eat & sleep is a big-head pbm for me...
seth zzz ard 10hrs/day, 12hrs if i'm lucky...
he usually naps 30mins-1.5hrs twice a day...

somehow, if i wanna go out, he zzz alot, drag my plans... if i'm not gg anywhere, he zzz like only 30mins... haiz... then time drags so slowly into e night... i always hope he zzz longer so that i can surf hahhaha...

i'm still BF, he NVR zzz thru e nite! wanna comfort nurse every 2-3hrs thru out! cant work on e habit, he'll go cranky if i wanna pat him, too tired i juz give him e boops...

seth simply wont drink water! thot of diluting delrosa into water to make him increase liquid intake aft solids but still dont want him depend on it, so didnt give delrosa..

bought cod liver oil, used 2 take it when i was young, read e label, to b consume by abv 1yrs old, so hvn start hahaha... when to give anyway? aft food?

heaty? seth's almost a human torch! body hot like me, warm-blooded... zzz fan full-blasted, dont wanna cvr blanket.......

i too have MIL pbm, i dread her naggy & intervene in everything! blood boils simply at e thot of it... wgich also explains y i always go out... so what she's experienced? its not her era ord! i hate her & voice! =(

btw, buying e swim wet suit, do i buy e padded one or not?

Still feeding thru'out the night? You poor thing. D doesn't drink water too. I think it's the Spore tap water. Tastes bad. He takes bottled spring water but I haven't given him that except when travelling. He will drink barley and fruit juice so I offer him that at home. I read that bbs on solids only need max 4-6oz water a day.
 
Someone is asking abt nite feed? Oh yes... Julian still asking for milk in the mid of the nite. When I walked out of the room to make his milk he will cried n cried for me. Funny part is he will cry and crawl out to look for me. By the time i finished, he already in the kitchen.

Janelle also has a heaty body. I am making alot of Liang Teh for her but I think Zavier is still too young to drink that. All the "pu" is slightly heaty.

However, both my kids take "Pao Sheng" I dun know that is cooling or heaty. U may want to go to medical hall and ask.

Pao Sheng is neutral as far as i koe, but i scare to give cos it will keep one very awake..wait they dun wanna sleep, i faint ah..

I ask my PD about those supplements:
1) Childlife Colostrum etc by GNC etc.
no medical research etc that it is good for kids esp when 1yr old only.
2) CLO - again no medical research but based on the fact tat is around for so long. so maybe can be trusted.
3) best n medically proven is the singular powder tat she gives to zav.

Well, true enough for the past 6 weeks when Zav was taking Singular everynite, he was hardly sick. only once down with runny nose but recovered within 3-4days. another 2 times fever but I strongly believe it's link to teething.

hmmm... think need to research more liao.

how abt "ling yang"?? u tried bef? I used to give my elder one after 1 yr old when she was heaty..but must open yr eye big big to watch out for fake good lor..

We might bring Alfred to Delta gym this friday. But yet to confirm the timing cos MIL going for body checkup so me and alfred papa got to take leave to look after him. If we go afternoon then high chance we will be able to meet you there..

How many teeth your bb has? alfred has 6 upper and 2 lower and more coming out i think cos he drools a lot these days and keep biting things like toys, papers and even on us! Offer him the teether but he doesn't like it..

Ling Yang - cannot anyhow give leh.
If the kid doesnt have cough u can cook the ling yang for 30 min but very cooling. If the kid is down for fever n cough then u have to double-boiled the ling yang for 3hrs.

Babies will keep waking up due to teething? What shall we do if that is the case? Teething gel? Lots of coaxing?

alamak..i cooked porridge liao then saw ur posting...aiya...maybe i just feed him a little bit lah..cos cooked liaomah..anyway...he not tkaing much milk...so think if porridge can fill him bo loh..
 
ling yang - i tried once... gave him tat time when he had fever on n off.
but i do understand cannot anyhow give... so only once.

barley - I give him on n off too.
recently gave chrys also... fren says good for eyes since his eyes now keep having discharge.

i do read that porriage water is gd when the kid is recovering but then my mum say no rice or porriage.

i guess if recover shld be ok to take some porriage water. I rbr i even use porriage water to make milk for Julian and he did recover pretty fast.

This gal of my very unglam one... she tend sto play with boys than gals, whenever she goes for her class, she is always the one that approach teh boys and play with them... aiyo... must keep remind her she is teh gal leh hahahaha

When Charlene is teething, she keeps waking up due to the discomfort so what my mum does is, she uses the jin feng san (brown color powder) to spread on her gums n it actually calms her down alot n surprisingly it cures her cough too...

My alfred plays rough one leh.. If really can see u there better ask andrea to keep a safe distance.. wait alfred molest her then u'll know.. haha

I'm not sure if it's for teething but my mum says it's suitable so i js apply for her lor... i think u can buy it from medical haal or pharmacy, it's a small transparent bottle with a red cap n red label with gold wordings...

the jin feng shan u describe got "ho zhao" content which is good for cough that y can relieve her cough..& yes, older people believe that by applying on their gum can ease teething pain, think got calming effect...in fact if kiddies kana shock also apply to calm them down..

The jin feng san is the one that babies will take when ganna shock or fear, is it? I think I have one at home leh.....
