YT - no worries at all. We are at all ears. If yr BIL can ask his wife to go own house to stay that means he knows the seriousness of it. Then why stil want to risk other ppl? Is it call plain selfishness? Family dinner? Dont u all have it often? Why must insist yr hubby to go and get angry? sorry to ask, yr FIL v old lioa? Even if its not Jayden's Bday, Jayden shld also avoid at all cost... no joke for bb at this age to have ckn pox, who suffer? BB and mummy!

Sometimes I cant help to think men are abit brainless when it comes it this kind of things. My BIL is a very insensitive guy and often 'offend' me when i was staying with him. Im so glad that he's away from me now. Yr hubby the same as mine value his own family, but i think he wont risk his son's health in this instance.

Preg with ckn pox must be v careful coz foetus also will be having it..but if due care shld be alright. My cousin IL also had it, bb come out alright.
 


PM, thank you so much! FYI, my BIL always scold my FIL but this time he INSIST going out for dinner to celebrate father's day. I dun understand why lor. Sorry to say bb is more important or father's day? I already ask my hb to give red packet n tell him to explain to his dad but wat to do my hb is 24 xiao son and he always felt i m selfish. In-law side are always not understanding at all. FIL is 60 yrs old liao. He also dun understand. Kept asking me to feed Jayden cold can drink.

I dunno. Just spoke to hb, he seems to understand next wkend me & jayden might be staying over at my mum hse but he is always fickle minded so dunno if next wk his family coax him wat will happen again.
 
aiyo YT, i think u are right to bring Jayden to your mum's place. If they are so inconsiderate, its better that u take the necessary precautions. As a mom, its our natural instinct to protect our children!
Do what is Best for Jayden!
Just pray that ur hb will understand!

Thank you...Now I totally hack care what my in law will think/feel...Its my own baby so me as his mum I have the right to protect him in any way...My in-law are always inconsiderate...

For example: Insist feeding tibits to my son although I kept saying NO because me & my mum at home dun anyhow feed Jayden with biscuits, etc but they insist. Its not that we dun let Jayden eat but if eat more of this tibits some bb won't want to drink milk/porridge anymore. Since now he is young if we could control we will control once he is old enough its beyond our control but MIL always feed him when I didn't notice. Got once she insist letting Jayden hold an apple whereby I say I feed him because Jayden will use his teeth to 'pull' the apple and it will come out one big piece. MIL dun believe me so took the chance when I was on the phone she give Jayden. Truth enough Jayden got CHOKE!

I always told my hubby I swear that I will never leave Jayden alone with any of your family members. Got once my niece had fever so when to see GP. Maybe after taking the medicine got rashes so I ask MIL if she have bring my niece back to see doctor. Guess what is her reply??? No car to send her!!! Omg! You have a maid at home, can't you ask the maid along & take a cab.

As 3rd SIL (MIL own daughter) is working in china so her bb is looking after by MIL, got once 3rd BIL want to bring their bb to leave permanetly in China. MIL insist NO and guess what? Usually every nite they will online and use webcam to see their bb. MIL in the living room shout to them. Ur bb sleep liao but the truth is NO. My niece is still playing around.

Who is she to have the right to stop their own parents from seeing their bb? From that incident onwards, I told hb no no no no way to let your mum look after even for an hr. Later I return home, ur mum suddenly siao dun want to return my son to me.

It's a pain when you have all the ILs or relatives interfering in your life. Worse part is your own hb thinking that whatever they do is the right thing and own wife side is always "not understanding". I have gfs encountering this kind of shitty thing also. Luckily my hb is the one that No means No. I am more soft-hearted one. He hates whoever interfering our plans including his own parents. So no one dares to even feed a "gua-chi" to my bb.
I wish all the bad thing for you will be over soon. Don't let it get onto you! You can always flood your anger or frustration here and let us sayang you =)

In laws are like that! Just stand firm for the sake of ur baby's health. For me, if I think my son's health is being threatened, I'll get 'evidence' from internet and show it to my hubby to let him know the consequnces and seriousness.

like I wanted to celebrate Char's birthday on 28th (her actual is 31st), guess what my sil says... why can't we celebrate earlier? cos she's gg holiday during that time... I told my hb to ignore her cos that's a ridiculous request... then on sat my mil ask us to feed char with vege but the vege is soak with sauce, luckily hb insisted NO cos too much salt already...

People with impaired immune systems may experience serious complications or even death.

Chickenpox can also give rise to more severe problems in pregnant women, causing stillbirths or birth defects, and can spread to their babies during childbirth.

I can understand how frustrated you are. Last time my SIL's whole family got fever and serve flu and cough, I also feel the same thing when my MIL ask them to come over to my house soon after their recovery. The virus is highly contagious when one is going to recover.

Guess wat, as soon after they left my house, hubby already feel something unusual and 2 days later down with high fever, and then followed by BB alfred and me.

It's not your fault to take such a move to prevent any means of getting infected by the CP virus. Maybe L* is too kind to help his B&W. But I do feel that L* shouldn't scold you with such remarks, you're his capable wife to take care of his son and family afterall.

If you need more place for shelter, do come to my place. Do let me know if you need help.

I's very irresponsible of ur BIL & his wife to go out & mingle wif people when they're having chicken pox. Don't they know it's very contagious? Somemore Jayden is still so young!

Even when our bbs are down wif flu, we also don't dare to bring them. What's more chicken pox. Ur BIL & his wife are all adults & they should be more responsible lor.

Like you, I'll be very very angry if my hb still continue to mix wif them & bring the virus back home.
