwich there's also vege, just do our best lah.
I've put on 1.5kg over the last 2wks, now got a small ballon infont of tummy. Hb is so happy. Tonite my company dinner, all the ladies wearing Cheong sum, for me, i can't fit into any of mine. So got to make do with baby doll dress. Counting down to see bb on 3 Apr.

You mentioned your gynae package is about $1K right? Then the detailed scan must have included. My gynae package only $550 but excluded detailed scan charges which is $110 + 5% GST.

too fast le lah. Maybe for the time being, just see see look look at those full mth packages. Then by then, you roughly know you want to order from which bakery.

for me, actually i dun really take so much of the veges in the burgers or sandwiches..so usually i will get it to do for me plain, just with the meat & cheese at most..heehee..nice to hear that u r putting on weight..i know it's not easy for u bcoz of ur bad MS..keep it up..so glad for u..do try to eat more..enjoy urself tonight! cheers~

and the other next scan is 24 May. which is the detail scan at 20wks.
my edd remains the same, no changes.

Aiyo.... can't meet u yesterday. my ILs sent us to clinic coz my hb wanna let my MIL to see baby lol. i leave about 7.20pm. when is ur next appt? My baby is now 5.27cm and is so...cute. yeah... the 1st thing i told my hb when Dr Koh told us that's baby head was baby already turn position. at that time, baby still sleep and we tried to wake him/ her up. aftertat, baby start move and kicking. haha... the funny part is my hb ask about the gender of baby and Dr koh point to the baby's butt and said dunno yet. hehe....

would like to share with u, My sis who had 3 kids now told me tat should take Anmum 2 times a day, 1 morning and 1 at night. she said is very good for baby and oso mom. now i oredi take 2dn tin liao....
 
did anyone of you start taking iron tablets already?my gyane said 16weeks onwards, now too early.
I am taking calcium, folic , multivit and hormance pills(take until 13wks for hormance pills since week 5)

I think my baby is sleeping when scanning cos there is no movement, but i saw the heart pumping very fast.

Jasmine, how many are you now? 5.27cm shuld be 12-13wks, rite?
 
My gynae give me the all the pills when i am in week 7, it so miserable to take so many every morning and sometime will vomit, but must take

ya hor, you said before hor. Me and HB also hokkien. You check pine garden full mth package already? I remember not cheap, think is $8+ or $9+ right? My HB insists to get from Choz. This morning, I was telling HB I want to eat pine garden choc zest cake kekeke..

pine garden dont have the 1st month package in their website anymore... choz not cheap too, the comments from choz, some say nice, some say not nice

actually I'm tempted to change to other goodies bag. You saw the URLs that I posted sometime last week? So sweet and nice leh, the packaging but dunno if the ang ku kueh, g/rice nice to eat or not. One thing for sure, I will never order cake (butter/marble etc) for the full mth. Now most families are small families mah, can't finish eating. Most throw away. I hate to receive cake. I prefer those small items one like Choz.

my package is $1.2k for up to a guide of 10-12 visit (including one post-natal scan as well)..but i understand from the nurses that usually he will schedule to see the mummies every 3 wks & also at the 8th mths onwards, it's twice a mth & it goes on..so even if i hit more than 12 times, i wont be charge as well..this is something good also..btw, the package is also inclusive of any supplements supplied to us..i guess shd be ok lah..coz looking at the rate now, we shd be seeing him every 3wks..so glad to be able to see baby every 3 wks..yeah!thks for letting me know that folic acid stops aft 12th wk..then we will intake the multivitamins then..thks! thks!

ya, i walked in the clinic quite late last night aft dinner at pasta mania..heehee..so i guess u might have gone off..we waited for another indian couple to go in b4 us..very nice to hear that our babies are growing well..heehee..so excited..so cute...very sweet lor..ur MIL must be very happy..i dun think i will be extending invitation to my MIL for my future scans..sigh..anyway, forget abt that..makes my heart boil..anyway..today is a happy day..cheers~ so have u start the package with Dr Koh? when's ur next appt? r u gg to do the NT scan? You need to call pine garden to check the prices. They still do lor. They have a list of prices at their shop. Dunno why they din put on their website, anyway their website not much info one.
I like Choz. Their ang ku kueh and g/rice very nice to eat. I ordered for my gal full mth, everyone said very nice. You can buy to try from their branch at Toh Yi Drive.

You mean your gynae package is not inclusive of all visits?? Still gonna charge if exceed that no. of visits ah? Very ex leh. Mine is for the whole pregnancy one. Nett price $550 for gynae package, regardless of no. of visits and medicines. Detailed scan and blood test are not included in the package lah.

so we are taking the same tablets. iron maybe later part and i heard that it will cos constipation to worsen. i did not opt for NT scan, only the detail san will do.
 
Today damn sick throw up 3 times liao. Will go back to rest after all my meeting at 1pm. Hopefully tonite can still make it. My last outing with colleagues.

wow, you ladies so fast already planning for full month. Then have you booked you CL?I think I'll wait till 2nd tri before I start thinking about all these.

I'm curerntly eating folic and Vit B (to curb nausea feelings). Think 2nd tri will start multi vit.

me same as wtan, 11w5d today. but then hor... my gynae jz measure frm head to baby butt not included baby leg lol. so cute... i start d package now. mrng will take calcium n folic asid (till the balance finish) and nite wil take multivit (coz gynae said iron should take at nite) and 'yu kan you' which contain DHA (free sample). me too... i m d type difficult to swallow pill one. yesterday nearly vomit.

i sart on Anmum since i knew tat pregnant... should b week 4. my sis told me tat her SIL baby very healthy coz she took Anmum every day 2 times. now her baby is 3 months old. beside tat, she oso drink fresh milk and soya drin. i'm shock and ask my sis so many how to drink arr... she jz laugh.

yeah... my sis oso teach me a kind of drink (chinese herbal). she said is to 'pu qi' and 'pu blood' one. let me check hot to put in english name, ok?

ya lor... my parents are from big families, then still got in law's side, hb and my colleagues (we are working at big organisations). Yes, I give for those who come for buffet as well. So I need to get cheaper one. My gal's full mth last year, the buffet per head already cost $15 per head, so we ordered the bundle of joy $5.50 package full mth from Choz. My in laws never help to pay anything one.

i take nasi lemak liao stomach will have a lot of gas but i naughty still eat it on off... just make sure that the egg is fully cooked type (not watery yolk)

If u are not pantang, good to book CL early, especially if u have one that you can trust.
The first thing i did after i tested positive was to call my CL. At that time, i have not even gone to gynae yet. My CL is very good so i die die also must have her. Luckily i called her early cos a few hours after i called her, someone also called to book her and EDD is also in Oct.
Wah, i was so relieved that i acted fast.

ya, go back office to distribute lor. I ask CL to look after bb tat time, then hb and I went to office to distribute. I asked Choz and Prima Deli to send the full mth package directly to office. Then I just distribute.

wow, u consuming quite a lot of pills leh, esp u still in 1st trimester rite? hmmm... so far i only swallow folic acid in the morning. gynae gave me some sample fish oil to take aft b/f. i cant stomach it as it causes me discomfort. i stopped.

yah thanks 4 ur advice. i will b v careful when i prepare my own salads. will make sure its properly washed. but i got no choice since i cant swallow cooked veggies, no matter how they r cooked. so this is my only choice.

hehe, got tummy liao ah! tts nice. i am hoping mine will show so i can wear maternity tops. some looked so pretty. so far i can still fit in my existing clothes. no need to get maternity ones yet. i had bought a few tops tt can b worn when tummy gets bigger later. no maternity bottoms yet. find it quite exp and i dun wan to buy juz yet.

heard multivits & iron tablets causes more constipation. oh man, dread it...

haiz, last nite i had my worst "merlion" ever oso. usually when i puke, its only one mouthful then will stop liao. yest was continously for at least 10 mouthfuls in 1 vomitting tt i had to flush away 4 the 1st run then followed by 2nd run. oh man, it was so horrible!!!!

aiyoh! NASI LEMAK! i cant take! coz it causes a lot of wind in my tummy! i stopped tt ever since i took it once when i was 6 wks and had nvr touched nasi lemak till then though i am craving so much 4 it! booboo...
