PM
E very cute. ;-)

Angi
I love my Maclaren. Very easy to manoeuveur, very light and sturdy at the same time. Comfy for bb.

angi,

someone already done this spree b4 from smallsmallworld, the one selling bumper mat or playmat, i think around $40 plus during bp but normal is $59.90, mayb u can consider this if the one u r doing is more ex... <http://www.smallsmallworld.com/baby_chair.html>

pram: if u want lightweight and easy to close with one hand, u can consider asian brand, I ever go to bb kingdom check out b4, they recommend either capella or combi, combi is more ex...

Hong because his biggest size is 9mth loh! so i consider loh..heehee

E so handsome...muckz from Venice!

I also quite sad V no more cute babylook liao...! haiz..hahaha!

ylc - hey.. the personalized cds the discount they give u how much ah?

i'm eyeing the bp for the cds now la.. got 22% discount.. hahaa.. so like around 18 bucks a cd..

PM,
i wanna see ur family photos... hahaha..
E is sooooo cute..

Zita,
Can Venice fit into the dress? U want her to wear during her bday party?

We also got a red tee from msia for Julian bday. Thot of getting shirt but couldnt find anything that is nice. The gymoboree shirt that I ordered for Julian during CNY is very gd and soft. Dun think I will be in time to get him another one.

Hi Mummies,
Long time no post liao.

Need advice. When u prepare the ikan billis powder for bb's cereal n porridge, do u remove the heads before grinding?

TIA!

See many of you preparing for bb's 1st birthday party liao... i haven done anything yet... and Kayden's BD is 1st Jul... oni a few wks from now. pengz!!!

Hi mummies, long time no post...

re:GUG trial

Was dragging myself thru it, maybe cos wasnt really feeling well, body ache n no strength somemore must keep dancing in circles n 'throw' Gillian up until i almost fainted....moreover Gillian cant sit still n wasn't a 'good student' like Kaylyn who was so interested n responded to d teachers so well...heheh

re: pram/stoller
Regretted didnt invest in a good one but simply settled for a $119 kidico pram, super heavy n bulky n NOT one-hand system. Only realised d difference after i bring her out alone more often, d only thing i appreciate is d big basket below, can put 1 big diaper bag plus other barang barang...haha

re: helium svc for balloons
For those staying near Pasir Ris, there's a newly opened partyware shop at whitesands level 4, they also provide helium svc at $1 per balloon.

OC,

Thanks for the info on the partywarre shop in Pasir Ris. Will go there and take a look.

Angi,
I have a aprica stroller. Very light, stable and easy to fold - compact. I have another one from Mothercare. That is heavy but very very stable.

OC - yah, u indeed looked tired yesterday...it's natural for them to want to move around, they're curious about the environment, new faces, new toys etc. I dun try too hard to stop my girl from moving around unless she's disturbing the class or the teacher from carrying out their lesson. My girl hates it when i try to hold her hands to do the actions, she'd rather watch and then after she goes home, when she's in the mood, she'll imitate some of the actions so we gotta also sometimes let them develop at their own pace. Trying too hard may backfire.

zoe - i agree with you on Maclaren too...very easy to move around...i own a Capella one too...too heavy and bulky, i realize.

Mrs Chng,
We normally go on Fridays too. At around 4pm.
But for the past 2 weeks, we bring the babies for outdoor activities instead. Maybe next week we will go Delta playgym.

MTDT,
Anytime before 6pm on weekdays is fine with me. Btw, just sms you.

Mrs chng yes, lets meet some time at DeltaI usually go with CG too. This Fri, think she cant. What about next Friday then? My card expiring in July too so must quickly use up oso. Btw, how many kids do u have and how old? I have a girl and shes just turned 1.

Ylc wat about the hygiene of GUG u dun like? I did not notice anything missing leh...maybe I not observant enough. Ive not been to BJG..will go one of these days.

CG - got it.

Kiki & Brambles - WHERE ARE YOU?
wan to collect your shopping stuff? :p

Just for mummies who wanna get 18" foil balloon but not in time to order from birthday direct..u can get those disney cartoon character ballons & some party wares at Taka toy fair, i just got 1 18" Pooh 1st Birthday ballon there at $7 last week..more costly than ordering fr BD direct but no choice, no time liao..fair till 17 June

OC, there's 1 at pasir ris? oh greaT!! gooood news indeed.

zita, dun streeeesss relax relax relax. everything will work out one. ask hubby to help do part of the things lor..

Mummies... father's day this sunday!! wat r u guys getting for ur hubbies?
happy.gif
it's their first father's day!

YB - Emerson was like Kaylyn when he went for the trial very attentive..clapping n waving. So i gathered that he might like the class, but like u i think more suitable for older babies.

Cheri - I'm like u, dont want to restrict Emerson, coz the more i do, the more frustrated he gets and will make noise and disturb the class in this way. At BJG, he's always and almost the only one who will always crawl to the teacher and to the cupboards where the toys are kept.

Zita- Relax Relax Relax. U need help??

Hong - U're in MSN? I give u the link.

Thanks all for the praises for Emerson.. Hehe.. I think he's smiling in his nap now.

hi mtdt... wah, so big and red your font. think nx will be the pig head if i dun reply. hehe
happy.gif

paiseh. been v tied up @ work. this is at the back of my mind but no time to post here re collection. anyway, will you be meeting ylc soon? if yes, maybe you can pass to her? cuz i'll need to get my birthday direct stuff from her. think it's more convenient cuz her collection venue near where i work
happy.gif

Pram - I've got a combi one, its really light weighted and can close and open with one hand (bi-fold) but i intend to get another umbrella stroller for Emerson. I saw at NTUC AMKhub $89 for zooper.

mtdt... oh ya, let me know how much to pay in total
happy.gif

peach... not getting anything for hubby. hahaha... he nv get anything for me on mother's day also leh. kekekeke

CG & Cheri: Cool... lets meet up next fri ya.

cheri: i am mother to a jun baby gal who is turning 1 at the end of this month. heehee. partial working SAHM, taking care of my gal on my own as i cant trust my MIL.

PM...thanks! haiz, trying to sort out first, btw did u manage to contact the toy rental?

Bramble, i pm u the contact for greenbrew, but is bounch back, did u received?

PM,
Wat's the diff between pram & umberalla stroller?

Cheri,
Ylc & I were the first to arrived at GUG. We noticed the floor mats were dirty with paints & marks. Then the toys also dun seem cleaned. Anyway the whole setting feels like kindergarden setup lor..with tables & chairs at the back, floor mats infront facing the whiteboard.

Somemore for the 1st 15mins is free play for the babies to warm up. But then to me it's a waste of money for not doing anything.

Even though Kaylyn enjoys herself very much...but I still feel the settings & lessons are more for older kids..those that can walk & sit on their own.

Dsii,
This Fri confirmed bo? Go where? Swimming? Or wat?

Then hb ask when to play MJ wif the PTT hbs...ur hb ONZ?

OC,
Since Gavin suggest, then when?

MT,
Ur hb keen? They left 1 kakis.

YB,
GUG so dirty?? Last time was quite ok leh. I mean Janelle's time.

I classify pram as those that can be fully reclined and stroller are more light weight and cannot recline fully.

PM,
Are u still in MSN? Can u PM me ur link?? thanks..

Pebble,
if u have oven, u can roast the ikan bilis before powdered them.

Zita,
dun be too stressed up by the party preparation.
No matter wat, it is a kid party. Dun stress urself like u are organising a coy D&D hor.
happy.gif

How much is the sundress??

Tell u, we cant decide if we want to have a party for Julian. I havent got any party items, no bday banner, have not decided the cake, goodies bag, if we want balloon, guest list , etc etc.. More lax then anyone here. hahaha..

Hi Hong,
Tks. So i'll remove the head, tail n intestines, wash, sun for a while let it dry, toast in toaster n grind. Right?

zITA,

the sundress u saw is what colour one?? i bought one but not for caitz... its orange colour. is it that one?

anyone went to the motherhood fair and sign up with the Goblier (dunno spelling correct or not), for children to learn and listen one.

peach,

think if u go down united sq buy cheaper also! its only $18.75 but must buy 3 to get one free! buy if u dun want so many then combine with someone to buy it lor!!! haha like spree! i also combine with PM to buy.
if u all want, i can help u all organise!

Dsii,
haha opportunity leh!!!! BUY!!!

hong,
Huh d ikan bilis all so small still must remove head, bones n intestines one by one!!...faintz

peach,
Cos i know quite a few mummies stay at pasir ris also mah, but i didnt ask if they do delivery for d balloons, d lady boss at d partyware shop is quite nice to share with me that if u pump helium for normal balloons, can only last few hrs n will burst more easily, so she recommend more for foil balloons then u can bring down n pump d day before d party n can last for few days n re-usable too.

YB
Haha serious ah!! Mahjong for d PTT hbs this fri nite!! But 'san que yi' leh...Galvin flying off on sat night, so left fri nite only if not gotta wait liao

Brambles - hahha!!! dun bold n red, u dun response leh! see it works!! hahaha
ok, will pass ur stuff to YLC - YLC ok?

Jshoppers $$ - once i get my bill, will BOLD/RED the collections again. ok
happy.gif

MJ - wow... for hubby huh? then same day as for the wife? then bb how?? :p my hubby alrady hv 3 sessions line up after his exams!! Dunno if I wan to add one more for him... as he go play means i hv to work (take care of z). haha

GUG - yes, its a classroom settings. tat's why i also feel it's for older kids. somemore, i believe in GD mtd... dun teach bbies ABC first. so find zoophonics not tat useful for now. :p

Enrichment for kids - actually beside music (like KM) and gym.... will be such classroom style class (like GUG/JG) only rite? nothing else for our kids age. :p

my balloons

normal balloons - can last for 1 day...
next morning, it's like less than 50% air left

foil balloons - today it's like 30% gone. but still flying lah.
